I must say I've never been a big MMORPG enthusiast. I tried City of Heroes and DC online but neither one really stuck. I tried out the beta for FFXIV and i've been hooked ever since. The stunning visuals mixed with the Final Fantasy storytelling make for a delightful experience. From what I've read/heard its the best MMO to come out in awhile. Is anybody else planning on getting it? |

| I already have it, I just haven't had the time to play the beta much. However, from what I have played, it's a big improvement over the base XIV by far. I will probably play quite a bit of it when it officially releases. | |||

| Subscription confirmed. Cheaper than the majority of other MMOs out there, with an option to pay less to have only one character per server (you only need one anyway).
This is the second best MMO I have played, right behind FFXI. It definitely takes inspiration from XI, with a friendlier UI much akin to WoW, and party play is actually challenging. The best part? If you don't like playing your class, just switch a weapon and you become a different one. v1.0 had some great ideas but just lacked in the execution. A Realm Reborn pulls it off and brought PS3 users along for the ride. |
