| You can use Firefox for Linux, too. And it's also open-source and not made by the same company that released the OS.
Something that comes out before another doesn't always mean it's better. Something that was released later was probably made with at least slightly better technology, so it could surpass the product made before them. |

| From my understanding, you are saying that:
1) Safari has every single feature the Firefox does. 2) That Safari came out with these features before Firefox did. 3) Safari is better than Firefox. This is taking from 2 of those quotes(why'd I put that middle one there..?). Yes, I know I'm tieing together 2 different quotes, but they work together. From those 2 quotes, I get what I think you are trying to say. That also seems to be your only claim as to why it would be better. Admittedly, I haven't used a Mac in ages(I used one of the really old ons), so I basically have no experirence with Safari. I only have experience on IE, Firefox, and Opera. So yeah, I could say that Firefox is better, but then it's biased because I never touched Safari before. |

I dont honestly care. People say different browsers are better, faster, and more supportative. But in all honesty, Browsers are like pieces to a puzzle, you have to find your match, and you have to know which one is right for you... On PC I prefer Firefox.. But Safari is built for MAC and the newest version they provide is out standing.. not to mention sleek. So its all about the platform if you will. |

| i agree, I used firefox, but when i got a mac, i downloaded it, and it actually didn't work well at all.
Mozilla actually made a browser just for mac, called Camino, it works better than firefox, but still not as good as safari. |
