Sandra blinked she didn't know that he would answer so quickly. Her eyes thinned as she continued to talk through Keira's voice. "Why did you leave?" She talked through Keira's voice. Sandra knew something about this vampire. It wasn't the Cross that she had trusted and was trained with. Infact Sandra hated this being with all of her might for he killed the partner she had.

She gripped her fist as she knew he was in a vulnerable state. Her eyes shifted to a knife right beside her thigh. She could just as easily kill him, but she was curious as to if she could trust this man. This being who just came in out of the blue. He didn't belong.. Sandra thought. Just like me... She continued to look at him. He could help me kill that chairman more than ever right now if we bonded...

Keira smiled and nodded. "Marriage is okay right now... but I see that..."

Trois shook his head. "I'm okay, I'm okay..."

Francine looked at Kevin. Her eyes softened. "I don't trust him either, but I didn't trust..."

Keira looked up and glared at her. "Xeios?"

Francine sighed and looked to the side. "Sorry Keira, I didn't mean to mention him."

"He's irrelevant" She said bluntly and shrugged off the weight. "He's irrelevant data." She walked to a shelf and kept her back turned from everyone hiding her cold face. Those eyes of ice once again appeared as she said that outloud to everyone and to herself. "Irrelevant. We gotta focus..." Keira looked at Kevin and Francine. "The truces are voided now that Xeios is gone. Therefore... You two can get married by your own accord. You're not required anymore."

Francine was sort of shocked by the remark, she didn't know it was a truce, but she was still relaxed. "Thankyou Keira..."

"Make it quick you two, go get a lawyer from the law department here and make it official. We have a Wiccan officer who can do ceremonies only for the Wiccans, I don't know about humans... But if you want I can see what I can do." Keira said still turned around. She was still frowning because she told herself the same thing when Jake had died. Irrelevance shows how much I care... She thought.

"Hey, no biggie. If Father Carmine is still in the church, I can give him a call, and get it done there. Man, he's a great guy." He smiled to himself adn remembered back a year ago.
* * *
It was five o' clock. Everyone had left, and the casket was buried. Still, two men remained. The man in the black suit and tie, who still wept was the buried man's brother, and the man, obviously a priest, as guessed by his clothing, was Father Carmine, head of the Our Father of the Earth Church. He was an older man, with balding, grey hair. He was rather thin, but not gaunt, and had a wonderful, understanding, positive attitude. "Kevin," he said, "Do not weep for your brother's death. Jacob did many great things in his life. He will now be in a better place. A place without war, a place without pain. Paradise." Kevin still sobbed, and answered him. "I know, father. I just wish that..." The preist finished the sentence for him. "That it was you, instead of him?" Kevin nodded. With that, the fatehr, smacked him upside the head. "Kevin! Your brother did what he did because he felt it was the right thing to do. Trust me, if he dodn't want to do it, he would not have volunteered." Kevin bowed his head, and the preist put his hand on his back, and said, "It's getting late. What say we pay our final respects, then get some dinner?"
* * *
"He always knows just what to say." Standing near the door's threshhold, Kevin looked up thoughtfully, as he took the last hit off his cigarette, then put it in the nearby ashtray.

...Jack laughed.

"Keira, it's time for us to fix you. If I hear you say the word 'irrelevant' again, you're a lost cause. Feelings aren't irrevelant. Nothing is. Everything must be considered, and nothing forgotten. The fact you contain things in yourself causes these outbursts. Show people you care, stop bottling yourself in. A cold boss is just an effective as a boss that has emotions. The latter actually doesn't cause the momumental stress you pile yourself in...I think it's about time I do the heavy work, and you take a vacation. If anyone needs a vacation, it's everyone in this room besides me."

Jack walked towards the door.

"And Kevin, I think Carbine's in hiding right now. The Government was looking for him because he sheltered rebels."

Xeios smiled evilly, his face expressed the true ill feelings of many years of living...

"I left...because you, and the others...That's no longer important."

