Yeah, actually it did come in handy a few times. When I first landed in Japan, I got lost a little bit trying to find my hotel, I had to ask a few people where some of the streets were. Ultimately, I just took a cab, and told him where I was going. I think some of the maps I got from the internet were wrong, because a couple of people were confused on a street name I gave them. If I had to go there again, I know where it is since I'm familiar with the subway lines now. There was also one day where I met a couple of Japanese friends and went to Osaka. I used my Japanese quite a bit then too.

I wasn't sure whether to post this here on in the Gaming Forums. You can move it there if you wish. Anyway, while I was in Japan, I got a chance to order this massive 11-CD box set from Breath of Fire. It contains songs from all 5 Breath of Fire games -- all of the original songs plus a few unreleased tunes. There's a total of 307 tunes to listen to -- it's quite a box set. It also has a 28-page booklet, which, if you can read Japanese, should be fun to look at. From where I bought it from, it looks like there are only making 2,000 of these at about 9,200 yen each (about $90). It comes in a nice quality white box with red lettering. I recommend anyone having about $100 to spare to purchase this box set -- it's really good.

. . . and then wash it with a special soup . . .
Well, if you're going to do that, I suggest Chicken Noodle -- that stuff pretty much cures anything. |

I think I've seen that art somewhere before -- not sure where though. I didn't mind playing FF9, that was actually my favorite FF out of all the FFs. I played that through completely the most times. But in a way, I'm glad it turned out the way it did though, we don't really want 2 FFs to be similar in style, do we? (Well, FFX/X-2 was similar in character wise, but that's pretty much it. And besides, that was a sequel.)

Actually, Zabuza that also is incorrect. If you want to say that it would be better to say it like this:
Dono gurai NAME-san wa TOKYO DISNEYLAND ni tsutometemasu ka? どのぐらいXさんは東京ディズニーランドに勤めてますか? Yeah I'm getting okay in the language, it helps that I sometimes have someone to talk to to help me along and correct my mistakes. I have been studying for over 2 1/2 years now. If you would like to converse more, please let me know, I would be happy to help you. Edit: Correction in spelling. (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 04-20-06 12:22 AM) |

Unfortunately, because of the area that I live in, the chance that I will come across a deer is very high (and I have on quite a number of occasions). I have even come across a moose at one point. Luckily, by the time I get up to them, the deer has already ran off into the woods again. Well, at least you're not hurt, that is the most important thing. Well, first of all, this is exactly why I don't buy things off of e*Bay, it's a shame that e*Bay doesn't check the items that are being sold on there. Second of all, it's interesting how this guy is enjoying this whole scenario that has played out, it's almost as if he wanted the other person to find those pictures. But as far as all his other information being in there as well? I wouldn't be as nonchalant about this as he is -- his whole life practically was in that laptop. I like how it says on the site that he tried to deny that it was his laptop and then there being a picture with him in front of the laptop! Now, that part was funny. The only thing that I can really suggest as far as forums around here is a Foreign Language Forum. Although I'm biased to one particular language, maybe there would be more people interested in learning other languages. I would definitely post there if there was one. However, the only thing that I'm concerned about is the activity -- I'm not sure that it would receive enough activity. Oh well, I'm one to go with the flow anyway, so whatever happens, I'll go along with.

I was a menace really -- but more to my younger brothers and sister than to anyone else. It's amazing how different one can be from being in the house and being outside with other people.

Wow, I was wondering what was going on around here when I signed on here last night -- then I read the announcement at the top. I haven't seen this many posts in a 24-hour period in quite a number of months -- it's quite refreshing really.

My typical day is 9:30 AM to about 2 AM or 2:30 AM. Sometimes I'll get tired around 1:30 though, but I still manage to sleep until 9:30 though. No matter what time I stay up till the night before, I try to wake up any later than 10 AM. (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 06-21-06 10:37 PM) |

I've seen more and more of these pop up recently, congratulations on getting to 1,000 posts. And yeah, I was one of those people that got fooled by the post title.

Most of the partying around here in my neighboorhood occurred on the 2nd and the 3rd. There wasn't any fireworks here like there usually is on the 4th here. However, in the city there were huge fireworks. Where I work, it sounded like either someone was on the roof or there was thunder.

My main computer in the living room with the television, while my laptop I mostly keep in my room. Whenever my PC is acting up, I'll use my laptop to connect to the internet. Eventually I plan on installing the internet feed into my room.

All I did was try to find the ID number of the thread, not hard really.

I don't know, I think it will be a nice addition to the board once implemented -- I have it set up on my board. It took me a bit, but I managed to get it set up nicely.

Wow, those schemes are just amazing. I have yet to install the Kirby rankset though on my board. I have the Zelda scheme set both on here and on NFF, it's just that awesome looking. Xeo, I agree that you should make the Zelda theme the default theme.

I bought this game and 2 other games when I finally bought my DS after putting it off for so long. This game is pretty fun and it has a few different activities you can do everyday to exercise your brain. From the beginning, you take a Stroop test to see what your brain age is. I believe the highest is 80 (which is bad), and the lowest is 20 (which is the best). After training for a certain amount of days in a row, you open up new activities. For me, I opened up the Low to High game and counting syllables in a passage. I only paid $18 for this, so I think it's worth it.

Sometimes, I do. But most of the time, I figure it's okay to go 5 miles over the speed limit, no matter what it is. Recently, on the road that I travel on to go to work, they lowered the speed limit from 55 to 50, and that's a busy highway. On the part that is still 55, they are making a 5-mile section of road into a 4-lane highway. That should eliminate most of the accidents that occur from people trying to pass. |
