Remember back in the 90's a movie called Macross Plus came out and one of the highlights of that show was a completely made up singer and was quite possibly the biggest thing on the face of the planet? Well, it's 2011 and that dream became a reality. Meet Hatsune Miku, she is becoming the hottest thing to ever come out of Japan and for good reason. She is cute, has a nice voice, and millions upon millions all adore her. Best of all? She isn't real! Kinda like the Gorrilaz in the US/Europe, Miku is basically a product of Japanese technology and maybe perhaps voodoo. Cause people go crazy nuts at her concerts! But in all honesty, she is actually a program called Vocaloid, which also believe it or not is available here in America. Most artists use the program to correct pitches in notes, while Miku is strictly program created. Every vocal, pitch, and tone comes straight from a computer. And believe it or not this thing is good. Why is she important? Well, Toyota is bringing her to the US. So this year not only will we have Lady GaGa but she better watch where she be steppin' cause Miku is in town and she is becoming the next Michael Jackson. Quick.