Xeios' eyes shut again, he was tired, but not helpless. His hands moved to the knife, and removed it from Sandra's side within a split second.

"Do not cross me, woman."

The last word came across as a vindictive hatred, if words could burn, that would sear her flesh...He held the knife by the tip, and out to Sandra, still believing it to be Keira.

"Go ahead, kill me, rid me of this torture. But with my death, remember that your hopes of defeating the chairman, and his associates, are thrown to the gutter. Chaos cannot even stop me now. At least, that is to the best of my knowledge."

Kevin smiled to himself. "Don't worry. We have his contact. He's raising an army, y'know." He walked out of the room. "Then it's settled. I'm gonna give him a call now." Kevin walked off across the hall to the main office and picked up the reciever. Carmine's number was scrawled on a bit of paper by the phone. He dialed it up, and waited for an answer.
--------------------------
At the darkened cavernous bunker, a nearby phone rang. "Trace it, Jolson" said a male elderly voice. "Tracing... It's the 369 headquarters!" A heavyset figure came from the shadows. It was Carmine. He was balding, and his hair was grey, but still retained his demeanor. "Give it to me, Jolson." The thin, young man complied, picked up the reciever and handed it to Carmine. "Carmine speaking..."
"Father Carmine? It's Kevin."
"Kevin! My Lord! How are you, my boy?"
"I'm fine, Father. I got some bad news and good news, though."
"Oh dear. Well, let's have it, then."
"One of my colleagues is dead. Her soul was eaten."
"What!? By whom? Oh my, it wasn't that werewolf girl, who you loved, was it?"
"No, Father. It was our Barrierist, Deux. Killed by a Government Vampire, who's now dead."
"Well, at least it got retribution. What' the good news?"
"For starters, I found my father, and he's now fighting for us. But right now I'm concentrating on my impending marriage."
"Married!? Kevin, that's wonderful! Oh, is that why you called me? You need someone for it, huh?"
"You got it, Father. The remnants of the 369 can give you cover."
"Kevin, you don't even need to ask. I'll do it. It's my job. So, who's the lucky girl?"
"Francine, the Werewolf girl. She is the kindest, most beautiful, perfect girl I ever met."
"I am so happy for you Kevin! When would you like this?"
"Sometime within the month, if that's possible."
"Kevin, I'd be delighted to. I'll call you back with details."
"Thanks, Father."
------------------------------
Kevin hung up, and walked back to the infirmary, with a broad smile on his face. "Good news, babe. We can have thi done within the month. You gotta get a wedding dress, and tell the clan, if they're interested in attending."

Sandra's eyes thinned as she knew he was believing her. "The Chairman will die, not by mine, but by your's and the chimera's." She said in the voice changer.

Sandra tossed the voice changer aside and turned on the lights so that there were no shadows. No ways to escape. Xeios was so far in her grasp right now she didn't want him to leave. She turned the simulation off and walked in locking the pass code. "Tell me..." Sandra said. "You don't belong here." She said aloud. The room was sound proof and there were no cameras evaluating. "So why are you here vampire?" Sandra felt a connection with this vampire. "I don't cross anything. Just make the boundaries thinner." Sandra shook her head and backed off. "Torture?" She made a smirk. "You call this torture?" Sandra turned her back to Xeios and laughed spreading her arms out. "Can't you see? We don't belong here... We're just toys..." She laughed longer. "Experimentations to satisfy the Governments needs for a more unionized world." Her eyes closed as she turned back. "A unionized world of fear." She opened the green orbs opened towards Xeios. The florescent lights glared down on the two. Her eyes peirced into Xeios's soul. "Yet the Government's arrogance disgusts me."

Francine smiled and nodded. "The dress is ceremonial, and at the Ullrics." Her eyes widened. "I just spaced! The Ullrics wanted to see us about that too!"

Keira looked at Jack and then sighed. "I would like to hear that and have that happen, but there is one thing I must do." She looked at Trois.

Trois nodded and walked off.

