I wonder what percentage of those views are actual member views -- it would be interesting to find out. Let's keep the 10M view from the guests since that's about 70K away now.

Wow, that's a name I haven't seen in a long time. Good to see you haven't totally disappeared and looks like things are going well for you.

Yeah, any hit of the refresh button counts up the view counter there, lol.
10M view = 10 millionth view Considering the amount of activity we are getting as of late, we'll probably be getting this pretty soon. (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 05-27-10 08:23 PM) |

I feel my Japanese is getting and better and better everyday, but I still make a lot of mistakes and that is how you learn. But I find it troubling that when I exchange e-mails with Japanese people, they always say that I'm good. One of the friends that I have is actually trying to correct me whenever she can, so I can learn from her. But there is one person that is saying that it seems she is writing to a Japanese person instead! To me, because Japanese people don't like a lot of confrontation, that is a bunch of lard. I would rather someone tell me what mistakes I've made that way I can learn from them. Sometimes I'll go back in my e-mails and find mistakes that I've made that I didn't notice before. Man, the only boss that I have not beaten yet is the Iseria Queen -- even when 3 of my characters were at Level 255, she is hard. I think I only managed to take off 1/2 of her HP before getting slaughtered in a few quick hits.

Yeah, my jaw nearly dropped to the floor when I saw the number of posts at 48 and now we're over 80 -- I think this all started when Katana wanted to get updates from everyone in the Updates and then I think it just ballooned from there. This is excellent -- I haven't posted like this in a LONG time, and it actually feels good.

Haha, I get it -- didn't take me long figure what it was. I think the number will reach zero in the next couple of days or so. Oh, and 6315. (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 06-10-10 12:55 PM) |

When I was staff on here briefly, I used to have a custom title. I think I deleted it off and never got it back. Whether it's 500 or 1000 posts required for it now, it'll take a while for me to get there. Those "syndromes" are encoded into the board to show up depending on certain conditions -- they can't be deleted or edited but will disappear when the condition is no longer met.

Well, I think we need to push Xeo to the 10K posting mark -- if he feels like posting that much, that is. This board has been around a long time -- I think it's time we see that.

This is good -- it's been awhile since we've seen a posting milestone thread on here. Now with the recent increase in post activity over the last few weeks, you'll probably get that last thousand in no time at all.

When I used to live in Pennsylvania, we would go to a place called Zern's. It was an inside flea market with a lot of shops and an arcade way in the back. When I was younger I would look for deals on games and would buy as much as I could. I'd say about 1/2 of the used games that I bought were from this place. Around here, I'm not sure where the nearest flea market is, I haven't seen one.

I'm in the middle of playing three different games currently:
(1) Super Mario 64 DS -- I deleted one of my files and started over from scratch. I have 7 stars currently. (2) Atelier Iris 3 (PS2) -- I was at the end of Chapter 5 when the power went out. I thought that I hadn't saved it in a while, but I didn't go back that far. (3) New Super Mario Bros DS -- I am going back and getting all the star coins I missed. I working on the last few levels in World 6. |

Anytime anyone is ever close to their post count, all they have to do is post a few threads in the staff forum so that non-staff members can't reply and therefore maintain dominance.

I was hoping to buy the GBA advance version of SMB3 online for a decent price, but could not find one. Instead, I went to GameStop and purchased a copy. Yeah, that's my favorite game out of the Mario games -- although the New Mario Bros Wii game is awesome as well. I think that third installment really set the stage for Mario and platformers though.

I remember those usernames from long ago, it was always something Hacker. But yeah, I think because a certain someone has brought about some activity to the forum, everyone else has followed suit and had something to respond to.

I remember walking up to one of the counters and noticing someone having one of those cartridges that have multiple games on them (for the NES). I believe it was a blue cartridge. I don't remember how many games were on the cartridge, but he demonstrated quite a few. I wonder if something like that still exists. (Last edited by VGFreak877 on 06-13-10 06:46 PM) |

Trying to finish up Shadow Hearts: A New World on the PS2 (Japanese Version). Right now, I have most of my characters' levels in the mid-50s (Johnny is at Level 62), and I'm trying to get all the card to get into purgatory.

What's wrong with the auto-update feature? Not everyone would want to have the posts update automatically hence why we have the choice. I think things are fine the way they are.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes -- it's been a little hectic for me lately, so I haven't gotten a chance to reply. Well, I spent my b-day with my mother and brother (right now he's going through some rough times) and yesterday I spent the day with my mother in Connecticut.
Elara, yeah, I'm getting old, lol. I can't believe it's been almost seven years since I started posting on boards -- but as you get older, times goes by faster and faster, at least to me it has anyway. Kyoku -- Wow, you spent 6 months in Japan? That's great. How did your studying go? I'm amazed how much you've progressed now since you've written your birthday wishes in kanji. Keep up the good work. You are at a good age where you can learn so much about Japanese and Japan, so keep up the studying and you should be fluent in no time. Any questions you can ask me, ok? But then again, I might need to ask you questions, since you could get better than me! |

Wow, seven years already -- time sure flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? I'm glad to see this board still up and running after all this time. I still come by here sometimes even though I don't post much anymore. |
