| While I was in the tub, I thought about how awesome this would be if we had ventrillo as a chatting system.
I use it when im playing World of Warcraft, it sure beats the hell out of typ[ing in guilds and such, and if you are at say....MC (Moltencore) You really dont have time to type, and if your guild does nothing but type, your gonna get wiped out basicially... Well, Seen how were about to play RO here soon, I thought maybe instead of typing, we could all get Microphones, I can get us a server ( anyone can get a Vent server for free, but I know how to do it ), and instead of typing and stuff, we can use vent as a communitcation Medium... And we can use a vent channel for chatting on XGF and stuff like that.... Heres the site To me, its alot better than Skype, but the only difference is that its not really web-based, meaning no one can actually @T you privatelly unless they know your codec.... Oh, and if alot of users here can help me test this for Dial up users, it would be very much appreciated... |

I used Ventrilo once, to talk with a bunch of folks from an IRC room I frequent. It was fun, but everyone kept talking at the same time. 
I use Skype most of the time. But then again, nobody on the net (aside from YD) has heard my voice, and it's going to stay that way.  |