Dalit pulled at his mother's shirt. "Are you okay?"

Aldis looked up and sighed. "There's something wrong here. I don't see the Government coming after Dalit.."

Dalit nodded.

Moments lated Trois came back with a huge notebook with Deux's signature seal on it. "Only a type 3 witch can break this barrier." He looked at Morrighan. "It's her research she worked so hard on."

*Morrighan looked down at her son and ruffled his hair*

"I'm fine, sweetie. Don't worry about me."

*Her expression went grim at the mention of the lack of pursuit of Dalit... while she enjoyed this calm period, she knew the government too well to relax and think they had given up... or honored Xeios's request*

"They are licking their wounds and preparing for the next attempt, I know them that well at least."

*Morrighan looked at the notebook in Trois's hands as he returned. She held out her hand towards him*

"I can at least try, if you want me to. Give it here."

*She takes the book and closes her eyes as she places her right hand over the seal. Focusing all of her energy on the seal she willed it to open. Her hand glowed with crackly energy and the seal vanished. Morrighan ran her hand along the cover of the notebook once gently, almost as if in apology, before handing the book to Keira*

"What do you hope to find in there?"

As Adam sat back in his chair, he called Kramer over again. "Mr. Kramer?" Kramer came promptly, and stood next to him. "Since the 369 has not retaliated.... We shall wait for them longer." Kramer was surprised at his commander's desicion, to say the least. "When they do come, it will probably be a small operation; an imfiltration. That would be the only explanation behind the amount of time they're taking. THey're planning..." Kramer pushed his glasses up on his nose. "We'll capture our infiltators and force them to give us Dalit in return for the 'safety' of their lives." He chuckled to himself. "We'll then have al the elements we ned for the Chimeric Transformation!

Keira put her hand on the notbook. "This was what I put Deux and Trois on missions. They would gather information that I needed. Infact there is work in this book written here about the transformations. I have only heard stories, but I told Deux and Trois to go on these background missions to gather this work right here. This book that was to be published and put into the library. But Deux said that it was too secret to be put into a public place for everyone to read. So this was one of her last barriers on this notebook."

Trois nodded. "It took her forever to get everything right, plus only a human could carry it. Thus that is why I carried it in. It has my blood on it as well." Trois pointed a finger at the spot in the shape of a pentacle. "That was Deux's blood." He said and then he pointed to a spot in the shape of a sun. "That is mine. It took us a lot of work just to gather all of this information. It's top secret because I wanted only Keira and you all to see it." He smiled. "Deux willed it so, her last words on this barrier were, 'The circle is open, but never broken, we are the people, we are the power, we are the change. So mote it be.'" Trois looked at everyone. He opened the notebook and looked at Keira. "This is your part."

Keira nodded and read from the papers. Her eyes widened as she read aloud.

"The chimera is a being of four parts. Four races bound together in a chain, in one mind, four souls, four hearts and one body." Keira clanched the table. "This being is extrememly powerful with the power of all four people in this world. This research has been started to see if the being is stable. This being is to be put on hold for we will need creatures powerful enough to help this creature be put together. We will separate the creatures into four different experiments." Keira looked at the book and then looked up. "Four experiments... that's all these people were to them.. creatures." Keira's eyes glared back at the book. "Our research we help gain a knowledge and access the road to power."

Trois looked at everyone. "That was copied exactly from the journals of the head researcher Urashi. He's the most twisted person I bet even Dalit could remember him..."

Keira nodded. She closed the book. "I want you all to take a small break, we will continue later. Aldis you stay with Jack and make sure he doesn't follow me. Chaos will not follow me either. I will make sure of that. Francine you and Kevin will be married after your mission save the dress up for later. I'm sorry. I want Morrighan to come back with out Dalit after the break." Keira had read ahead in the notebook and stopped purposely. Keira walked out of the office into a room full of light with no shadows and stood alone closing the door.

As soon as the door closed, the door shook violently, and nearly splitered apart, as a massive dent formed in the middle of the door.

