You just gotta love 'em. I usually go to the Salvation Army by my house to see what classic games they have because they usually have the best deals. My latest buy was a SNES with all the cords, a controller, and Super Castlevania IV as a packed in game( which I was surprised because a expected a bad game) for 25 bucks. I also just bought Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey( a game I've been looking for forever) for 3 bucks at the flea market. So, what's the best deal you've ever got at a thrift store or flea market?

I absolutely love thrift stores. Most of my clothes have at some point been at a thrift store.

My best deal, of course, was a full size, 5'11 female mannequin. Very detailed and currently dressed and in the corner of my room.

the owner of the thrift store near my house gave me her NES and Legend of Zelda and Star Tropics. Later on she called me up and said "I got more of these old stupid games."

It really makes me sad that's what people look and see now.

When I used to live in Pennsylvania, we would go to a place called Zern's. It was an inside flea market with a lot of shops and an arcade way in the back. When I was younger I would look for deals on games and would buy as much as I could. I'd say about 1/2 of the used games that I bought were from this place. Around here, I'm not sure where the nearest flea market is, I haven't seen one.

My grandma used to run the bead shop and the snack stand at our old flea market, probably 10 years ago it ended up shutting down... I loved that place!

I remember walking up to one of the counters and noticing someone having one of those cartridges that have multiple games on them (for the NES). I believe it was a blue cartridge. I don't remember how many games were on the cartridge, but he demonstrated quite a few. I wonder if something like that still exists.

I know a lot of people buy blank cartridges then load a few games on them, but I don't know about officially licensed stuff like that and I've never seen it at the flea market.

Let's see... My NES, my SNES, a broken Gamegear that I was able to fix (a wire needed soldering), an N64 for my friend's birthday, my Dreamcast, a guitar, a trumpet, many many MANY games, an old junker motorcycle (never got it to work) and many other things.

I really miss that place!
