Facebook hasn't even been fun for trolling people. Apparently members of my family got into very serious arguments about kids getting too much for Easter. So, being a smartass, I took a picture with my son's Christmas and Easter bibs on it and now some of my family thinks it was funny because they know me and the others are sending me hate mail. One of my aunts thinks she's "ripped me a new one" by reminding me of the two Easters in a row I got A LOT of stuff from my grandfather. Yes, I remember those years as well. But I also grew like a boy (first outward sign of my future female hormonal issues actually) and I grew so much so fast that I honest to goodness could not fit into ANYTHING from the year before. So given the sales on clothes this time of year, my grand pop hooked me up. Which is why personally? I don't care what you people celebrate and get for your kids. For one, I'm not you. I don't know your story. What if your kid NEEDS something? What if you just WANTED to do it? None of my business…but this is the shit I'm sick of seeing on Facebook./rant

But seriously. No humor on this thing anymore. =/


I know people like my cousin refuse to add family members on FB. He was smart. :|

That's how it should have always been... haha.

I've been having my own Facebook drama with my boyfriend's aunt, Katana. Long story short she argued that I didn't write something in a PC enough way for her tastes, I deleted the whole post, and she's been texting, FB messaging, and writing on my Timeline about the shit ever since.


In other FB drama, my co-worker keeps looking at Facebook on her phone. Apparently she and her husband aren't Facebook friends (his insistence) and he keeps friending girls whose locations are the same city as they live in. A couple weeks ago, when we got to have a club in the CPU room she kept asking me how to get to Facebook on the computer, how to sign in, and then how to get to her husband's account. She then started taking notes of names and everything else she was looking up.

And this why you get couples who insist on having shared accounts.

I'm sick of the half researched bullshit on presidential candidates. Today was something about a pin seen at Trump rallies... that turned out to be pins given out to staffers by the Secret Service to all staffers of candidates still in the race.

I hate to admit and realize, previously just a year or few back I would usually browse the internet on my phone and a few trusty sites to pass the time. But now all I do is get on FB... which I guess with my likes and all it does kind of cover everything I'd like to keep up with. Just a weird thing I noticed though.

Still kind of hate phones though and wish humans talked with humans in person instead. Might be a happier and more interesting place.

Truth be told I tend to just bounce back and forth between my e-mail, the board, Facebook, and Yelp. And yet I have 40 open tabs at all times. Granted they're suspended, but yeah...

Yup I still main Firefox myself. I always try to at least condense the tabs down enough so that there's no bar/arrow so that it's pouring over into the side, if that makes sense. This is the ideal amount... and yes I've crossed the line currently.

I'm on Chrome, but it's using The Great Suspender. The only tabs not suspended are this and my e-mail. Most of the tabs are stuff I keep meaning to write down (50 Best Dim Sum Restaurants in L.A., List of the Best Roast Beef Sandwiches in Southern California, etc), but haven't.

My Facebook is completely covered in people complaining about people complaining about Pokemon Go. (I actually have yet to see anyone post complaining about all the people playing it to begin with. I'm sure it exists, but I'm not personally seeing it.)

And news that Kanye West actually called Taylor Swift about something or other. I mean, enough that people are saying Kim Kardashian posting these Snapchats is "my generation's moon landing."

My feed is about 45% Pokemon Go, be it friends posting their screen caps or webpages trying to score clicks by posting comics, videos, and discussions on it.

The rest is about 20% Trump posts and then a miscellaneous cache of other crap like bitching about whatever happened on "The Bachelorette" last night.

It all makes me miss LiveJournal back in the day.

I actually deleted my facebook and made a new one so I could hide from a bunch of people I added that were basically just sharing "funny texts" posts.

Annoying and UNfunny.

I noticed it was probably because of my birth year which I set to '93, I notice people don't get such friend requests unless they have a age of 18 or over.

I find it extremely silly Facebook restricts privacy control for under 18s yet forces them to show their friends list etc this can still mean paedos who randomly type names and IDs in can get basically some of their school info and such. Really it is stupid :/

Hate how teens disregard FB as for oldies. I actually think FB is the best Social Network, over Twitter, because of several reasons. It feels complete, all the others seem to only be a specific niche also they have a really crapo layout.

G+, MySpace all the current ones feel like promotion tools FB doesn't so much. Like how I think dailymotion does actual video sharing better than youtube which does promoting and such better.

I've pretty much gotten entirely sick of looking at it, and yet I still find myself scrolling through my feed without intending to do so.

Right now it's all Trump and safety pins and Biden memes and the latest cabinet hire and dreariness. I really hope we can all make it through the next four years.
