Pyros dropped his duffle bag on the ground. Clinks and clanks were easily heard indicating many, many things within it.

He crossed his arms over his flaming skull shirt and looked up to Mariachi, with a grin.

"Orders never said anythign about meeting a group. All i was told was to regroup with you, Mariachi, and head to sector two." He chuckled to himself, fully aware of what should be comming. He was told Mariachi was breifed as well... Nothing out of the usual extermination, though he was told to be on his toes... Odd to be suggested... Anyway.

"Well, now that the part is here, shall we head out?"

"Sector 2?"

Eric's expression immediately turned into that of frustration and a bit of shock. Obviously, he wasn't quite happy with what he just heard. Instantaneously, he whipped out a folded piece of paper from one of his pockets and began to unfold it, examining it quite carefully. It was an old map of New York City, laid out in a strange grid formation that was drawn out by a black marker, each grid marked with a number.

"Shit...Sector 2. Isn't that the....oh crap...yes it is."

"I sincerely hope everyone is very well armed. If not, you better tell me...because we'll be on fucktacular ride to hell if we aren't careful in Sector 2."

He glanced towards the East, where he noticed some very distant skyscrapers that had managed to withstand the might of the humanity and beasts. Nevertheless, it was a disappointing sight. Massive gray clouds hovered in the sky where Sector 2 was.

"Sector 2 is what was known as the eastern side of Manhattan."

Missy looked at her gun. She smiled hoplessly. "Uh... would someone mind handing me another gun? I can't shoot flying targets with a taser gun."

Eric's gazed turned to Missy and stared at the puny contraption in her hands. Those were effective against the monsters they faced in this sector...but that probably wouldn't be true for the other monsters in Sector 2. He opened up his guitar case again once more, this time opening it all the way to reveal that it was filled completely with weapons. Every nook and cranny of the entire case, which was rather big, was filled with ammunition, guns, and some grenades.

Eric quickly scanned through the equipment in the case and finally pulled out a handgun. He took another moment to search through the case for a clip and loaded it into the handgun before tossing it to Missy.

"Gun manufacturers named it "WallBreaker". Wide, easy gripping handle. Capacity of 16 bullets per clip. Laser pointer ensures precision firing. Ammunition I just supplied you with are armor piercing bullets."

He was just about to get up before he suddenly froze and reached into his guitar case again, pulling out another clip and tossing it at Missy.

"Just in case. Aim for the head...I only have so much of those. Oh...and...try to stand ready and firm when you fire that thing. If you fire it off guard, it's strong enough to throw you back several feet. "

Missy nodded and caught the extra clip. She looked at it. The last time she fired off her taser gun Missy had her eyes close. Missy wasn't really sure if she could be trusted with such a powerful gun. "I'll try my hardest."

Come on it's got a lazer pointer... so I'll be able to hit no prob... She thought.

Zachs eyes lit up at the opening of the gun case, he always had an arcane fascination with guns, especially since he had never been able to use one. A pistol left the case without anyone touching it, and it floated before Zach. He pulled out some tools, and began fidgiting with several things on the gun. He knew what he needed to customize the gun farther, but there was nothing around. He would need to toy with it later. The gun flew into Mariachi's hands. There was something different about this gun, the trigger guard was removed, and the trigger itself was thinned out, making it slide back into the mechanism with great ease. Also, all of the springs on the gun had been tightened, making the reaction to the pull of the trigger even more noticably on time. There was a small addition to just below the barrel on the front, it was what seemed like a thin piecxe of metal, and in all honesty was. But this reduced the recoil of the gun to nearly nothing.

"I love those weapons, shame I can't use any."

Two words. Martial Arts. Those two words sum up my entire 21 years of life. My sensai's were the only family I've ever known...and now they're gone too. Everyone...simply annihilated. People, animals, landscapes...gone.

As for myself...well...my memories still appear to be in tact. Still doesn't mean anything special considering that all I knew were my sensai's and the skills they taught me. I never had any friends, nor any lovers. All of my schooling not pertaining to my martial arts training was done by my sensai's as well. I never knew anything about where I had come from until recently and I never asked to know. Then, just as things in the world were heating up, Master Thane approached me.

My mother was a gentle and beautiful woman whom everyone adored. She was kind to eveyone and always smiling, never complaining or seeming distressed about anything. She met my father and almost instantly fell in love. They married and lived together happily until shortly after I was born. That was when she learned father's secret. His connections and involvement in the underground group led to his death. Overwhelmed by this and the already deteriorating world around her, my mother took a knife to her heart...right in front of her dear brother.

