| I can grow my hair to about as long as it is now which is in my eyes and shaggy over the ears from a shaved head in about 3-4 mths, and getting like 2 haircuts to keep it tidey during that period. A thing that works for me to grow my hair longer faster is I use a shampoo and conditioner call Main and Tail and what I do is I wash my hair with it once a week, during the rest of the week and use another kind of shampoo and that actually helps my hair grow out faster and I dont know why. You could give it a try but i cant promise any results.
Also cutting your hair or like trimming it causes it to grow back stronger and longer, rejuvinates the cells in your scalpe when you do that when you get rid of all the split ends. My last bit of advice to give I dont intend you to use because if your not into the stuff or anything like that then dont try it. But smoking some Reefer, whenever I smoke a bowl at around like 12 pm or so I get 5 o' clock shadow like a Mountian man, compared to my usual 5 o' clock shadow which is like drunken bum looking. But of course thats on my face I dunno if it would do anything to your hair on your head. |

| My hair grow really fast. I cut my hair about the time Pockets decided to let his grow and so he and I had hair about the same length and I think it's longer than his now. Now I can offer a little advice, but it's more along the line of a superstition than anything scientific.
My family has always belived cuting you hair on a night of a new moon will make your hair grow longer, even if you only like trim it. I've yet to see it work otherwise in my family. |

| Boondock Saint actually trimming the hair does NOT make it grow faster. My mom used to be a hair dresser and my Aunt currently is. People believe that trimming the ends makes it grow faster but al that really does is get rid of teh split ends.
I've seen that shampoo you mentioned in the store, I'll have to try that. My hair is somehwere near the middle or bottom of my shoulder blades but I would like it to be a lot longer so I'll have to consider that as well. (Last edited by Pockets on 03-23-05 12:58 PM) |

Anyway, I'm not sure. I never thought I could've understood the idea that cutting your hair makes it grow faster. Seems kinds dumb to me. Anywho... Thanks for all the advice guys, but I'm not so worried about it anymore. I figure it will grow out a little bit by then, and maybe be a really good length. |
