presently listening to the sound of my own brain. Not a good sound at the moment.

I have been listening to Manson all day though. Golden Age of Grotesque and Anti-Christ Superstar.

Thanks again Elara for those.

Anytime Pockets... I'm just glad to have my original copy of Golden Age back *huggles her cd*

Speaking of which, current song coming from my speakers is Spade, off of the aforementioned (sp?) Golden Age of Grotesque album by Marilyn Manson.

For those that remember my old layout with Pirotess and Ashram, the line I had on there, "and we said... 'til we die" came from this song. Again, I seem to be listening to the most apt music for my mood lately.

You drained my heart, and made a spade. But there's still traces of me in your veins. And we said, 'til we die....

Queen - The Prophet's song

I don't think words can describe this song. The harmony is amazing. The middle is the most amazing part and you just might find it stuck in your head.

Its fun to sing when you're drunk too.:giggle:

I'm hooked on Meshuggah lately. Particularly the song Straws Pulled at Random. I love how low pitched and abstract their stuff is. The lyrics to that song are fuckin sweet in my opinion.

Rie Fu - Life is Like a Boat (first end theme to Bleach)

Again, blame the Anime club at my school. It just find the song very pretty and I love how it switches between English and Japanese. Her voice is just so beautiful, and the music just flows so well with the lyrics.

Fight Fire With Fire done by Apocalyptica

One of the heaviest songs ever on cellos, somehow with distortion. So awesome!

Zeromancer - Dr. Online

I just love the vocals on this song! It goes so well with the guitar and keyboards.

I'm watching 2001: A Space Odyssey and listening to Gunther's "Ding Dong Song".

Makes for an interesting combination.

The Bled - We are the Industry

Samurai River - Trapped Smoke

I'm hooked on that part where it keeps repeating "we are the industry" again and again. Samurai River is a pretty cool japaneese punk band i found on purevolume recently.

I'm listening to Alkaline Trio - 100 Stories.

"I was getting bored with hurting myself
If you fall down enough, well soon enough, you will find hell
It can't be as… as pretty as we hoped it would be
It's not even warm here, not even ten degrees"

Good lyrics.

Moby - My Beautiful Blue Sky

Most overlooked album of his, IMO. Ambient was truely a sight to behold. Wish I could get my hands on an actual copy, instead of relying on P2P.

Primus - My Name Is Mud

I don't have any definite reason to like Primus, they just kind of stuck around as one of my favorite bands. I'll learn to play this, someday.
