I know EXACTLY what teacher your talking about...Mrs Glenn can go to Hell...

Ok, to make this simpler to read...

This is Not a racist post everyone..just to let you know...

Mrs. Glenn is a black teacher, reason why I say this is because she takes everything seriously about color...Well, I failed her class for the sole reason because I was white...know why I say this, every black person in that class passed her class while sleeping...and plus...Every Test that she handled to me, I would make 30's while the 2 black people who copied me made the EXACT SAME answers as I did...but made 90's on the test...I swear this Teacher Is racist...

Wanna know something more fucked up? When she had a parent Teacher Conference with my mom and Dad, they both walked out when they saw her face...My parents told me that she Failed THEM when they were younger...because of the sole reason...shes Racist...

Now I tried hard in her class, and I passed the georgia Graduation Test with an ABOVE AVERAGE! A GODAMN 575 OUT OF 600!!!!!

Dude, I wouldent sweat over that teacher...she failed me with a 69...And she did that on purpose because i was wearing goth clothing with jesus Shirts...Said I was going to hell...well FUCK HER!

Anyways, she dosent know shit about politics...Nuff said...

haha, sounds like my mother (at least, the Cheney and Gore problem Draken mentioned). Just avoid political discussions with her and that's the end of that problem.

By the way, shouldn't this be in Sunset? I mean, the problem stems from a political discussion, but it seems more like a personal issue than anything else to me.

yeah, i think it should be in sunset.

but anyways... what happened to al gore?
and plus, he's not convicted of anything, because the law does not have to convict anyone of anything. it's called discretion.

This could go either way. Move it to sunset if the creator wants advice on how to deal with this situation. Keep it here if we're going to discuss the political...ness...of the thread.

I'd like to know what happened with Al Gore as well...but as far as the teacher's comments, dunno what kinda advice I could give ya there hun, I don't know her. You can't tell her to shut the hell up, because you wouldn't have a leg to stand on if you took her ignorance down to an office to have it handled.

Now Cheney...heh. I'm sorry, but I laugh at the whole situation. I don't wanna hear the whole he thinks he's above the law crap...no...and I'm sorry, but it ticks me off how they're making this sound like some big scandal. It's just some old guy who should've been playing BINGO but was Quail hunting instead...**sigh** Oiy.

well... it sounds like a big scandal... because maybe it is?
here are the facts:
1. he shot a guy
2. no one knew about it until 18-21 hours, after the incident.
3. he didn't alert the local authorities, the owner of the ranch had to do it.
4. people found out about it because of an article online...?!
5. he's the VP.

if that's not a scandal, i dont know what is.

I should have been a bit more specific. What happened in itself wasn't excusable. It's just that stuff like that happens all the time, ya know? No one makes a big deal about it when its other people. Now I know I know...he's the country's Vice President...so of course it's going to be all over. I'm mostly complaining about media here though to be honest. I don't care too much for the way it's being reported. Grant it, I've only heard about this incident on the local stations around here.

1. It wasnt entirely his fault because the old man should have said something before comeing over the ridge.
2.it toulk that long because they knew that this was going to happen in the first place and that everyone was going to make a big deal about it.
3.He probobly would have if he had the chance. Him and the other hunter's were probobly I dont know, trying to save the guys life, *shrugs*
4.Yes, just like the 18-21 hours thing, they new that everything was going to be blown out of proportion,
5.yes he is the VP, and because of the fact that he is, and he is also a republican has something to do with it, if a democrat did the same thing it would of turned out the same way.

I hear about this stuff all the time, and it's never a big deal, well people you guys should get over it... it's old news now.

EDIT: Katana posted while I was typing that out

I kind of wanted both topics to be discussed. But who cares where it goes its not like it upsets the balance of the universe.

any ways in the 18-21 hours that noone knew did any one think that maybe the vice president was trying to look after his friend? i mean whats more important the media coverage or the man's life. Also if it wasn't the Vice president or a celebritiy would any one care or have even noticed?

