This is a thread to list out the guilty pleasures that you keep hidden from strangers but share with your friends. That's right the songs that everyone goes UGH YOU LIKE THAT?! Lol
I have one guilty pleasure. It's always been a guilty pleasure for me too ever since he premiered on CDBaby.com and he came out with "Fireflies" and hit radio stations everywhere. That's right... Owl City. He's been changing up his style too. He was featured in one of Chicane's songs "Middledistancerunner" which is an ambient techno song. I have been a HUGE Adam Young fan and I guess I always will be too. =P Here's one of his new singles: His songs may not make any sense to most, but he has become really popular with Christian fans. After all he is a self proclaimed believer. anyway enough about my guilty pleasures. What about your's? What do you like that is considered to be taboo amongst your friends. Well, can we at least share music we enjoyed in the past and need to learn to forget about it? Cause I had a hoorendous taste in music back in the day.
(Please don't click this) Ugh. Sorry friends for liking this shit band. You guys had to put up with me being the most retarded white piece of trash on the face of the planet. Contrary to popular belief; Juggalos do die. Thank God that part of me died in like...12th grade. As for right now? That's kinda hard. Usually it's power metal and other stuff. But let's see... Drives my family up the wall. But really loving me some Drum N bass. Bassnectar is a good band I like that NO ONE I KNOW ENJOYS. |

I dunno, I think the main reason I stopped caring about them was when they were wrapping up their "Six joker Cards" saga. After that I just did not care for them at all and it starts to get really old when you listen to Boogy Woogie Wu for the 6th billionth time.
I still listen to Rap though. Just not that kind. Some of my favorites are King Gordy, Tech 9, Lil John, and more that isn't off the top of my head. |

I think Boogy Woogie Wu is the only one of their songs I could even listen to all the way through once. I have friends that got ICP tattoos... I am gonna laugh when they leave that phase.
As for me... well, there isn't anything right now that I would consider a guilty pleasure... but back in the day... well, in my little rap phase I was quite fond of Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio (yeah, you read that right, I at one point liked rap... I think it was from 5th-6th grade) Then there was the pop period (I was a tween)... I ashamedly admit to owning albums by the Spice Girls, Nsync, Hanson, and the Backstreet Boys... and nearly got Brittany Spears. ... you know what saved me? Twelve Angry Viewers on MTV saved me, because one day back in 1998 (or late '97) they put Marilyn Manson's video for Tourniquet on the chopping block and I was forever changed. The video passed, by the way. |

Ricky Martin was my absolute favorite thing when I was 14.
Still kinda like his music. Reminds me of this summer I spent in Hawaii back in '99. |
