| I've been addictedly listening to NPR a lot lately, so I haven't really been listening to a lot of music on the radio.
I think the song I hate the most these days is that "Thing of You" song. The female clients keep wanting me to blast it when it comes on the radio in the van, and I've never been much of a fan of slow love songs. (Last edited by Rogue on 08-16-15 12:14 PM) |

| All About That Bass and Lips Are Movin' by Meghan Trainor, for fuck's sake, her voice is so fucking annoying I would willingly make a parody called All Under That Bus about killing the moron.
They're the only two songs she's known for and god knows why, probably that shite-arsed media decided to go into a spam attack. In fact I don't listen to such shit radio stations like kmfm, Heart, etc. because they play the same songs every day at roughly the EXACT same time. That Shake It Off crap was somehow played every day when we came up to a fucking certain petrol station to school (kmfm plays in the transport to school). I mean, what the fuck? Hearing the same song every day is bad enough, but at the same point where we are, every day, is a piss-take. |

| For a few months there, EVERY SINGLE TIME I walked into my usual Japanese market, they were playing "Shake It Off." Granted, I came by around the same time after work, but must their employees have to listen to the same music, in the same order, ALL the time? That's cruel.

| Tempting as it is to just write, "Christmas songs!" in truth I don't find them so objectionable, but fuck am I tired of all the different versions of "Last Christmas."
I fucking HATE that song, I hate that there are so many covers (particularly from "Glee") and that they all get an absurd amount of radio play. It's a terrible song about heartbreak that just happens to mention Christmas, and whenever it comes on I die just a little bit more inside. |

I really fucking hate "Baby It's Cold Outside." That horrible song that's essentially about luring a woman to bed who keeps going, "The answer is, 'No,'" and asking "What's in this drink?" keeps getting covered and played on the radio every few minutes it seems. |

| Oh Christ, yeah, I'm definitely beyond hatred for "Baby It's Cold Outside," most particularly if it's one of the versions where the couple are just singing over each other and not in the conversational sense.
Still, why are there are so fucking many covers? The clients request the stations that play Christmas songs while we're riding in the vans, and several of them sing along with them, most particularly THAT song. Good god, the worst was when I was still going to LBCC and there was this couple attending a history night class with Bran and me and they would appear in the hallway singing it together every night.  |

| "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran is from some special kind of hell. Everyone -- but me -- seems to love it and it's been popping up EVERYWHERE almost literally EVERY DAY.
Seriously, went to see a Shakespeare-themed burlesque show in Hollywood and the girls, nearly naked, started singing "Shape of You." The case manager at my center LOVES Ed Sheeran and finds amusement in my hate of how overplayed I think he is. ALSO!!! Super hate how over-fucking-played "Despacito" is. One of my co-workers (who happens to be a straight Asian male) plays it off his phone every fucking day and it's on the radio almost every time I'm driving with the clients when I let them pick the station.
