It took me seven years, two consoles, four games in the series to beat before I beat this one... not to mention two broken controllers (one per system!), three different memory cards, managing to get the stolen cartridge back from my cousin.

I just be Ocarina of Time. The one on the special Gamecube disc.

And it was bitchin' off the high heezy homie beef. That was one of the greatest endings to a game since... well I dunno...

Who HASN'T beaten it?

I beat OoT for the first time around when it first came out. I got it right away. I remember, I was eating Mcdonalds when I was doing the Kokiri Tree. I also beat it for the 12094721057th time a few months ago. Well, I started from the Shadow Temple on my third file, but yeah.

Hmm, I've beaten the regulat OoT many times, but the one you're talking about (I believe) Is Master Quest?

No, I love the origional OoT so much, that I haven't even played Master Quest past the Deku Tree.

I'm sure Kaijin has beaten it.

Is it really that much harder than the origional OoT?

Even though I was gaming way before the days of OoT, I do have to say I have a ton of memories with OoT.

I was just obessed with that game when if first came out. I probably had 50+ hours on it. Out on the field I would walk around everywhere, just looking at things, and possibly trying to find secrets. I also remember the day I played through the Water Temple, from the beginning to the end (once I get into a dungeon in a Zelda game, I don't quit until I beat it). I remember it took me a good 3-4 hours to beat that Temple!

I also remember how glitchy this game was. After I got the Biggoron sword, I turned that stone tablet (that you use to get the sword) into a bottle.

And yeah, this is one of the few newer games I've gone back to beat tons of times. I went through it multiple times on the N64, challenged myself in not getting very many hearts, etc. And then I beat it a few times over for the GC, through the special edition disc, and the collectors disc.

Evo: The Master Quest is nothing special in my opinion, and it also was actually probably easier. In a lot of the Temples in the Master Quest, you get the Temples item right from the beggining almost (so, only a few minutes into the Water Temple and you should be able to get the Longshot).

The Spirit Temple and Ganon's Tower were changed a lot, and actually much harder, but other than that, it didn't seem like anything too special to me. If you loved OoT though, I'd say it's worth playing through at least once.

Raises hand, the N64 Zelda's were the only Zelda's thus far that I haven't played all the way through, why, because for some reason, I just couldn't get into them, I got into Windwaker (which is surprising to a lot of people) but honestly, I could not see why everybody love the 64 Zelda's, give me LttP anyday, and I'll be occupied for hours.

I never played the N64 version, since I didn't have the N64. However I do have the Game Cube version (which has both the original version of the game as well as Master Quest), and I managed to beat it. I quit playing it for the longest time because I sucked at the archery part of the Gerudo Training Ground... then I picked it up around last year or so and played it from that point... and passed that fucking section on the first try! Beat the game a week or so later (not a lot of time to play).

Now I just need to hunt down my GBA to play the original Zelda, since I never got to play that before either.

Ah, yes, I hated the water temple. LoL.I think that's the only temple that confused me, actually.

But yes, a good game. And congratulations on beating it. Maybe someday I will try the Master Quest. Muahaha. I just recently started playing hte origional OoT again. Heh. I love that game.

The spirit temple was way too easy. I need to play master quest. Ganon's tower was way to easy too. It took me an hour to do all the rooms (excluding getting to ganondorf).

Hardest temple, I would say... hands down Water Temple. That was a pain in the ass. So was the shadow temple.

I found the Water Temple to be tedious, but not really that hard. Confusing at times, but nothing really too Hellfire. It was at first, but after I figured it out, it was just long. =/

Yeah. I just got frustarated with the water level things. I mean, yeah, that dungeon wasn't necessarily long, it just had those "little" things in it that take you forever to figure out, and once you do, you smack yourself for not thinking of that before.

*nods in agreement* What I got hung up on was the key that's in the central tower in the water temple, you know which one? You go in through the bottom door, when all the water's drained, go up, raise the water, then drop down with your irom boots? Yeah, I was searching for like a good hour before I figured it out.

There's a major flaw with OOT's ending.
Link is a pussy, and doesn't kiss her.

I dodn't get stuck on much of anything. The Water Temple was easy to me. I have beaten that game with *everything*, including Heart Pieces, Skulltulas, Fairy Fountains, all Spells, Arrows, etc, and didn't die once. Took me 3 weeks. Beat it within the first week and a half, got everything else in the rest of the time remaining.

Thats fucking amazing.

I have NO clue where all the hearts are, let alone the skulltulas. The game has a very... dark feel to it. It creeps me out to this day!

Should I take the Clockworkz Challenge and try to do that myself?

OoT did have some darker aspects to it, what with the Shadow Temple and whatnot. oh, and the fact the Ganondorf wiped out a fucking town and is purging the land into darkness.

Majoras Mask has a dark feel to it as well, not just because the game itself is darker (like the graphics), but it was a pretty emotional game. Especially with the whole couples mask thing (Ienjoyed that part).

Screw Clock's challenge. Take mine:

3 hearts, the whole game. No Ice Arrow, Farore's Wind, or Nayru's Love (I'm rather certain Din's Fire is needed for a torching in Ganon's Castle). No Hylian Shield, and once you beat Gohma, no Deku Shield (Deku's needed to get to Gohma). No upgrades for ANYTHING unless needed (Scales, Gauntlets, Longshot), no Biggoron's Sword, no 'armor upgrade' (final Great Fairy, halves taken damage). No Sun's Song (redead are gonna suuuuuck), no Epona, no Epona's Song, and only one Bottle. New tunics and boots allowed.

Now, since Stalfos can kill you in one hit in this challenge, I'll be a bit lenient and let you have a Hylian Shield.

Oh, and I haven't cleared it. I want someone else to so I know what I'm up against...

Heh. Yeah, I would never be able to do any of those challenges, though I've seen it done.

I didn't like Majora's Mask that much...

As for OoT, I think the Forest Temple actually creeped me out the most because of the music and those hand things that come off hte ceiling and grab you. I don't like playing that temple in the dark when I'm alone, lol.

There's a temple I liked and disliked; the Forest Temple. I liked the way the whole tmeple was made, and how everything was basically laid out, and the whole ghost chasey thing, but at the same time I found it to be a bit of a nuisance as well. And the Ghosts thing can also be tedious as well as neat.

Silly Forest Temple. Shadow Temple, now there's a temple.

I remember when i First saw the boss for the Water Temple, I was all "wtf?". I expected it to be a dragon, with all the statues around. Those were the days...

You know what was a serious "WTF" boss?

Bongo-Bongo.

I mean seriously. What the fuck. That is the most unfitting boss for that dungeon.

I'm gonna try the 3 heart thing... but I don't think I can do it. Is it possible?

Yea its possible if you have a bunch of fairies or milk, but preferably fairies. Though it is possible, it is also very hard to do so, seems impossible a lot of the time, but you can do it. The AI isn't very complex so its plausible.

Oh and I have seen proof, 1) internet, people take shots with a digital camera or something and you can easily tell if its a fake or not. and I am not sure if one of my friends actually beat gannon or not but I know that he did get all the way up to Ganondorf's tower with only three hearts. I think he did get the hearts doubled after you beat the shadow temple part of ganondorf's temple, but it really doesn't count as 3 extra hearts now does it?

He moved, lost contact of him so I can't ask him if he ever did finish the game or not
