Anywho, hurray hurray hurray! Hockey is back. The Toronto - Ottawa game is on right now, with Toronto leading. At the moment. I hope for a good year, and hope all the new ruels work out nice. You can really notice that the Goalie gear has gotten smaller. More skinnier now. Also, at the moment while I write, Montreal is leading over Boston. yayz. |

Montreal is off to a good start, winning all their first games. And all by one point too. 
I hope they can keep this momentum and continue to do well throughout the season. Unlike some of my other favorite teams that do well at first then blow it. *Cough*Blue Jays*Cough* |

**Does an UBER happy dance** Hockey's fucking back!!!  Woot!! I for one am an extreme Flyer's fan. I criticize them a lot, but I'm still a fan. So far I think they're off to a good start for the season. I think we've lost like two games so far. (School sucks this year, even hockey is hard for me to keep track of now.  )
Any comments on those rule changes? I for one am like lost, being as I've played hockey myself for so many years, I still get all pisy for a sec before realizing the rule was changed...but on the flip side, it does have less stops in the game. |

| Yeah, with the new rules, which of course is aimed to bring offense up a lot, the goalies have really now got to show what they got. Smaller gear, bigger nets, and the like mnake it harder for them.
Montreal has won all their road games so far but can't seem to get it done at home. So, they are 4-2. I think they should try Danis (sp?) again. He played dang well, while Theodore isn't doing as great. Goes down quite the bit.  |

| The Flyers are doing pretty good this year, if I do say so myself. Though we've lost a few recently. **cries**
And I know it's not the NHL, but has anyone ever seen their AHL teams play? The Philadelphia Phantoms(my city's AHL team) are having a bad year this season, but usually they're kickass. I dunno...maybe it's just me, but I think the AHL are better players all around than the NHL. Then again, they're not the pros, since they actually have another level to work for, that's prolly where they get the work ethic from. |
