What the hell are you talking about Pat Meth?

Here is someone who has, in my eyes, developed a sound theory on how our society could function without making people feel like they were inferior, and you insult him because you think it sounds corny.

Maybe you should click the preview button and consider how people might take what you say.

I 100% whole heartedly agree with Zabuza.

What I'm talking about is exactly what I said. It's a very nice idea, all people people, quality, etc etc. However, it's hard to come up with a plan like that and not make it sound corny. Oh, and Radio Shack's motto is "You've got questions, we've got answers." And believe me, I have no worries about how people are going to take what I say. Cool yer jets.

As an adult, I feel its my need to be corny. It happened to your parents, it happened to your teachers, its happening to me (and I'm listening to a Rockapella version of "It's A Small World" right now), and it will happen to you. Your kids will confirm it.

Also, it's not that difficult to achieve...the only issue at hand is religion. It's what causes all the problems. Mostly everything that our society experiences in a negative fashion can be linked back to religion. The religious war between the Irish and the Protestants. The religious war between the Catholics and the Christian. The war between the Scientologists, and mentally capable human beings. It's just there.

I'm sorry, but if you think I'm corny...then I'm corny. My deduction, you're just an ass. That's it.

So, yes, I'm the gay version of Radio Shack, I suppose. Now you can't tell me that your saying that wasn't corny either, can you?

I am straight, not any bit homosexual or bisexual. And I have absolutely no problem with any gays or bisexual people.

I know pretty much all of the gay guys in the school I attend, just because of my girlfriend. And I constantly hear how they think I am 'hot.' It doesn't bother me. It actually boosts my low self-esteem when it comes to my looks, but I am not sure if I want ot be looked at in that way, by another male. It can sometimes be uncomfortable. But I usually get over it quickly. And hanging out with gay guys, is like hanging out with a bunch of girls. I have many fun stories from hanging out with them...

But anyway, I think they should have equal rights when it comes to anything.

I am heterosexual (meaning I am straight).

However, it doesn't mean that homosexual should deverse to be punished because the government want us to. What ever happened to "the Pursuit of Happeniness?" Hey, people are people... If males like the other males, and they are gay, who cares? (I wouldn't want to disrespect homo people but I certainly don't want to be disrespected by one either.)

Look... people have the right to do what they want, except when it become a serious term that can involve the courtroom. If you feel like you like someone so important to you, even the same sex, sometime your feeling may want you to be "close" to that person.

But gay people have their right too. However, if the gay are taking it too far, I will think that they do have some mental issue problem. (By taking it too far, I mean seeing two fathers giving birth to a baby! No offense, Zabuza, IT IS JUST TOO SICK TO PICTURE THAT.)

Not only it is wrong to break the law for the homo, but it could also count as being discrimation too. Homo are people like us, it doesn't matter what they do, they are still people with feeling. If you are just being stubborn and not willingly to listen the gay's side of the story, then tough luck. We are all human that are treated AS EQUAL! Not separate of discrimating.

Heh... I do hope the government should learn that they are playing with people's feeling. It make my blood boils.

Wow, you so contradicted yourself so many times, and also, you've managed yet again to confuse me so much...

In a way, I agree with the essence of your argument, if we break it down to the inherent governmental pursuit of happiness (which is a trait of American government, not so much of the world as a whole) and expand upon that to the human nature pursuit of happiness, then we've hit something.

But, I'm also highly disappointed that you chose to reiterate upon things such as differentiating between heterosexuality (which does mean straight, and doesn't need to be clarified) and homosexuality (which does mean gay, and also doesn't need to be clarified), but if you're going to choose on condensing words down to basic elements, why choose "straight" and the often derogatory "homo"? Why not aim for some uniformity, and decide upon calling yourself "hetero" and my entities as "homo"? Or, another permutation as "straight" and "gay"?

All that aside, I've forgotten what the initial argument to this thread was...be it sexual preference? I believe so. I don't know why something like this always, without fail, spins off into something about religions, ethics, homosexual marriage, mental capacity (or lack thereof), morals, and other factors that just don't need to be mentioned or otherwise be present for the debate/conversation--whatever--blah.

I take great offense to trying to determine what is right or wrong based on the ideals of a rather skewed societal structure (the entire planet, not just one societal structure). Is it so impossible to just be without questioning? Is it so impossible to just accept without questioning? Does it matter if something is just not explained, is just not drawn out to the form of understanding something, is just not fully within the realm of our 10% capable thought?

