| The "Straight Outta Compton" meme is pretty stupid and annoying. I'm not even talking about the movie. Just the amount of people posting pictures of themselves with "Straight Outta Disneyland" or wherever.
Speaking of which, I'm really, REALLY tired of all the posts about hitting up Disneyland. Seems like most of my FB friends are annual passholders and are always there or lamenting that they wish they were there. This isn't near as bad as the fact that they are simultaneously posting about constantly being broke. Do you know how much annual passes to Disneyland are? Hundreds of dollars and then you have to pay monthly installments ON TOP of that. And then food there is astronomically priced. |

Fact: I have never been to Disney Land/world. Something about spending hundreds of dollars for some costumes, expensive food, and rides just doesn't appeal to me. 
Also, my biggest pet peeve recently: "This will blow your mind!" "You ill be shocked to find out!" "#12 made me gasp!" And all of these usually lead to links on answers.com or something similar which has about fifty ads per page, and can take forever to load. |

| Side note on the Disney thing... I find it amusing that we complained about it and then Disney raised their prices because they are also annoyed by it.
What they need to do is take away the monthly installment plans for the local residents. Then bam, more daily ticket sales and less astronomically crowded parks. As evidenced by my rant this morning, I'm getting tired of the idiot pro-gun posts that don't even try to be constructive or actually participate in discussion. |

The more I see posts for it and all the avatars with light sabers and shit, the more I think everyone's just such a tool. Disney only spent $25 million advertising it, far less than most studios spend advertising everything else. Why? Because everyone hyped the shit out of it on their own. But what I'm most tired of is all the posting about how no one can post any spoilers. We all get it. Unfortunately, you're still going to get those people (usually senior citizens) who don't understand the concept of "spoilers" to begin with and will otherwise ignore all the signs and go, "Ned Stark? Ain't he the one that got his head chopped off in that what's it called? The uh.. Lord of the Thrones whatzit?" |
