I'm still a virgin and I'm damned proud of it. I'm a little like True. I have a bit of a phobia. That and I'm just not sure of myself enough to feel comfortable with doing it. I almost wasn't a virgin, but to tell you the truth...my thoughts on sex were that it's bad. There's no 100% contraceptive unless you go too extreme, and I would like to have kids some day, so yeah. But I just thought of my virginity as a fact. However, now after this past summer I look at it as a fact yes, but also with appreciation. I don't look down on sex or the people who've had it. I just don't want to do it myself. Yes, I would like to wait until I'm married, but I'm not a fortune teller, so I can't say that I'll definitely be married before I have sex, but I will be ready for it, married or not. So I'm not going to preach about oh, you should wait until you're married, because...ehh...lol. But I will say that waiting for marriage is a personal goal that I'm shooting for, and I take pride in that as well. |

| I know how you feel Raven. But there actually is a 100% contraceptive.
Other than abstinance, there is one thing to do and you will never be pregnant. Don't have sex when you are ovulating, or two days before. If you have sex right after a girls period, then it is impossible for her to become pregnant, simply because the sperm cannot live long enough, and the egg was just expelled. Xei, um...there's something called...**cough**irregular**cough** What you're saying just may be 100%...if you plan it right...but even if a girl is "regular" I don't think you'll really know exactly...you could be a day or two off quite easily but still be considered regular, ya know? **shrugs** So I'd say abstinence is the best way. I can't afford to have a baby and it would break my heart to have to give him/her up for adoption, so rather than have to go through giving the baby up for adoption, or forcing that kid to live a bit of a tough life due to my error, I'd rather practice abstinence. |

Okay Xeios, here is how it works. Girls ovulate 14 days before their period. That is almost always accurate. What isn't always accurate, is the time between the period to the time they ovulate, and that's where irregularity comes in most often. Sperm can live up to 4 days inside the woman, and the egg can survive 5 days after ovulation (I may have those two numbers mixed up) Either way, that will give you a 9 day period where a girl can get herself pregnant. Mix that in with other situations, and you can get a girl pregnant all but about 2 days out of the month, depending on the girl, and how regular or not she is. So in effect, there is no 100% contraceptive, no matter how well planned you are. Not trying to be harsh on you, just making sure you don't short-change yourself and end up in a bad situation you weren't expecting. Ok? |

No, I'm not a Virgin, and I proud of myself? no, do I regret it? no. Hell I dont give a shit really. To me Sex is Sex and Love is Love i'll combine them together when i get married but until that day each one is a seprate thing to me. My personal opinion is that sex is to tiring for me, either that or I'm way out of shape, i'd rather ust get a blow job or something. but dont have sex unless if your ready for it, I was 17 my first time, theres no such thing as having it too late in your life. And always use protection, I dont give a shit if it feels better naturally, you put on a damn condom so you dont have to deal with STDS or a kid when i know your not going to be ready for one and not only jepordize your future but his/hers as well. >.< |
