There isnt a URL color tag. But people put a << But, the new way to do it would be to use CSS. a:link , a:visited , a:active I prefer to use CSS but the first way should work just fine. (Last edited by SyntaxLegend on 01-14-06 11:53 PM) |

Could I add that into my layout or do I have to put it in each post that I put a link in?

YOu know try using a CSS layout. That would be better off. CSS is fun.... T___T Not really but you can make your own on Dreamweaver XP. Dreamweaver's great with making CSS type stuffs. You can make your bullets different, make links different colors, have mouse overs and effects.

You should check out w3schools.com
Honestly, after using a lot of CSS, I don't see myself ever wanting to go back to using "just" HTML (post layouts, pages, whatever). It might "look" a little more complicated, but once you understand CSS, it can make things way more easier, organized, and whatnot. CSS is pretty much just like defining variables in some programming languages. I don't know how to really explain it, but CSS is just great, and it's honestly not very hard to learn (even if you know basic HTML, you'll probably catch on quick). So Drizzt, I'd say you should look around for some tutorials and just give it a try, you could end up loving CSS. (Last edited by Xeo on 01-15-06 11:14 PM) |

CSS is simply the new STANDARD in web development. Period.
It can be fairly complex once you're learning but after a while it just sort of clicks and everything is suddenly logical to you, not to mention CSS lets you do things you simply cannot do with standard HTML. |

That and the supposed "XHTML".
I don't really see a point in calling it XHTML, in my opinion all it is is more "correct" HTML. (it's just HTML that follows more of a format, and has better organization). |
