That damned groundhog didn't see his shadow this year! I blame him! I also blame him for not biting the asshole who rips him out of his home every year...

As a kid, I always loved Daylight Savings Time. Always liked the sunset, and was able to enjoy it more during the summer since by the time the sky started getting dark, the day was over and I could actually watch it more. During the winter, even though the sun was going down, the day wasn't over and I was still running around with homework, the kids, crapola like that.

However, this is kinda insane. It said that Europe does this, but Asia, Africa, and South America doesn't...I dunno. Maybe it's because its been this way my whole life, but I don't mind Daylight Savings Time, but I don't agree with it coming up so soon...

**hugs FX** Up until last year I had to have my ass out the door by 6, so I know how that feels. Sorry. I hated having to leave in the dark too.

**blinks** Kinda creepy. I do feel bad for her. I can't help it though, cuz I can't deny liking her either. I was like...9(?) when she came out with her first CD (and I still love one of her songs, "Autumn Goodbye"...it's a pretty song. :p) and while I didn't think too much of her when she came out with the second CD, I still liked the music on it so....she lost me after that though...but that's the thing. Something I was into as a child is now this. Kinda sticks out to a person.

Anywho...enlighten me please...but do condoms really prevent AIDS? Grant it, this is coming from a girl who's information comes from 12 years of Catholic School, but hey...I was told that condoms really don't prevent AIDS and many other STDs because there is still a chance that fluids can get through any microscopic holes. Always made sense to me since condoms are manmade, so I never thought of them as "perfect" anyway.

Like Elara, I suggest books...or something to get information from. Obviously different techniques with better for different people. I've never smoked, but I've had other bad habits, like keeping up with a hobby too much and getting laxed on my responsiblities...it helped for me when I turned the things I was responsible for into habits...so the whole cancelling the bad habit with a good one, works for me, has worked for other people. It might be for you,

Cold Turkey might be for you.

Slowly weaning off the nicotine may work for you.

The best advice that I can give you is to get as much information as possible. It's okay to experiment with a few different ways to quit, and it's okay to make mistakes. Don't take it easy on yourself, but don't be so hard on yourself that you cause yourself more stress than already there, ya know?

Well...shit is hitting the fan...people are being assholes...hell, the most mature ones out of this whole mess are us "kids", in my honest opinion.

I really can't say much here though because this isn't just my tough situation. It involves a lot of other people, so yeah...

BUT...she's naming the baby Ariel Marie. I dunno if she's going to let the baby have the father's last name or the baby will have her's. **shrugs**

**HATES the SAT** Yeah...they DON'T mean you're smart. I did very well on them...why? Because taking a standardized test is a skill. Anyone can learn a skill. There are all types of intelligence. Just because one isn't booksmart, doesn't mean they're smart.

Grant it, on the other hand I think they're useful. If one does well, they can get all sorts of scholarships, grants, etc...I got screwed over of course. I got the wrong fucking scores sent back to me...was supposed to go to a pretty good school next year and had a whole bunch of other uber good schools' acceptance. But no. I get the wrong scores. All the good schools look at my scores, say I suck at life and I don't get the scholarships I needed to afford those schools. Then I get the right scores, basically kickass scores, but all the admissions decisions were made.

Yeah. I'm in a community college. I never once downed them before actually going to one, so at least I gave it a chance...and just cuz I dun like it so far, doesn't mean everyone doesn't like it, but still....
