| Well, since I'm one of the ones that does a majority of posting in that regard, nope.
For the ones that annoy me, I simply hide the author. Most people repost from the same 2-5 sources, so hide one and you really won't see much anymore. |

Anyways, things I'm tired of seeing on FB are FAMILY. I don't even bother posting anything on there really (never really did but yeah), no damn privacy. Oh and my mom. Seriously, she's become a mild addict I'm pretty sure. Dozens of posts a day and other annoying crap. All this and half my list being direct family that stalk me, can't stand it. |

| Right now the biggest peeve is all these invites I keep getting from businesses, bands, promoters, galleries, theater companies, and friends. There's just too much crap, and I ended up defriending a bookstore because they were sending me 6 invites a day.
Sure my news feed is pretty much one giant sharing wank-off, but those things aren't cramming my e-mail's inbox. Your place is barely the size of an average living room. How do you expect to fit the 4,000 people you invited if they all show up? Amusingly they'll invite 6,000 people and still only get 3 people who'll check that they're going to go. | Comikaze was a 2-day comic convention at the L.A. Convention Center this past weekend. It was brand new last year, but I was in the Mediterranean when it last happened. Stan Lee's company POW Entertainment bought it since then and tried to make it their own. It was a disorganized piece of shit con. I had a two-day ticket and was supposed to collect my goodie bag (the mob was so bad I decided I'd wait 'til Sunday), but I just said fuck it and didn't come back the second day.
And I definitely agree with you on the "Keep Calm..." meme. I loved the original concept, that being PSAs in England during WWII, but it's just gotten stupid. In that same vein I HATE these "I [HEART]..." shirts and banners and so on. People keep changing it to things that don't make sense like "I [ATOM] Science!" or "I [Captain America's head] Marvel!" |
