She...has visions? "You're like Eddie." She announced. "It's okay. I believed him, didn't I?" Nina shrugged. "We can't storm into the office...is there any way...I know you're still a new teacher...but...Nathaniel...he's not such a bad guy...is there any way you could get him to somehow get the names of the people who came for Eddie? My brothers can help us from there..." |

| Nina jumped back a few steps as she collided with the trashcan, her hands flying to her mouth to stifle her gasp.
"Sir..." She panted. "Eddie...he--" She stopped in mid-statement. Once again, a shiver ran down her spine. She crossed her arms over one another in an attempt to keep warm, but she could not shake the shiver. "They...people came to...take..." Her teeth were beginning to chatter. This cold...why...it's familiar... "Eddie's g-g-gone!" She finally spat out, taking a few steps to the side for some movement in an attempt to escape the cold. Squish The tiny sound came from beneath her sneaker as Nina moved to the side. She looked down and her eyes widened in horror. Inside the trashcan must have been an opened water bottle left from one of the students. The water had poured out and formed a small puddle around her feet. When she moved, the puddle narrowed itself slowly, and almost as though it were slithering, followed her movements, forming again in a circular pattern around her feet. Oh my god... Nina thought, her hands beginning to shake. "Why?!" She cried out, slumping against the nearest locker and sliding to the floor. As she did so, the puddle separated enough for her to sit. "Stop it damn it!" She exclaimed, forgetting that classes were in session. She jumped to her feet and placed her hands to her backside. It was completely dry. She looked up at Koan, tears in her eyes. "What's going on?" She sniffled. "We have to get Eddie..." |

| "Leon! Wait!" Holly cried out. But it was too late. Leon had already attacked Josiah.
Clutching her shard as tightly as she could, Holly did the only thing she could do for the moment. If she were foolish enough to jump in, not only would it make things even more difficult, but it leave Leon prone to a damaged pride. He needed to have a shot at this fight, as well as everyone else. Holly knew all of that. So she bit down hard on her lip and made her way to the helicopter's enterance to view the fight. |

| Nina didn't budge from Koan. Her shoulders relaxed and she just nodded into his chest.
"We...we have to go now...I'm s...sorry I made that mess...but...too much time has gone by. Miss Isiadore asked me to come find you...she's in Mr. Nathaniel's classroom now..." Slowly, she pulled away, but she reached out, gently tugging at Koan's shirt, prodding him to come along as she headed back to her previous classroom. |

Dun mean to take this off topic Xeo, but perhaps casual conversation about school from peers might help with the school issue? Anywho, Logos...it's not that they're THAT expensive actually. I go to a Community College too. I'm just putting myself through it. My family is trying to help me as much as they can, so I'm not totally alone...they'd help me more if they could, I know they would...but...and it's not just school either. The small amount of money I make anyway is stretched so much. Such as the things that my health and dental insurance doesn't cover...I pay for most of that. **shrugs** I do have some grants and such, but because the school is only about $3000 a semester, I don't get that much. Most of the grants I accumulated in high school were for specific schools. I do have a bunch waiting for me actually when I transfer out of the community college. So funny thing is...I'm not too worried about financing the school I transfer to, which will be much more expensive. I'm sure there were plenty of things I could do. Get a better job for one...but then again if most of the ones that pay better, expect more...and that would take more away from school. My resume at my current job is making things easier though, I'm getting more out of that than I am from the paychecks anyways, and since school is number one to me now anyways, I suppose that's best. It's more of a mental thing really. I kept telling myself I couldn't afford those things(school and such) and that helped drive me to work as hard as I am now and reminding myself that money isn't something I have in abundance (Like most people) helps me through the random little slumps and to continue working hard to earn the things I need. Speaking of working hard...I think I need to work harder at learning how to get to the point. 
But for you Xeo...along with everyone else, I think medication is a last resort as well. It's amazing what you can do for yourself, the mind is pretty awesome. Technically, things aren't as awesome right now as I was getting hyped up about, but they weren't getting better by me sitting there talking about how life sucked. I just told myself "No. Things aren't so bad." and did a mental 180 on myself...and when I really felt like things were going to be alright...they actually REALLY started getting better. **shrugs** In short, I go to community college. Classes are as expensive for me as they are for most other people who go to community colleges, so it's not a "woe is me" attitude as much as it is a "Yo. This still costs money that you really don't have...so get your ass up and earn it." kinda thing. Xeo, no medication. It'll be okay.  Keep talking to people...perhaps get close to people who are going through similar issues and allow them to help you.
Oh, and Logos, breakfast sessions sound pretty cool...unless that just means uber early classes with no food...XD |

| Holly screamed.
"You son of a bitch Josiah!!!" She shouted, tears stinging her eyes. "You son of a bitch!!" she shouted again, clenching both of her hands into tight fists. That was it. There was nothing else to say as she stared down at the mess surrounding Leon's lifeless body. Her eyes were narrowed angrily, but she still stood shaking. Her blood was rising. If Holly's temper flared before, it was nothing compared to this moment. |

