Ok, which of the above do you like best? I put Atari in as a joke. But if you don't really care for either system or games mare than the other, go ahead and vote Atari.
Also, WHY do you like said company/maker or games for the system the most. If that makes sense. I kinda confused myself, but y'all should know what I'm trying to say. |

Nintendo. Without Shigeru Miyamoto, you wouldn't have your fancy pants PS2s and Xboxes, and PSPs...
You damn kids and your Half-life. When I was your age, all we had was Gradius! And we were happy! |

Nintendo. It is quite simple, Nintendo was the first system I had and I continued to play Nintendo. Nintendo pretty much revolutionized video gaming. The PS2 by Sony was the only good thing to come from it, besides Everquest II for PC. Sega, well, Sega had a good run and I will alwayvs love playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but Nintendo had a lot of better games.

Where's Microsoft? I mean, I hate Microsoft with an intense passion, but you did leave out the XBox. And, after playing on an XBOX 360, I'd have to say that I'm starting to like that aspect of Microsoft.
I hate Sony, but I like the PlayStation 2. I love Nintendo, my first system was the original Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80s. Love the Atari. Still have one...somewhere. But, for voting purposes, I'll have to go with Nintendo. Game Cube is cool. Nintendogs is awesome. I love my Japanese DS. |

They've done things recently that I wasn't a big fan of (GBA Micro anyone?), but I'm gonna have to go with Nintendo. After all, no matter how many stupid decisions they make now, they still brought us the SNES.

Originally posted by Tamarin Calanis Jr. Amen. I'd have to go with Nintendo also. It was because of the SNES that really got me into video games, not to mention how awesome it is. Nintendo has forever pleased me, except for really recent events. Not really duper cruper impressed with the DS. |

I left out Microsoft because this was in classic gaming, and I wasn't aware of any classic systems made by Microsoft. Unless there's once right in front of my noce i'm missing, which wouldn't suprise me.
I am a nintendo gamer nerd. I love DK, mario, Zelda, all sorts of games like that. When it comes to other games, I don't really play. I also LOVE Gradius. SNES had some awesome games. *nods* Who voted "Atari" and why? Just curious what you meant by your vote. Everyone who's posted voted for Nintendo, lol. |

Even though they haven't been at the top of their game for years, I"d say that Nintendo pretty much brought the videogame industry to the level of what it is these days. Without them, would Sega have even created their own console, for competition? And so many other things.
Simply put, I just don't think videogames would be where they are today, if the NES was never created. |

Depends on the era of gaming, early it was Atari, then I moved on to NES, and Super NES for the 8 and 16 bit eras, I made the 32 bit leap to PSX and have stayed with Sony since.
Nintendo did one major thing, they saved the videogame industry after the Great Videogame Crash of the mid 80's. I'm also partial to NEC, makers of the Turbograpx 16 and the PC Engine/Duo, they were the first CD based home console, without them, would Sega have tried the CD format for Sega/Mega CD? |

I think Nintendo made most of the better games. It also reigned as the RPG king. There was no RPGs or series for the other systems that I liked, with the exception of FF7.

I voted for Nintendo, I've been playing games from them since the 80's (round 83 or 84) I'll never the Xmas of 85, my moms got me the deluxe Nes with the light gun, 2 controllers, R.O.B. and it also came with two games, Gyromite and Duck Hunt all for the price of $300
Snes was my teenage years, I used to buy Snes games that would never come out here. Ah, the memories... |

Yes, I remember when I got the nintendo 64 for Christmas. I had been wanting it so bad...
I remember finding out I was getting a 64 before then, too. I was in my uncle's RV and I saw Cruisin' World (or USA, I can't remember which one I got first) and knew that it was for me. Which meant that I had a 64 on the way. Good memories. I also remember knowing (just knowing) that I was going to get Ocarina of TIme for Christmas. Hehe. |

I've definetly gotta go with Sony Playstation. Nintendo and Atari may be the granddaddies... but I like the... uh, the father of game systems... it pretty much started the use of discs instead of cartridges, and had some incredible RPGs. Wild Arms One and Two, FF7, 8, and 9, Chrono Cross - all were so great. The platformers weren't too bad either, when I was about ten I was addicted to Tomba. Tomba! That was great. First pink haired hero I'd ever seen.

Sony I would pick because they have more games that you can play than nintendo64. N64 did have some good games, but the rest of them were kids games. Psx had more than games that you can play for hours. Sega was an ok system.
