| The 3 day rules for tourneys say you must post by the time the last post was made. I posted at 8:06pm, so yesterday (the 2nd), at 8:06pm was your deadline. I even didnt send anything to Kaijin to formally make him aware of this until about 10:30 thinking you werent at home, and I wasnt expecting for Kaijin to come on so soon. It was just bad luck on your part. Dont worry about it, you win some, and you loose some. Atleast you got your first loss in 10 years? That has got to mean something, right? | A convo between me and Sparda, about my most recent problem with this fight...
Chrislandx5: You couldn't have even given me one more week to turn the battle around Sparda Hellsing: Hm? Chrislandx5: I don't even attack my opponents early in the battle, especially when they are using their body to try and tear trhough my flesh. Chrislandx5: using their powers* Chrislandx5: To make my armor Chrislandx5: tear through my body Chrislandx5: I don't accept the loss Sparda Hellsing: Tough. Chrislandx5: I was going to, and could have beaten him Chrislandx5: And you know it Sparda Hellsing: No, I don't. And the judges didn't know it either. Which was why Shuyin was proclaimed winner. Chrislandx5: It fucking pisses me off when whit like this happens Chrislandx5: Why exactly Chrislandx5: explain it to me Sparda Hellsing: You said yourself that you'd accept whatever decision Leon passes, earlier in the battle, did you not? Chrislandx5: I did, but I was talking about a completely different subject Chrislandx5: A subject that was at that time in discussion Chrislandx5: The 'after two weeks' rule, was instated towards the end of my battle Chrislandx5: So, it should be two weeks after it was instated, not two weeks after the battle started Sparda Hellsing: It doesn't matter when it was implemented. | Quite frankly, this pisses me off. Not the fact that i was DQed..but the fact that my opponent notified a judge.
Especially since the sole purpose of logging on was making a reply. I bust my ass. Not to by nice things..not to have fun..to make sure my family has electricity and running water. It would have been nice if my average time of post was taken into account. But...there are always other tournies. I have every intention of taking the title from whomever wins (provided they can agree to a untimed battle). Des...i wasn't holding back 80%. Hell..i wasn't holding back 99%. We will have another go sooner or later, trust me. With all that said..good luck to those who have moved on, including you Des. I was really looking forward to seeing how our fight progressed..and i am equally anticipating your next battle. Wait...two more points. 1: I was DQed. I'll consider it a loss when i'm beaten. But if there's some type of ladder i don't know about, feel free to list it as a loss. Combat is combat..but then again, rules are rules. 2: Okay..i'm pissed off about my DQ. I put my family before posting, so in a way, it's justified. But i still accept the "Technical loss". Xei...calm the down. Could you beat Sparda? Or Leon? Or Kai? They are judges for a reason. Accept it..move on. It is one battle. This isn't a nationally ranked tourny. Be pissed..but don't insult your opponent like that. It is simply..bad sportsmanship. |