Upon hearing the story was the first and only time I saw anyone cry. Master Thane said that his sister's death destroyed him inside, but he vowed to himself to isolate me from that kind of misery as he and the other sensai's raised me.

That is about the only bit of interesting history of me, you could say. I am just a simple person with a love for martial arts. That is probably the reason why I was chosen for this. I am not spectacular at anything else, I only know enough to get by. Should the use of weapons and other manmade objects fail, I am what you could call a back-up plan. On top of what I already knew, (which is why I supposegetting rid of my memory was uncalled for.) I have been given some extra talents. My reflexes, agility...things along the sort, have been altered considerably in comparison to what I was originally. When I am fighting I feel much lighter and gravity doesn't seem to have as much as a grasp on me either. No, I'm not talking insane martial arts, such as in some kung-fu movies...but they are somewhat out of the ordinary...

Age:21
Appearance: Slender, yet toned from years of training. Pale skin, Extreme blue eyes and waist-length black hair. Slightly smaller than average but not short.
Nickname: Blue
Weapons: Nothing specific, just whatever could be needed in a pinch and is lying around.
____________________________________________________________

The pebble skipped across the concrete as Fallon kicked it with the tip of her black boot as she walked through the streets of Manhattan. She was mostly kept in the dark as to what the mission was, but she knew that she was to meet up with a few other people like her. She clutched the map in her right hand as she strolled about. She knew she was a bit ahead of the rest but did so on purpose. She got held up a bit and was off to a bit of a later start than the rest so she decided to skip sector one and meet them in sector two, rather than trail behind and hope to catch up.

Her red lips parted as she let out a sigh when she heard some shuffling behind her. Even though the creatures were intelligent and still humanlike, she could still easily pick them out without seeing them. Being attuned to everything around her was one of her most important lessons which she was taught well.

I guess I have to get started before the others get here. Fallon thought to herself as she tied her hair back in her red ribbon, just as she usually did before a fight. The sound was getting closer and closer. Knowing there wouldn't be anywhere to run to, Fallon remained still until she could almost feel it breathing down her back. That was when she moved her foot over to the pole lying on the ground next to her, kicked it up, caught it and turned around...

"What are we waiting for! To Sector 2!" Missy pointed in the direciton. She knew it was going to take a while to walk. "So anyone know of any fast ways to get there?"

Missy's eyes sort of dimmed as she expected the usual... walking... not a very fun task for her, yet she can do it.

Pyros chuckled at the sad little question.
"Well, you all can walk over there if you want. Me thought, I'm taking the fast way." Chuckling still, he turned back toward the bar, and began pacing himself.

With a swift tug, Fallon pulled the ribbon out of her hair, allowing her long hair to hang loosely about her. Almost as if timed, as her hair fell, so did the creature's now seemingly lifeless body. It landed with a sickening slump to the ground. Fallon did not cringe, nor was she proud of her small victory. She simply turned, looked at the thing. She seemed to get lost in her own little world as she stared, waiting for the mutant's body to give off the slightest movement.

It's not dead...

Fallon thought grimly as she stood there.

I know I'm not too far ahead. I won't have to hold these things off for long.

She didn't want to stand out in the open like an idiot, baiting them to attack, yet Fallon knew it wouldn't be a good idea to be someplace where she may miss the others. Fallon had no idea what to expect of the people she was waiting for. She was told nothing other than they were still human and like her.

Eric snapped the case shut and picked it up, holding it by its handle. He stared into the distance, where Sector 2 was located and shrugged as he simply started walking towards it, his destination clear and set. He didn't bother following Pyros, and decided to go with his instincts instead. After all, how many times had he been through this route? He tucked his magnum into a holster that was strapped to his pants, and placed the headsets over his ears, turning the CD player on once more.

"It doesn't matter which way you go. As long as you reach Sector 2 alive."

And with that said, he started his walk towards Sector 2...or was he headed somewhere else?

Jack scoffed at Eric's obvious unwillingness to participate in a group. He used to think the longer idealogy was good, but it served no good purpose. Humanity thrived on teamwork. So, he raised his hand at the Maricachi's direction and electrically manipulated the pause button on his CD player.

"Mariachi, we do this as a team. It would be foolish to leave our less combat-oriented teammates to defend themselves. How about we attempt to stay together as a team?"

Jack's voice was rather aggitated, as this event had opened an old wound in his mind. This had happened before, he would not let it happen again...

"Team?"

He turned around with a smirk on his face as he stared at Jack, a crazed look in those dark brown eyes of his.

