Most of the time his page is not very up on the latest memes, so you'll see something one week and then a couple weeks later you'll see the same picture on his... and then on six other friends' pages. ;;;

It's George Takei and Stop Homophobia for me. -____-

I love posting up pics of my kid but it's not as bad as some of the other chick friends I have. Jesus they have folders dedicated to when they were pregnant, when their child came out, and each month that follows. My mom however has posted up videos each month for her "thesis" in college. I don't know how but it's starting to show more in the latest.

This is the best one

It's a playlist so I can't embed it. ENJOY.

Again, guilty

As for the baby pics, I normally don't mind them or when there's a big folder... but what bugs me is when people have their profile pic set as their child's face and the only pictures that they have on Facebook is of their child/children. Just bugs me.

This proved to be a serious issue with a friend of my boyfriend's. Rey was the bassplayer for Brandon's band, and his girlfriend sort of tricked him into impregnating her by saying she couldn't conceive (and then when that baby turned out to be an empty sac, she did it again and managed to carry). Anyway, this pregnancy was the reason he had to quit the band, move back to Sacramento to live with her parents, and became ultra-religious.

She had the baby pre-mature and it died a week later. Rey kept the picture of his dead son as his profile picture for months.

People were seriously writing on his wall, "So how's the baby?" like every other week, because, you know, no one's ever really up on anyone else's business on Facebook and when you have this picture of a newborn people are going to ask.

Yeah... poor Rey. And was I the only one that found it creepy to have a picture of a dead baby up for months? If it had a little RIP added or something, but no, just the picture.

New thing that annoys me. Science things explained in wannabe gangster lingo... it cheapens the educational value of it and the bad grammar... it just... ugh... it makes me cringe!

My view on those is quite the contrary. I find them hilarious.

Dude...my mom had my picture as her profile pic. It was disgusting. Some sort of "daughter's" week her and her old head Motley Crue groupie van inhabiting 80's friends were spewing around. And her privacy settings were extra shit then. People would talk to her, she'd be like "Oh, that's not me, that's my daughter." and THEN they started trying to talk to me. REALLY fucking weird. Now she's sporting a stupid pic from when I was like 3. It just makes ya uneasy, ya know?

Otherwise, I can't really say what I'm sick of, nor am I really 100% on what I'm guilty/not guilty of. If I post shit, like pictures and whatnot, they're usually things that I find to be utterly hilarious. But most of the time, I'm content with "liking" the pic and moving on. I never had a hard time ignoring shit on fb that annoyed me, and it didn't mean I felt ill toward that person, so I always figured if I annoy people, I won't get my feelings hurt should they chose to ignore it. So it never really mattered.

Although, my "How I Feel Today" was a hit for the two weeks I did it...haha. But seriously. I think I spend more time on Facebook talking to people when I'm involved in group work and it's just easier to talk online than it is to get everyone together every time we need to coordinate. Oh...and making fun of people. I like doing that too.

Your incessant pokes, while occasionally not returned, do not go ignored. ;P

I rarely do that back...I think Facebook automatically leaves that shit there if you ignore them? Iunno....Making fun of people is REALLY awesome though.

My favorite is my most recent masterpiece, I've probably said it a million times, but I tod a girl who was going on and on about rejection being the most painful thing in the world to happen to a person, or whatever, I was like "Actually, I'm pretty sure a bullet to the kneecap is the most painful thing that doesn't kill you. Science has actually proven that..."

It was one of those people I knew as a kid, friended me a few years ago, but we never talked since. It's roulette though, when it comes to deciding who the victim is.

OK, I'm pretty goddamn pissed about people posting spoilers on Facebook.

A pretty big Game of Thrones spoiler was posted by a news page I "like," but am now reconsidering.

More annoyingly, the people who commented were all, "Oh hey, that's a spoiler. Oh well, haha, I read the books. Fuck everyone who didn't."

And this isn't the first GoT thing that's been posted that's made me angry.

The one that's been bad has been Downton Abbey spoilers. I'm streaming that one and I'm managing to be up to date, but they haven't started airing the new episodes in the United States yet. So we've got all these people who just keep announcing the big shit that's been going down in each episode and spoiling it for everyone here, not streaming like I am.

And before that it's been people purposely trying to ruin what's happened on the latest Doctor Who.

Good grief... fuck people who post spoilers. Just... gahhh.

My feed is clogged up with Buzzfeed quiz results. So.. freaking... many.

Even the Washington Post is complaining.

Also, going to have to re-iterate the spoiler thing. I live on the westcoast. Things air on in the east and the official fucking pages for these shows and such will post immediately about the episode.

I know. I know. The common answer is to stay off social media, but that's victim blaming and you know it.

My sister has become one of those whiners and also posts public stuff when it's obviously intended for one person (I'll never understand why people do this, so humiliating and TMI).

Aside from game requests...

Stupid "this person did something unbelievable OMFG WTF AFDKFJDSKFJDSFDSF." which is often a video on some other website that's basically link bait.

This kind of thing has been going on forever, and won't ever stop.

The worst and most awkward part about things like that, is how it's often family thesedays, people three times your age even. It's like I want to slap my parents for thinking I had problems for being on the computer or playing videogames a lot growing up. Now they're just as, if not more guilty than ever before. And seeing the average person talking about memes and internet stuff is just so weird.

People who don't have kids posting stuff telling people how to raise their kids (circumcision, vaccination, etc... or more specifically that if you do those things, you're a horrible parent and should die... I honestly feel bad for the future kids of these people).

And, mostly because it's been 3 years and I still haven't had mine, but every single post that an engaged friend makes about the troubles of planning their wedding.