What if, our views were flipped over, and heterosexuals were persecuted for being straight? What if homosexuals ruled the planet with the same ideals as that of heterosexual beings? What if we walked on our hands? What if we're not really alive, and we're just living our dreams only to wake up just slightly before our deaths? What if we only exists as figments of each other's imaginations? What then?

Look, whether I was straight, gay, bi-curious, bisexual, asexual, or whatever little classification you'd like to come up with, I'd still be me. And, that's the only important thing. I've met me; have you met yourself?

Actually... I was supporting for gay's right. (Regardless of me being straight or not, I honsetly don't care.)

Look, gay have as much as right as people do. But right now, Zabuza, the government is trying to LIMIT amount of people's right. In fact, how would you feel if the government give more right to people who are not gay than people who are gay?

Okay, now I am going to switch over to the opposite of the whole is. (So all gay government people would be straight, and all of the straight government people would be gay.) If our government would be totally gay and now trying to issue a anti-heterosexual marriage ban, they would disrespecting us. Right now, I see the government is restricting a large amount of right for certain type of people, which count as Discrimation. Rascism count too.

Zabuza, I don't wanto to offend you, but I don't want the gay relationship get out of hand.

I am just saying that. You have as much as right as we has. And I said early, where is the "Pursuit of Happiness" when not ALL people are being respected EQUALLY? If you want to be gay, good. If you want to be married with the same sex, fine. Just don't let get the relationship out of control. Beside, I kinda respect your feeling but we both know that you can't just kiss every males when they are straight or not. Some people just don't like being kiss by same sex and feel disrespected by them. (Ugh, that's not helping.)

The point is, the gays has as much as right as the non-gays are. We are people and human, so many people want to discrimate or being a rascist for really stupid reasons. I honestly think they should shut up and let the gay do what they want. It is also their life and their independent which are more important issue...

Like the right to marry?

Your use of "the gay" made me chuckle a few times.

Kind of like stating that you're for gay rights, but you don't want gay relationships to do something that is physically impossible (childbirth is impossible in males (human), regardless of how much a gay couple might want a child that way), which in turn contradicts your opinion effectively cancelling it out.

Gay families have every right to raise children, and in fact should do so because they'd be less likely to impart a vengeful, racist, or otherwise intolerant impact on their progeny.

Well, this time, you manage to confuse me... not really...

Zabuza, I didn't contradict myself because look, I think two guys raising a son (who cares if they are gay) but if one of them act like Micheal Jackson, forget it. I know few people who are gay and raising some sons/daughters but I remember there was this one show where Arnold gave birth even through he was a male (hey, that sound real).

But think about it, if 2 Lebsians (hey, Zabuza, are there the different between Lebsian and Gay beside the gender?) have sex together and gave birth to a boy, how gross would that be then? Now try it with guys...

Look, you also can raise a family, do whatever you want to, but something honestly stupid (like gay couple taking it to the next level) should be forbidden... I care about people but sometime, when you see a situation like this Zabuza, it would be best to consider BOTH pro and con. I usually "contradict" myself, because I rather to see both sides until one of them decide to come up with a agreement with few (or mininal) restriction.

However, you can still raise a family and such. Just don't take the relationship to the next level. You have as much as rights we have, but right now, I am consider how would a heterosexual feel and saw a homosexual take it to the next level and may consider to take action about it. This isn't about your rights or my rights now, I have to consider a account where the possibility of ANYTHING could happened. (Even if I saw it in show or not.) I also want to make thing safe for you too and without making everyone of us in totally disagreement.

I'm surprised at how well this thread is doing. Moving on..new question. Let's say someone of the same sex that you're good friends with makes an advance towards you. What is your thought process and what are your actions?

Contradicting yourself just makes your argument invalid.

And I don't know what you've been taught, but two lesbians can't have sex and reproduce.

Michael Jackson hasn't been convicted of anything, so using him as an example is unfair. And besides that, heterosexual fathers can still molest their daughters. Your sexual preference in no way relates to your responsiblity as a parent.

And i'm not to sure what you mean by "Taking your relationship to the next level"

I'm quite straight, but my personality gives allusion to me being gay.

I really am completely straight, but I just fool around and have a lot of girl friends, and joke about being gay. Though I am not.

In answer to sis's question. In my case if it was any of the guys I currently know then I'd have to turn them down as gently as possible. None of the guys that I'm friends with are my type really.

However. If the person in question is a guy that I know that I like I'd probably run with it.

Well, I'd most likely gently turn her down, since I am rather commited at the moment. However, if I were single I might think it over depending on who it was... I do have a few female aquaintances that I'd find compatible enough.
