Ladies and gentlemen...this is getting out of hand.

This board has quite obviously been rather..sheltered. I have the feeling that few of you have ventured beyond this or similar boards. So allow me to touch upon the RP treatment of your ill-treated "guests".

You look down on us for coming from a superiour style of simming (RP wise). It is that simple. We pride description, style and skill..while many of you prefer to keep things as bare-bones as humanly possible. Normally, this would pose no problem...but members, staff and admins alike have shown an AUTOMATIC dislike towards us.

Reno's actions in his fight were..severe. However, his opponent's were simply unacceptable. Anyone who's been simming for more than a week knows full well that an "unstoppable" attack with an undefined weapon that can cut through absolutely "anything" is NOT good simming. Yet the judges here completely overlooked the flaws in these posts because of what? Reno's severity in dealing with them? The truth is simple. Reno did not mod. His opponent was incredibley lazy in the description of his weapon, and Reno took full advantage of that after reading a mod-filled post.

Let me ask you a question. Do you people want to run a fair board? The way it's looking now, you are perfectly happy handing out biased rulings and allowing ill treatment of people who have come to bring a fresh wave of Simming to your board. The staff here needs to take note of the actions of the members AND it's own.

And that is why we are getting tired of this. You see, a good number of us don't see your style supirier to ours. We pride ourselves in having fun, not having to turn entertainment into work.

We are tired of the egos flying around. And it's not even Shin-Ra that the problem is comming from. It's the select few that happens to be in the ranks of Shin-Ra.

We just wannt thoes troubled people to stop bothering us, and stop trying to twist our rules. We'v ehad these rules for two years. We are NOT going to twist them just because some egotistical person dosn't think "Their Right"

Instead of sitting there going "You all suck, we can own you easy" Just sit there, and acctually try to flow with it for a while. Just try to have fun with these rules, not try to twist them.

Notice that i said "RP wise"..which is something that has been admitted by various members here.

We do not "flow" with your rules because they are the kind of rules we saw 7-10 years ago, when most of us were just starting out. I would go into more detail about them, but i am NOT here to insult anyone.

I completely agree with Leviathen. Biased rulings had been handed to two of our Shin-Ra members so far. Deadpool and Reno are the two. Though Shaddow stopped everything before the winner was official (though it was apparent Reno was going to be ruled the loser). Yes, our style is superior to yours, but it's not unfun to us, atleast. We enjoy writing long descriptive posts. It just further adds to the capability of the battle. What rules do you speak of, Kajin? Rules that state to be biased towards the newer members who surpass you in terms of writing (No offense to anyone)? I know you're not use to us because most of the time, newer people who join can't Sim-Battle. Obviously you're the first board that we've been to with these rules. Nothings wrong with slightly drifting off from the original rules of Sim-Battling and making alters, but you completely hijacked it and made a brand new form of it, with restrictions and limitations. We just can't come here and click with everything after being introduced to the orignal rules, and being exposed to them for many, many years.

I'm really not trying to offend any of you, merely stating my opinion as Leviathen did.

Dark brings up an important point.

We are familiar with the ORIGINAL rules. Not of this or any other board..but of sim-battling as a whole.

Shin-Ra is, without doubt, the oldest orginization of simmers in the american circuit today. We were there for the BEGINNING. I personally saw the "rise" of simming as we know it today with my own eyes. Shin-Ra itself influinced it quite heavily.

This is one of the reasons that we have a problem with your rules.

It's not so really the rules, but the way they are implimented, they leave too much room open for abuse, so I came up with a rule to close that hole, the others make alot of sense, so it's not as if we're trying to say you guys are stupid or anything. Something was overlooked and abused until it became the norm.

They are pretty true in what they say, without Shin-ra, you would not have any foundation of sim battling. Not to be egotistical, but look at what you have done to our creation. This is almost as bad as fighting in a chat room on AOL or Yahoo. I have been to both places, and I was laughing my ass of every minute these jokers tried to pull something. We are not here to discriminate any of you, we would just like to have a chance of having fun like the rest of you with some improvisions, we dont ask much, we havent asked ANYTING at all until all this nonsense started. We came here hopping to have some fun, when we battled, we were discriminated.

"OMG your post is a novel! We dont play like that, here!"

Well, thats fine, we can shorten the legnth of our posts if you kindly asked us, however, we have been doing this for a long long time now. We understand the basic rules to any true form of simmin, what you guys have right now is something from an AOL or Yahoo chat room. Bah, thats all I am going to say.

I think Kaijin stands his ground for, "We're not changing it. So tough." I'm happy with the rules. Don't like it? RP somewhere else, and quit bitching about our rules.

Alright bub...take a look at the posts here. We have reasons for not completely agreeing with the rules. Did ANY of us ask ANYONE to change them this instant to suit our whims?