"You're telling me about teamwork when that pyromaniac fuckhead walks away like that? You pansy, wake the fuck up. I live in this fucking city. I'd think I know a tad bit more than that shithead there."

He muttered something under his breath and continued on his way, pressing the play button to resume his music. Obviously, Eric meant business and he didn't give a damn what others thought. Suddenly, he stopped.

"Besides, there are still some working underground transportation systems. I'm just walking to get to my ride."

Maybe I did get too far ahead Fallon thought as she slumped against a piece of rubble that was leaning upright against a rundown building. With a flick of her slender wrist, she removed a strand of hair gone stray and floated down across her face. Her eyes quikly scanned the area surrounding her.

To her right was almost a complete dead end. Cars, rubble, anything that once inhabbited the city blocked the path. Directly in front of her was a building of enourmous stature and to her left was the enterance to one of the underground transportation systems. That was how Fallon herself arrived at the scene and was fairly sure that the others may do the same.

Fallon stood there, waiting. Every once in a while the creature would groan or twitch until she kicked it in the head again, rendering it unconscious once again.

Mercury turned his eyes away fromt he group, they ignored him, treated him as nothing, he felt cold. maybe even as copld as he did back in the corporate buildings. He floated away, taking his leave of these people, they would not accept him until he began some combat. Until he proved to them his skills. His face lit up when he drifted away, he saw another. A girl, and went to meet her, he stopped a few feet above her, and stayed in that position.

"Who are you?"

Zach did not like the ignorance of the group, and hoped to be treated better by this woman, he did not want his opinion of people to turn sour after meeting so few.

Pyros chuckled a bit when he entered the back room of the bar. A huge garage. A quick flick of the switch brough the entire room alive with power, the greese stains easily seen covering the ground.

He made his way towards the middle of the room, where his target was, and quickly opened up the door. The tarp was tossed to the side, and his plan was set into motion.

Fallon did not see the stranger approach her, but she sensed him comming. Sharply she spun around, ready to wail on whatever it was, until she saw that it was not one of those creatures. She stopped suddenly and bowed her head appologetically. When he asked his question she paused, pondering exactly how to answer.

"Blue." Was her only reply. Her crystle-like blue eyes scanned this new person. Just as she was figuring him out, there was a groan from behind her. When she turned the creature was already rising to it's feet. She let out an exasperated sigh. She waited for just the right moment to make her move. Just as his head was at the right height, with one swift spinkick, it was sprawled across the ground, unconscious once more. She then turned back toward Zach and smiled sheepishly.

Missy smiled and looked at Eric. "Well he lent me his gun, so I gotta follow him. How else would he keep track of it?" She said to Jack. "So yeah, keep you're head on. He knows the streets."

Missy looked around and with a sort of worried look. Her eyes shifted a bit, but she seemed a bit more concerned about the fact that this conversation was a bit familiar. She blinked and looked at Jack. Missy smiled.

"Pyros can do what he wants. But Missy and...that other guy could need protection. All I was saying was instead of going by ourselves, why not stick together?"

Jack shook his head and turned around, looking for the other man who left.

"That other guy didn't look like he could live long on his own. I'll go with him. Missy, if anything happens, you know what to do."

What Jack was referring to was to release an electrical signal, which he would more than likely be adept to find across this jungle of a city. He felt the air around, noting in his mind the man was wearing metal and attempted to sense him. He felt a tingle reminiscent of the device the man had used to upgrade the gun and ran in that direction. He jumped onto the wall and threw his robotic arm into it, making holes for his grip. He scaled the wall ina matter of seconds, stopping to get his balance on the rooftop. He turned and did a farewell two fingered salute to Missy before breaking into a dash across the rooftops, hoping the man was okay. After about 2 minutes of running he saw him and another figure standing in the road. He jumped off the building, grabbing onto the top of a streetlight for a second to lower his momentum before landing on the ground hardly. He stood up slowly, catching his breath.

"...Found you...Hey, new person...What's up? "

His steps were quick yet quiet as Eric casually strolled through the ruins of an old familiar street, trying to regain his memories, if any, of the place. He took notice of one of the old NY skyscraper that seemed to have been split right down the center so that only half of the building stood up, in the distance. That skyscraper marked the entrance to Sector 2.

"Still a while to go..."

He suddenly stopped and lowered the headset from his ears, as he looked around. Was it just his imagination or did the shadow of that building seem to grow darker? Ever so slowly, he lowered his guitar case and placed it onto the ground as he withdrew the magnum from its holster.