I'm not a racist, but this woman needs to keep her attitude to white folks to herself. That's just low, for people in their positions to abuse their power. Teachers should be treated like a government, they should have checks and balances. A video camera with audio. They should get rated like a fast food joint. If they're too weird or radical, they get the boot. That how it should be, to offer us protection from the likes of like Glenn. She's not good enough to get a Mrs.
As for the Cheney thing, it's blown waaaay out of proportion. It was a freaking accident, nothing more. The lawyer said he was not gonna post charges, for freaking cryin' out loud. There... is... no... damn... conspiracy... Oh yeah, and screw Glenn.

i can see standing by a friend for maybe 6 hours (cause he'll be in the hospital getting operated on anyways for hours on end), but 18-21 is too much time. the fact isnt if he's hanging out with his friends or not, but rather, something called the law...? if you shot someone, you dont have the luxury of hiding out at a hospital or not, you call the cops.

yes, if it was a regular guy who it happened to, no one cares, but he is a celebrity, so we do

How do you know that the authorities were not contacted? it was just 18-21 hours of the public not knowing.

right... it was just the public who did not know. yet i wonder, who would cheney call...? the secret service would've been with him already.

yet in his interview, i dont recall him saying anything about the authorities at all.

but anyways, no one said anything about gore =/

Oh, yeah. The Al Gore thing. Try telling my anti-Bush sister about that. She doesn't listen... Noooo, she never does. She keeps countering that Bush knew Osama's family. I keep saying," Yes, I freaking know, okay? But that doesn't justify what Gore said about the fictitious 'round-up of Muslims', along with other slander". No, she keeps on with the rhetoric. Just what the hell does that have to do with with my argument? Didn't mean to stray a little... Back to the ranting. In short, Al Gore was spreading lies and unfounded accusations. That only lowers foreign opinion of America. It was a low, partisan attack comparable to a kick to the groin.

I will be prefectly honest. I don't like Bush, I don't like Cheney... but then again I don't like most politicians... they kinda all suck.

I felt bad for the guy that got shot, though I laughed when it was let out that Cheney didn't have a hunting license at the time. This whole incident also showed that there is a rift between the VP's staff and Bush's staff because one of Bush's people made a joke about the shooting incident (he was wearing a bright orange tie and said it was because Cheney was around) right after the lawyer had the heart attack. The VPs staff didn't tell them that. I remember reading about it in the paper, there was more, but I have the memory of a bird.

As for the teacher, I've dealt with racist teachers before (though mine was Spanish, not Black), but nothing this bad. She legally shouldn't be getting away with it and you should report it to the authorities. If you could get a copy of one of the other guys' test and show them what she is doing then action can be taken. On the original issue of the post: people who are really into politics, or think they are, usually never see both sides of the issue and always accuse the other side of doing the same... because it's usually true. It's why I generally refuse to discuss politics with anyone, I'd rather my opinions of humanity not be lowered further.

Personally I think as a high level politician you should always act in a lawful or at least decent manner. But no politicians really do now adays, including Cheney and Gore. They live in decadence as celebrities do. And they get away with it and always will. I dont like Bush. I used to like Cheney as he seemed blunt and honest. I dont know much about Gore and I agree with Lewis Black when he described the 2004 presidential elections as, "Having to choose between two bowls of shit." Politians suck. Politics suck. *sigh*

That teacher shouldnt have failed you. If she did it in honesty because you are white then she is as bad as any bigoted white asshole and the hypocrisy of claiming to be angry about how you are discriminated against while discriminating others is childish and dumb. I like the idea Morgan Freeman had that there should not be a separtation of histories by race. There should be no Black History or White History it should be our history. Ties in with the idea of equality in grading in that we are all together now. Blacks separating themselves from whites is just as bad as whites separating themselves from blacks. It doesnt create anything but hostility and misunderstanding.
