There shouldn't be a problem with that, but next time you post, make sure you make your posts a little neater. All I could really understand from what you posted here was that you have Zelda screenshots and that the graphics are different. O.o

Also, try to make your posts just a bit longer -- Yours didn't even get past the first line. If you would like to know more, visit theANNOUNCEMENTS

As for your screenshots, go on ahead and post them. If they truly don't belong here then they'll just get moved, which is no big deal.

Im working on a zelda1 game for about a month already,I meant It has different graphics from the original.I havent been able to work on it much lately but I have a few screenshots to show:




















Please ignore the rupees I was just testing some code,and the arrows should be ignored too.
So any comments?

The graphics look like the gameboy Zelda games, mostly Oracle of Seasons/Ages (personal favs of mine). It looks as though those held quite a bit of inspiration! The graphics look solid enough, I guess. What's really really important are the frustratingly obvious (but difficult) puzzles. Hopefully you make a few yourself!

Go ahead and post a Link (get it?) to your game here once you finish it, or if you want some testers and their opinions.

Yeah I'm really liking it and I'm looking forward to trying it out! ^^

The hardest thing about game design is learning how to not give up. I've started countless games with the RPG maker programs, but they never really took off. If you can complete a few levels, let me know. I wanna be the first to try them

A demo will take time to finish since I want to have atleast 3 dungeons in the demo and an OW but the overworld takes alot of creativity and time.So dont expect a demo any time soon.

Alright, time for me to chime in...

Shot 1: ... 999 Rupees? Testing purposes only, I assume... geographically speaking, however, it looks decent. Considered connecting that pool of water to anything else, like maybe a river?

2: Your south border wall looks a bit odd. Specifically, where it intersects with the other walls. As it stands, it looks like it's higher than the west vertical ledge, and lower than the east one, yet the rest of the map looks like the west vertical should be higher than the east. You've got some issues with the north wall, too, and you may have to make new graphics for those types of 3-way wall intersections. Shouldn't be too hard to tweak an existing one to work.

3: Not bad, but your ledges are still having some problems with how they connect. Also, the magnet or hookshot blocks in the GBC games usually weren't in the same vertical column. That is, instead of

[_][T]
(pit)
[_][T]

they had

[T][_]
(pit)
[_][T]

where T is a hookshot target.

4: The dungeon thing that's sticking up seems a little screwy. Try making it wider and lower.

The rest: Kinda bland, but the dungeon looks like you could have something to work with for an entrance. A big complaint is about the field pics just looking like useless dead ends.


Also, it looks like your font could do better shifted to the right one pixel so there's more space between letters and non-text graphics like the boxes around the items.

I dont think the game will be finished any time soon since I just made mistake,when I was making a dungeon I accidentally started working on the wrong screen glitching all the dungeon paths.So I think I must draw the dungeon on a notebook and base from that so this doesnt gets repeated.

Yeah, except for the hookshot thing, that's pretty nice work. You better post some of your dungeons when you're done though.
