Elves... just the naturey awesomeness. And general badassery.

What is your favorite "not=a-word" that you use all the time? (examples being naturey and badassery)

I find myself concentrating more on walking straight and realize that falling is way too fun when I go to sit down. I've only reached that point a handful of times in my life.

Have you ever been comfortable with something most people would probably not be (untethered heights, touching dead people, etc)?

Dissection in my high school and college biology classes. The eye kinda got to me, but otherwise I loved doing dissection while all the other girls freaked out.

A week and a half, but I'm concerned about girly parts too much these days that I try to make sure those are clean.

Heh, OVERSHARE.

Well, I can go without washing my hair for that long anyway.

Probably some of our DVDs... it's tough to think of something really since it's been so long since I've been in one. I could also say my green shorts (those super baggy green jeans I used to wear, but altered). I didn't buy them, but Jayarre did from a Goodwill or something. Honestly though, I miss them as pants... my ex-sister-in-law made them too tight and short for my taste when she altered them.

Have you ever bought some food thing, forgot about it for months, spotted it again (with it still being good... like a mix powder or something), and went back to using it like nothing had happened?

Yeah, coffee beans and teas, mostly.

It's funny, just yesterday I finally pulled this can of Thai ice tea I bought at one of the Asian markets near my house. For some reason I've always remembered feeling like I'd bought it last month or something, but the stuff expired in 2009. Man, time really does fly.

Are there any movie sequels that you love more than the first in its line, and if so what are they?

Surprisingly, NOT the Godfather. I liked them both equally.

But I'd have to say "Empire" in the original Star Wars Trillogy. The weird thing is...ever notice that both the SW and Godfather series...they REALLY aren't "sequels" but are instead telling one REALLY long story?

Can anyone here answer the question "What's your favorite character. From anything. Ever." without hesitating or changing your mind?

I have many, but the my absolute favorite character in anything, anywhere, is the Landlady/Helen of Troy from Kung Fu Hustle. I wish Qiu Yuen was my aunt or something.

What place (real, NOT fictional) have you fantasized about visiting despite the fact that most would see it as boring or perhaps even downright horrible, and why?

Gnossos in Crete

Most people just are not that big of a history/archaeology buff to be interested in a palace from Minoan Crete.

Oddest color of lightning that you have seen? (I saw a red-violet color about ten minutes ago)

Reddish, I suppose. Saw it while standing on a mountain in Arizona right after Thanksgiving dinner a few years back. There was lightning over the next town over.

Took this when I was finally fast enough. It's a bit blurry, obviously.

Greatest book you ever read that you wouldn't consider a favorite?

Either Silence on the Mountain or King Leopold's Ghost, both are historical monographs, one about the impact of the civil war in Guatemala and the other about King Leopold II's policies in the Congo and how the abuse sparked a worldwide movement against it. Both are fascinating, disturbing, a a bit depressing but it is eye-opening to read them.

Of the fall colors (red, orange, yellow, and brown), which do you like the most and why?

Red, I suppose. It's more dynamic and red trees make for gorgeous pictures.

I can never really remember things in order, but I remember picking up little seashells outside of this big cave that all these tourists were walking in and out of in Hawaii. My dad says that was when I was 3. Can't remember anything else before that, I suppose.

Heh, that all depends. I suppose of all my favorite movies the one that would be considered "bad" is Cannibal: The Musical. It's definitely not an Oscar winner, and most people would think it's crap or boring, but damn it, I LOVE it.

Pat got me into playing "double digits" which was kinda a misnomer anyway.... but you basically called out when you saw a license plate with two numbers or letters right next to each other... like 5AA952T would be "double As" or 8Y774B0 would be "Double 7s"

Haven't played it in years. And it doesn't really work with the number system here in PA. Also used to do Slug Bug with my family... I was rather good at it.

Which is your favorite of the big cats?

Hmm, maybe the jaguar. I saw some cool ones today. Didn't realize they were native to Arizona too.

I've also been partial to mountain lions as a part of the American Southwest.

I don't think I've ever had food poisoning, but I remember my mom having a pretty nasty bout with it a few years ago. I felt soooo sorry for her. Wouldn't wish that shit on my wost enemy. She was in ICU the day we took her to the ER. Luckily she was out the next day and in a normal room. But even that was like a week before she came home.

Why do REALLY mornings exist? Ucky.