Chaos appeared almost instantly, flying blackwards, his claws clamped over his forehead. He landed with a thud on the floor squirming in pain

"WHAT THE HELL?!" He sat up from the floor, his forehead bleeding. "Since when did Keira have one of THOES rooms?!" He blinked for a moment, still in a daze.

"Sometimes Chaos..." She said aloud. "I wished you used the door!" Her mind was agitated. Keira read through the notebook page by page to herself and sighed. "Door's unlocked by the way..." She looked at the white room she knew exactly what this room was. She laughed at the thought of this room and sat down at the table. "This is the only room I know of that people dread. People call it the insanity room. This was where we stuffed government officials for questioning." She looked at the wall and sighed. "Yet there are no scratches and blood stains. Wiccans use mindcrushing abilities. Humans use what they call scare tactics." Keira's voice faded as she continued to read.

Xeios waited for the woman to finish. She seemed to be insane with rage, or some inner insanity. I guess that happens to all of our 'mythological' species. He looked dead into those 'soul-piercing' eyes, and smiled.

"Sandra, how pleasant of you to join us. We were just having a chat with you."

Xeios chuckled softly.

"So, do you mean to suggest we, join you as the chimaera, and attack this organization? How bold..."

Xeios chuckled again, this was turning out to be fun...no a blast.

Sandra glared at Xeios. She was very suspecting of the man. She blinked and smiled then turned around. "Just as I thought.." She said sanely. "My kindred spirit's the brains with insanity." She shook her head and looked at Xeios. "I want to destroy the world, because the world put me through this." She touched the back of her neck and lifted her hair showing the nasty scar. "This is the real type 3 werewolf. A Werewolf with artificial knowledge of the ages." She put her hair down and looked away. "This knowledge is too much."

James woke up in his chair after a quick doze. He could hear Keira's voice in her office, and he decided to go and talk to her, with a manilla folder under his arm. He walked to the busted door, and rapped on the frame. "Miss Keira? It's James. If you're feeling up to it... Would you like the informationon the Chimera now?

Xeios chuckled again.

"And how...do you think I feel? to have the knowledge of most of the Vampiric happennings from almost two-thousand years? Living through those times is worse than the knowledge of those times."

Xeios' face was contorted with anger.

"Woman, I will help you rid this planet from it's frail existence. But you must do something for me..."

Xeios sneered.

James nodded, plopped the folder on Keira's desk and opened it up to the first page, showing some reports. "Reports indicate that several test subjects have become horrifically desfigured, and have shown a substantial growth spurt. They've also become incedibly destructive... at least, those who survived the process. The survival rate for the test subjects was 43%. They began to attack and destroy everything within their range of perception, to the point of exhaustion." He shook his head. "Here are photographs of some of the test subjects." he flipped the page to reveal some photographs; rather disturbing photographs. The creatures weren't even human. No eyes, no nose. A large, gaping mouth, and gigantic claws. It looked incredibly disfigured. "What happens when you mix too many colors together? They turn an ugly blackish brownish color. The same thing happens with genes and DNA. It gets confused and goes haywire. It deviates so far from its original strains, that everything goes to black. An unidetifiable grey area of Biology."

Keira looked at James and smiled. "Thankyou. But as you can see research has shown that this monster," she held onto the notebook, "will have four hearts, meaning it will be like four bodys fused together. Most likely this monster will have knowledge from the ages."

Francine sighed and walked across the hall way to find Chaos. She giggled and walked on. This vampire had shown her many tricks that she seemed to like but it seemed that this time Keira outsmarted her.

Chaos lookede over his shoulder, a small stream of blood flowing down his face, but it was quickly healing. He looked at Francine as she opened the door, and blinked.

"My my, what do we have here?" He stood up, and shook his spikey, waist long hair. "I'll be outside if anyone needs me..." He walked to the wall, and glided through the shadows, and appeared on the oppasite side.

He looked to the left, at Keira's office door, and turned to the right, down the hall, still rubbing his head.
