| Happy Valentines Day!
So, who got Valentines? Who HAS a Valentine? Eh? Eh? I had to MAKE Valentines yesterday, and distrubute them around the school. That was a pain in the ass, but I got heart candies for doing it... And... I got a grand total of THREE Valentines. I'm only counting the handmade ones, not the crappy storebought ones that everyone in the class got. They were all pretty funny... one of them was a bit... awkward.... but yeah! Happy Valentines Day, Xeogaming! |

| I hate Valentine's Day. It just got me into a whole mess of trouble. All it does is create unnessecary drama and I may have just lost a good friend because of it. Im not that stupid Rogue (and im not trying to sound smart either...just to ler you know ~_^), im actually a pretty open-minded-experienced-respectable Christian...but this isnt about religion though, so for the best...lets get off this subject... Anyways, I did get a bar of chocolate that I bought myself...Its called "The best Damn Chocolate made in Georgia" selling for 80 cents a bar...pretty damn good too! |

JESUS TITTYFUCKING-H-TAPDANCING CHRIST CHEER UP EVERYBODY AND FALL IN LOVE OR I'LL KILL YOU. [/tourettes] But seriously! We can be bleak and miserable for the other 364 days of the year. Cheer up. I mean, seriously... if getting a Valentine doesn't really matter that much to people, than why are they such advocates of hate for this day? I mean... you know, "It doesn't matter, BUT ITS A DUMB HOLIDAY ANYWAYS." I don't get it. None of my Valentines love me. I don't love them. I'm throwing them out eventually. It really means nothing to me. It's just a holiday of nice gestures; if its so bad, than make it better by being nice about it all! Then again, some people can be victims of losing love before Valentines Day and all the over loveyness will only make it sting a little more. But wouldn't being nice to others take away that sting a little bit...? Gah... I'm sorry if I'm venting on you guys. I've had to deal with bitter, angry people all day about it. Maybe Valentines isn't for most people in that case... argh. |

| Oh yeah, having a friend that honestly loves you and having to tell them you don't want to go out with them is such a happy thing to me.
The holiday makes the couples all happy, and the other people depressed because they couldn't find anyone in their immediate area to love them. Oh okay, sounds like fun.  P |

I share Voltron's outlook on the holiday. **shrugs** I personally think it's a cute "holiday". Like it has meaning to my mom and my step-dad because it's only a little after their anniversary and my step-dad always does nice things for her today as part of their anniversary. It's cute really. 
Anywho...meh. Everyone's my Valentine! **glomps all** My school considered it like a "friendship" day type of thing. All last week they sold these "valentine's" or "friendship" grams...however you wanna call it. I got three today in homeroom this morning. Sorry...but those taffies with the grams are sooo good! 
I see it as just another day as well. I see the point that when you're truly in love, just one day shouldn't matter like this...but I see certain yearly celebrations as just a way to celebrate everything and have a certain say to make sure that no one gets caught up in the fast lane so to speak and takes things for granted. Hey, we're all human, so no matter how much we love someone, we can slip up somehow. But I don't think that "day" should be universal. It should have meaning to those people celebrating it and be at a time meaningful for them. SO for some people, Valentine's day could have particular meaning to them. For others it might not. Point is, join in on the comercialism and have fun.

| I could see your point if you were arguing that people only hate the holiday because they're single and/or don't get presents.
I haven't been single on a Valentine's Day since I was 12. The only reason why I don't get anything is because I insist that it's ridiculous. I don't hate the holiday or even consider myself an advocate calling for a boycott, but I dislike how people feel this obligation to either feel self-conscious for their own lack of a significant other/date/fuck buddy/whatever or go for broke all together. |

| I had SUCH a good Valentine's Day. It's the best I ever had. as an early thing, my fiance took me out to dinner... then in the parking lot of the restaurant, he blind folded me then helped me into his car. We drove aroumd... (I felt like I was going in circles).. and he parks. He helps me out of the car, then leads me up 3 flights of stairs, into a room, and takes off my blindfold. We're in the nicest damned room in the Marriott Villas, and on the bed there was 2 boxes of chocolates, a million or so flowers, and a bottle of champagne.
Tonight I came home, gave my fiance his presents, See's candy and Call of Duty2... and he brought me mine: a print of a beautiful painting, titled "Pirouette", a figure of a girl in a bluish green gown... I've wanted it for months, and when I pulled it out of the box I nearly cried. It was good. ^-^ |