She flashed a quizzical glance in Alyssa's direction. Why is Mr. Nathaniel...running too? What did she say to him? Nina pondered. |

Holly looked up at Josiah as he approached her. Her hands were clenched into fists and her teeth gritted. Anger clasped her throat as Josiah spoke, but she was unable to find the words to express her detest. Her shard was gripped tightly in the palm of her hand. Then, suddenly, Holly felt lighter. She looked down and gasped as she watched herself rising up. "Unless you can pry it from my corpse, you can't have it." She muttered, gripping the shard even more tightly. Then, to her suprise, her father had lept through the air, attacking Josiah. She hit the ground with a soft thud, a small amount of air escaping her chest. "NO!" She shouted, leaping immediately to her feet, but was too late. Josiah had already tossed Henry to the side. She made a move to go and get Henry, but Josiah was in her path. "Bastard..." She mumbled as she prepared herself to knock him down if she had to in order to get to Henry, but Seifer stepped up to plate. "Seifer, wai--" It was too late. Seifer had already frozen time. |

| "WAIT!" finished Holly's cry.
Her outburst had sent her forward slightly anyway, and with the sudden stop and start, when time resumed, Holly fell to her knees. She remained still, blinking. "Huh?" She whispered. For a moment, she was thrown off entirely. It took a few seconds for her to begin to regain a clue. She looked up and saw Seifer, collapsed to his knees. God damn it! she thought, as she desperately scrambled to her feet and to Seifer's side. "What the fu--" She stopped mid sentence. Josiah was on the ground. Impaled. Unmoving. Confusion overcame her and she began to feel dizzy. She was fuming just a moment ago, it seemed, her chest was heavy with the excitement of the events unfolding. Leon. Her father. Then Seifer running out to face Josiah. All of the energy just disappeared in a matter of a second, it felt like, without winding down. "Hen-...my...father..." She quickly turned to find him, only for her eyes to scan over Leon's remains as well. "Um..." Everything made her even dizzier and she stumbled back a few steps. "Josiah...is he...?" |

| Holly didn't even blush when Seifer kissed her forehead this time. The moment he touched her, everything felt okay again. The kiss was comforting.
She looked up at him and nodded. She then turned and searched for her father again, spotting him crumpled in the snow a few feet away. She broke into a run and dashed as quickly as she could. Once again, she dropped to her knees, this time sliding into the position. "Hen-" She stopped herself. Gently, she lifted his head into her hands and cradled him in her lap as best as she could. "Dad...you have to wake up..." She says, shaking him gently. Her voice was shaking slightly as she fought back tears. "Don't do this...you...bastard..." |

She couldn't move though. Henry was still breathing...she couldn't leave him. As she leaned over Henry, covering his body with her's, her wrist grew warm. Her shard. She shook her wrist so that it the shard would slip into the palm of her hand and she gripped it as tightly as she could. She began to feel warm. It's working again... she hoped to herself. |

| Holly didn't even take the time to respond to Seifer's aid. The moment the pylon was lifted she sat up.
"Ready?" She asked, without giving Henry enough time to answer. She began tugging until she was able to slide his body out from underneath the pylon. The force from the tug knocked her back a few steps and she nearly fell, but was able to catch her balance. "It's okay. Drop it." She announced as she slid her father's body a little further away. |

| There was hardly any time to react. One moment she was paying attention to Henry, the next, Eric and Seifer were being thrown like dolls.
"YOU SONUVABITCH!!!" She shouted. Holly glanced around. Everyone else was entombed just as Leon was. Her mind was racing, but she was still able to think ahead. With everyone else trapped, she knew Josiah would hold that over her head. "Why?" She asked. "How can you do this? Your...How can you be so authentic and then turn on people so easily?" The tears were swelling again. "I..." Holly paused. She didn't want to give the shard up. She wasn't concerned with it's power. The fact that it was a gift from her mother always held more importance to her, and as long as it was kept from Josiah's hands, they had one up on him. If she didn't give it to him, she knew, Josiah would kill everyone else. She watched as he didn't bat an eye before taking Leon down. "I've already told you numerous times, Josiah." She said, her voice calm as her anger steadily rose. "All you have to do is pry it from my dead hands." She added with a shrug. "It's that easy. You're working way too hard for this damned thing." a smug smile twitched at the corners of her mouth. Holly was at a boiling point, so beyond angry that she couldn't act anything else but with a calmness about her. She needed more time to decide. Holly knew that if Josiah had the shard, there was a possibility that he wouldn't be stopped at all, but Holly also knew that it probably couldn't be done either way without everyone else. |
