It was pretty awesome. I watched the original and it went right along with it as far as I could remember. It was gorier than the original BUT that's because it was made in 2006 and the original was made in 1980s/70s. ANYWAY the only thing that bothered me was when the priest died. He was impaled through the chest, not through the neck, shoulder, and hip.  Don't ask I just pay attention to detail like that.
I have grown to hate the color red though. Spoiler: you will too when you find out that's the same hinting factor just like the Sixth Sense. Infact it was sort of like the Sixth Sense.... with the jumpyness and traveling. |

I hated it.  I could go on and on about many things, but meh. No one pays any attention to me anyways. XD
One thing I was okay with though, was the gore. There wasn't too much (Scary movies lately seem to play off on the gore much more than they should. Our own imagination is what scares us the most, but when we see everything right there, we can't imagine things.) But there was enough to scare ya a bit. That was about the only thing I liked about the movie. Now, this is purely personal opinion here though, and I can't use this opinion to really put the movie down, but I don't like the kid they got to play Damien. I didn't find him to be creepy at all. Personally, I thought he was the prettiest little boy I've ever seen. He had absolutely gorgeous eyes! I mean I know the whole creepy part about it was that he was supposed to look like this innocent little boy and all..but I dunno...he was too pretty.  |

| It was dumb. Silent Hill was better.
The acting in The Omen was bad. Watching Julia Stiles was almost funny, and the boy himself had some bad scenes himself. The dad was done well, I didn't question his acting at all. The scares were hardly existant. Just the ol' Pg-13 BOO! kind of thing. I don't really see why it was rated R. I don't remember there being much course language, but I was wasn't really paying attention. |

| To be quite honest you had to watch the original trilogy first... If you liked the trilogy, you'd like the remake. |
