| Pheonix and Toxin appeared on opposite ends of the plateau. The Beyonder was not there, but his voice echoed through the empty plains.
"Pheonix and Toxin, whoever wins this battle advances to the final round of battles. Pheonix, I have disabled your power of flight." And then he was silent. |

| Toxin blinked. He had instantly been transported to a new location. It seemed desolate in every direction, and his only companion was his enemy.
Toxin stared at Pheonix, wondering if she was far more dangerous then she appeared to be. "Are you just going to stand there and look sexy all day or are you going to do something?" He thought for a second, he couldnt attack first. He had no clue what this strange person could do in battle, and with a name like Pheonix, it had to be something about fire. "Ladies first..." |

| *Phoenix wasn't impressed with Toxin's attitude. Could he not not sense her power? She focuses on him slightly, attempting to survey his thoughts to find out who and what he is.*
"Toxin...you have two choices: Allow me to send you home and take your life with you. Or Allow me to take your life and send you to hell." SCRAWWWWWW *Without warning an enormous phoenix erupts around her. The flames from the bird do not seem to harm her, in fact it seemed as if it were an extension of her body.* *Phoenix raises her hand outward with her palm facing the sky. Her fingers slightly bend towards her. Cracks begin spiderwebbing across the plateau towards Toxin.* |

| Toxin eyed the flames. They seemed to be protecting her, instead of harming her. Not a good thing for Toxin at all...
"Nice show you put on, but I am still going to defeat you!" Toxin sprang to the left at a full run, keeping ahead of the cracks. He didnt want to find out what they could to him if he stood still... He had to come up with a plan of attack, but he wasnt close enough to do anything to Pheonix. Then the idea came to him, he knew what he had to do to win this battle... "Here I come, ready or not!" Toxin stopped on a dime and immediatley bolted towards Pheonix. He stayed low to the ground, keeping his legs ready to turn, weave, or jump in response to whatever Phoenix threw at him. His right arm formed into a long spear, about 5 feet long, and he was determined to spear Phoenix with it when he got close enough. |
