| This is making me turn blue in the face...EVERYONE WITH PROBLEMS COMES TO CHRIS...Sometimes wheni ask whats wrong thats fine...there are a few people i am shrinks to cause with out me they would implode and do something rash like try to commit suicide again...
WHY IS THAT THE STANDARD ACTION WHEN LIFE GETS SHITTY!!!!!!!!! THAT IS THE CHEAP WAY OUT OF LIFE!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT DOES TO YOUR FRIENDS THE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!! IT! HURTS! THEM! Aalot of my friends now are like...I'm boring...im not interesting...no on likes me...etc...If i didnt like you i wouldnt be talking to you...What the hell is wrong with you did your cat die or something why are you doing this shit in the summer... And with two of my friends its like "My boyfriend cheated on me and used me...I really should have listened to you Chris" *Sob on my shoulder* What the hell is wrong with people listen to someone you trust once in a while i feel like shit when things like this happen to these to people in my life... |

| Wow.. I've totally been there. I mean, I sometimes feel like I'm not good enough to be around and don't go out with people much because I'm not invited and so on, but then when a crisis hits, I'm among the first to hear about it.
People categorize their friends as such: People to party with, People to use as sounding boards, People to ask for advice from, People to go to sophistocated things to, what have you. I tend to be on most people's sounding board/counselor/advice list. I can't tell you how many people came to me this past week with some sort of pregnancy issue, that's coupled with some sort of infidelity. Many of these calls came in the middle of the night, I might add. Take it as a compliment. I know it sucks, but look at it this way... how well do you have to know a person to drink or party with them as compared to telling your most inner feelings to? Hell, even certain folks who proclaim they hate me still call me up. If you're helping them from wanting to commit suicide, you're doing a good thing and leave it at that, but there are some times when you can't baby the person and continuously come to their beckon call when they need help. You have your own life to live and they need to learn how to fish so they can feed their souls for a lifetime. (Last edited by Rogue on 08-05-05 04:50 PM) |

| Ah, I see what you mean now.
And yes, I know the feeling as well, from both sides. I'll have people that call me or pull me aside and rant about something. For the most part I don't mind, but when it is constant drama bullshit from the same person over and over you just stop caring. Those people. I either just go through the motions, or I turn bluntly honest with. Example: "You're not going to kill yourself. If you really wanted to, you would not have called me, you wouldn't have called anyone... you would have just done it." A lot of times that will shock them into common sense and they will shut up and leave you alone. |

| Yeah that whole blunt thing doesnt work with some of these people...cause then they will go and do it...or try to atleast...
I am blunt with two of these people cause thats the only way to get it into there head...theyll hate me for awhile then they start to understand why i did it... |

| I say unless the really hold a special place in your heart and are a dear person to ou let them fucking kill themselves if they want. Who gives a flying fuck anymore. Tell them to get over it. There are people in the world with far worse problems than theirs that just keep on living.
