How is it for you guys?

Because over here on the East Coast, just outside of Philly, we got about 15 inches last night. Every time the snow starts to melt around here, it comes back with a vengeance, and this time it was unmerciful.

Almost everything is shut down for the entire day, and the airport won't be at full operation until mid-day. Of course, the road crews are out. They do a decent job at making sure the roads are safe around here.

So what's the weather like in your part of the US or Canada?

Here in the good ol' Palm Springs area of Southern California: 77˚ and sunny!

It doesn't change much... I kind of wish it would.

While I'm also in California, I'm about 10 miles from the ocean. It's pretty sunny right now. It's still morning, so it isn't very warm yet (temp says it's 48 degrees right now). The high is going to be 77 degrees today.

Over the last few months it's been insanely rainy. On all three of the road trips I took during winter break, when I left Southern California, it was pouring. On our way into Arizona, after Christmas, there were five serious accidents and two mudslides onto the freeway.

Cali is used to rain, but not that much of it.

Gosh, I wish all I had to deal with was rain. Rain doesn't have to be shoveled, and it doesn't prevent you from going places.

Maybe I'll move out to California.

If you like horrifying prices, sure, go to Cali =P

Over here in Medford, Oregon, it's been Foggy. Alot. To the point where I think we're starting to re-live the movie TheMist (which I need to download...)

But that's about it. It's abnormal to have this much fog, but... yeah.

We got about five or six inches here.

It got cleared up quickly once it stopped, but some idiots were trying to remove it while it was snowing. Snowblower goes down the sidewalk, snowblower goes back, sidewalk's already covered again.

I think we've gotten about 6 inches here in the western part of Pennsylvania. The major storm seems to have veered south of Pittsburgh and missed us completely so the roads are still good. And it is nice that it has warmed up slightly, last week we were in the negatives most of the day after windchill was factored in.

It's been like Washington in North Western GA. It rains it gets bright and then it rains again. Sometimes we get snow... but about 5 inches. Nothing compared to how it was in the north. Ugh NJ is getting beat down though. It gets cold now that's about it.

New York City has piles of snow about 16 inches. And some streets has slush sidewalks. I hate waliking on them!

South East Michigan reporting in - not much in terms of abnormal snow, but it's f*kin cold! Way colder than normal. Lots of days with temperatures in the single digits and teens. I'm glad there hasn't been much snow for me to shovel at my new house...=D

It's cold as shit. There's snow everywhere. Any vehicle I have access to is not equipped for this sort of weather, and I do not have the money to make sure they are either. So, driving is nearly impossible, especially through my neighborhood.

We're supposedly getting ANOTHER storm next week?! WTF. I hate my life right now. I can't stop being bitter. While driving to work, some asshole decides to hydroplane. Luckily enough I somehow had enough forsight to pump the breaks a little so I didn't have to slam on them suddenly. Next thing I know, he's backing his bigass truck toward me, no signals, no NOTHING. So, I go into reverse...he's NOT stopping. I have NOWHERE else to go except for the snow mound behind me. My car gets stuck. I get out, knock on his window, and politely explain to him that if he doesn't help get my car out of there, that I would be forced to rip him from HIS vehicle, beat him even more senseless than he already was, and then use his limp body to shovel the snow from my car, which was preventing me from going anywhere.

Screw this "inclement" weather. It's causing me to regress back to the dark days of having a REALLY nasty temper and no patience whatsoever.

Oh, and Congrats LA!

I can just picture you doing that, Kat, lol.

And yes, congrats LA!

But yeah, I heard that for a lot of the areas near the Lakes that this was going to be a more cold/less snow winter.

Was picking avocados in the backyard yesterday when a cool ocean breeze went through the yard.

It's been pretty sunny lately, though it was pretty hazy in L.A. yesterday too. You could barely see downtown from Griffith Park.

It might rain some time this week, so that ought to clear the skies nicely for a couple days after.

I really couldn't help but chuckle at this.

And yeah, we're supposed to get another foot or something over here in a few days.
I never thought I'd say this, but I am damn tired of missing school for crappy weather.

I'm from the same area as LA and we are now just getting hit by some snow. We got a few inches over the weekend and are expected to get 15+ inches on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Getting some pretty intense wind here... 50+ mph in some areas. A few roads have closed...

Check out the amount of sand!

Where are you? The mountains?

It rained a little in the late morning, then it was nice and clear while we were near the shore. It started drizzling again, but then immediately the skies were cloudless and deep blue again.

I hear that we are expected several inches of ice tomorrow night as well as about three inches of snow. Not looking forward to having to go out tomorrow in that.

It is 3am here, and it is 4° outside.

Nah, I was talking about Lord Alexandor not the city of Los Angeles . The forecast still says we're going to get snow so I'm hoping for it.
