Oh wow, I didn't see a thread on this. Anyway, this game is pretty addictive, I keep going back after a few months of not playing it and playing it again. VS mode I can do no problem with beating the characters in about 30 to 40 seconds or so. Although once in a while, I croak when I get to the 10th or 11th stage for some reason. Endless, I can do pretty decent on now finished in a little under 50 minutes to get to 99,999. Here's a screenshot of that (done about a month ago):

This game came out for the SNES back in 1995, 1996. There was also another version of this game called Pokemon League for the N64. I didn't care too much about that version although it did have some interesting features.

Ah, yes... I had organized a tournament for this game back at Acmlm's... I was probably third-best there, with Xkeeper and Hiryuu ahead of me and Surlent not far behind. Tournament never finished, though.

I'm not fast by any stretch, max score in Endless taking nearly/over an hour. But I can provide a challenge in 2P Vs.

Hmm, that reminds me ... we should try out a Dr. Mario tournament sometimes. I'd annihilate everyone.

Well, maybe.

I'm game in any classic game tournaments though it seems hard to stop anyone from cheating, especially if they're a photoshop/gimp master or hack the game.

In the 2-minute time trial mode, I usually can get about 3K or 4K. I have been known on occasion to get about 6K -- and that's usually on Easy.

Yeah, a tournament seems interesting. But unfortunately, my internet likes to cut out on me whenever I try something like that.

Actually, it's quite easy. ZSNES videos. And that'd only be needed if the outcome was disputed; it's been my experience that people usually accept their losses knowing that someone will find them out if they try lying.

In time trial I usually get 4-5k on Normal, speed level 35.

Does that game have any sort of a comparision to Kirby's Avalanche or Dr. Robotnick's Mean Bean machine? Because to me thats what it looks like...

Alot of my friends wanted me to get into this game but I never did...I was too busy playing C&C

Not really...
In TT, I can get about 11 to 13k pretty easily, and I can annihilate Endless Mode, and fighting Level 7 comuters with me at speed level 10 and them at 1. It's not that hard.

Oh, I like playing 2 player VS with the computer at Level 10. I can usually throw back about double the garbage it sends me -- it's pretty funny.