We are simply stating what has been going on in this forum.

You wouldn't be posting about it if you didn't want something changed. "Yes, our style is superior to yours..." ~Dark Lord.
"look at what you have done to our creation. This is almost as bad as fighting in a chat room on AOL or Yahoo..." ~Van Belmont
"We do not "flow" with your rules because they are the kind of rules we saw 7-10 years ago, when most of us were just starting out..." ~Leviathan
"Do you people want to run a fair board? Obviously, it's clear that you do want something changed. I don't know what to tell you; if you don't like it... Don't post here. You're complaining, thusly, you want something. Ok! Let''s all cater to a minority election of about 4 to 20 some odd RPers! That'll make the RP forums a LOT better! Changing the rules because other players ways of playing are "superior"! Alright, I'll get right to work, making my next post in Sim-battle, an hopefully, making it into a big name novel: "How I Gave Up My Dignity to Whiners on a Sim-Battling Board!" I took a look at the posts here, and you do not impress me yet.

We are the oldest, strongest, and among many knowledgable simmers, most repected RP group on the internet today. But we did not come here expecting to be praised, worshipped, or given any special treatment. We came here to have some fun simming.

Now let me tell you what we DO want. We want to be treated in a decent manner. We want our battles to be judged fairly and intelligently.
We do NOT want automatic bias against us.

We are hardly asking you to turn your board over on its head for us. We are asking for a bit of damned decency.

Whoa, guys cool off there. It a game. And like all games, except pro of course, it's here to have fun. And if you think you guys are as wise an you think, then go back and bitch over at whatever the hell Shinra is. By the way of Levi's last post you guys expect speacial treatment. I been here on-and-off over the last year or so. I've been on sites like these for the last two years. And if you guys are as good as you say you are, come in and say your superior simmers, then you better guess that people are going to be bias towards you.

Okay, I read that fight and I just need to point out one little thing that you seem to have overlooked: He godmodded in his attack right before that, even stating that there was no way out. To quote it exactly:
"There was no escape for her, Mika's foolish arrogance had brought an end to her life, there was no way out, there was nowhere to escape to, no where to run, no where to hide.

OOC: If you teleport away, I'll bring in all of Shin-Ra's fighting force to kill you, I don't like cowards who run from the battlefield because they're in an impossible position. :p"

I've noticed that in a lot of your groups battles, you use moves that are either blatent godmods or walk a razor-thin line along the border. Most people in simbattles do, but you guys seem to do it more than others.

Now, to be perfectly honest with you, since you all talk of being the most well known and all that, I have never heard of you before at all, ever. I'm not saying that you aren't special, I'm just saying that you obviously are not as big as you say.

Also, personally, I don't see many people bitching in the fights about the lengths of your posts, but about what you are doing in them (going back to the godmodding attacks). You call people on godmodding after forcing them to godmod in order to get out of your godmod attacks. It's people like that who ruin the fun for everyone and make it so no one wants to sim... hypocrits make terrible opponents.

Now, I may seem like I'm coming off like a bitch, but I am just being bluntly honest with you. Your groups tactics at getting your way are low, very low, and not appriciated. THAT is why staff has issues with some of your members. To be honest, a few of you are decent, but you all seriously need to puncture your egos and quit trying to prove that you are better than everyone else, because if you have to prove it, then you obviously are not.

Well siad Elara. And beside s doesn't the rules state that one a battle starts no one can enter so they are breaking that rule as well. But then again they apparently live by the code "rules are meant to be broken".

I never godmodded, I stated how dangerous my attack was, and I pointed out the only real way out of the move, cheap teleportation. Not to mention that my attack was powered ENTIRELY by her opening one-hit godmod. I used the power of her own attack to fuel my attack, my attack was almost flawless in execution and I stated so. If there is a way out, it is not a godmod, but there are rediculously cheap ways to dodge moves, such as teleportation.

Dear LORD!

We have a problem with you Shin-Ras because you are a group of people who think they are better than everyone welse just because you have done this for 7-10 years. I have done this for about 1.3 years. I have quickly advanced, and I came third in a tournament, only losing to the best sim-battler we have here. Or had, if he had not retired. But I am positive, that the person who won that turnament, could probably take on your three best battlers at once. And I also know, that he hasn't been sim-battling for 7-10 years, because he is one year younger than me. And I am only sixteen.

Now, you don't seem to realize that, even though you think you are the greatest. You want logical rules, because your elderlyness, has taken your creativity. Its time to move over on your opinion that we are all morons, because you have seen very few of our good fighters, actually fight. So, from what you see, and what I see, is a board, that is friendly to those newer at simbattling. And the people who come in, thinking they are hot shit, sre usually regarded simply as shit.
