:p Yah, it was a while ago when I posted those pictures when I tried putting streaks in my hair and just from one of the pictures, a friend of mine said that she and I could pass as sisters (which boosted my self-esteem, I can say that much.  ) |

| Kira looked back at Jobes as she shoved the last clutter of people through the back door. Without even answering him, she directed her attention back to the doorway as she watched the people run to saftey. Sweat was beaded along her forehead as she trembled.
"All of them weren't saved..." Was her only response to Jobes. Her voice trailed off but she quickly regained composure. "Have you been hurt sir?" she asks, but as she made her way over to Jobes, another man walked into the room. She looked over at him suspiciously for a brief moment, but then softened her expression. "Oh I'm sure it's a show." She says with a sigh. Just then, the ground began to shake violently. She could hear the shouts in the other room...they were different. More frantic. Quickly she grabbed hold of Jobes' arm and pushed him behind her as she looked through a crack in the wall to see what was going on in the other room. She was always taught never to get in the way unless she could do something productive. "Damn it..." She muttered beneath her breath as all of the events unfolded. Then, as the fires started, she took one more glance around the room, afraid of leaving someone behind. When she saw that there was no one left in the room, she quickly spun around to face Jobes, her hair flowing about her as she moved and finally comming to a rest at her waist once she was still again. Just as Xeios made his escaped, she too checked that route. Nothing was there, so Kira gently nudged Jobes on to follow Xeios. She then turned again, moving swoftly toward the other room. She put her fingers to her mouth and whistled loudly, knowing they would hear her and she wouldn't exactly be giving away their escape route. She motioned with her hands which way to go to the others and then made her way over to Gregory. She reached her hand out toward him and spoke softly. "Sir, I'm fully aware that you are capable of taking care of yourself, but I would still like to make sure you get out of here safely as well." (Last edited by Katana on 01-14-06 02:57 AM) |

| Kira couldn't stop coughing, the smoke was getting to be too much. She was going to lead Gregory through the back way, but parts of the building had already begun to collapse and the path was blocked.
"Shit." She usually didn't swear, but her nerves were now shot. "Please sir." She looked up at Gregory as she pleaded with him. The room was starting to become unbearable, so without waiting for a reply, she took hold of his arm and directed him outside. Kira paid no mind to anything else going on as she made her way away from the pub but not leading them into the crossfire. Once they were at as safe a distance she turned to see what was going on. Her eyes widened in shock as her hands flew to her mouth. She cringed as she saw the helmets imploding on the knights and even closed her eyes after a while. When she finally opened them again, she couldn't help but scream. There was Sparda, sprawled across the ground, covered in blood and other bodies all around. She made a motion to go over to him, but Caiori had already beaten her to it. Kira looked around frantically. She wasn't exactly sure what to do. While looking, she caught sight of Jobes and Icav and waved for them to come over. "I'm heading off with him!" She exclaims, motioning toward Xeios as he ran off. "If any of you wish to follow, then be my guest." Was all she said after trailing off after Xeios. By the time Kira had caught up with him, they were already at the factory. "They'll need to be healed first." She says as she came up behind him. "I'll go see if I can tend to their wounds, you go back and get more help." Xeios had already told her where Caiori and Sparda were, so she knew where to go. Quickly, she made her way to them. Her boots clicked softly on the ground as she walked down the alley and she immediately spotted them. Sparda was still unconscious and Caiori looked as though he were on the verge of doing the same. She quickened her pace and knelt down between the both of them when she reached them. She looked over at Caiori and tried to offer a reassuring smile. (OOC: Sorry Jobes and Oni. | Kira couldn't help but giggle at the boy as she rose to her feet. "Everyone from the first floor should be fine." Was all she said in response to Cairi's comment about everyone getting out. She didn't even want to think about what happened on the other two floors.
"You..." Kira paused and looked Caiori directly in the eyes. "Need to sit down. I'm going to see what I can do here. It's too dangerous to walk around with you two like that." She sighed as she looked around the alley. "At least here we're hidden a bit. Now please, sit back down." She says as she knelt back on the ground, waiting for Cairoi to do the same. "The name's Kira by the way..." |

| I do disagree with the term "fetus", but that's another topic of discussion. :p
As far as this argument...I'd say it's pretty unanimous(sp?) so far and I'm only going to add to that. I think that's a stupid excuse, and though I consider a baby to be a baby and none of that fetus stuff, her excuse...just...I dunno, even if that were legitimate, it just doesn't go with the purpose of the carpool lane. |

| Now that you guys point that out...it does make sense. So basically, the bottom line is, indifference is really the opposite of all emotions. For example, hate and love cause you to feel something and act upon how you feel. Whereas indifference is kinda like that nothingness...you feel nothing, you do nothing...kinda like being oblivious, only you know what is going on...
Is that what you guys are saying? |

| Cairoi, I totally see your point and the statement that you're trying to make. However, everything that Rogue just said nailed it. Bam. I couldn't agree more with her, and that's why I don't mind labeling as far as music is concerned. It makes it sooo much easier to talk about it and offer descriptions. And Rogue's analogy with colors is the perfect example. :p I love colors. But we all know that there's soooo many different colors out there. Same is applied to music. | |||

| Hmm...to be honest, I don't handle stress very well. Sometimes I do, and others...yeah. Like I when I was younger I was either extremely open with certain people, and only those people, or I was quiet with others. Then when I was about 10 or so, I became just the opposite that I am now. I wouldn't talk to ANYBODY about ANYTHING that bothered me. I would just keep it bottled up inside, tried acting tough, and all that kinda stuff. I kept to myself and the only time people saw that I had problems was when it was the kind of situation where it needed to be handled right then and there. I mean if someone tried beating me up, the only shot you get is the one you took when you threw the first punch.
Then, right around when I turned 15, I just couldn't handle it anymore and broke I guess. Then I was open about anything and everything. Now I'm like...open, but I don't care if anyone listens or not actually. The second I vent, response or not, it lifts a heavy burden and I feel much better. So I guess that's how I handle stress...but like I said. I don't handle it well. I've tried other things like you guys mentioned, but like...when I'm stressed, I'm not calm about it. I freak out. |

Xeios and I went to see it yesterday. Yes, we heard that it's nothing but porn and gore...which they are correct...but I have this morbid curiosity, even though I know gory shit freaks me out, and had to see it anyway. The storyline sucked. Some parts I only got freaked out over because the unexpected freaks me out, but it turned out not to be THAT bad...then others were horrible. Horrible enough to make me nearly rip Xeios' arm off while watching and then puke my guts out at the end of the movie. Now, to make up for that, I'm dragging Carioi and Xeios to see Memoirs of a Geisha on Monday...though I dun think Xeios is aware of that just yet... |
