| I just started watching Mad Men, and I'm about halfway through the first season. I fucking love it.

| Of all the shows I watch Walking Dead gets the most ripped apart for plot holes, acting, and everything else. Honestly, I'm not all that excited about it these days.

| OK, now that I'm all caught up, I'm simultaneously loving and hating this show. Loving in that the drama is finally picking up, but hating in that I downright despise the majority of the characters.
The ONLY characters I've grown an attachment to in any way are Glenn, Dale, and Daryl. The rest... Rick, Shane, Lori (OH GOD, ESPECIALLY LORI!!!), Carol, T-Dog (SERIOUSLY?!), Andrea... they can all die in a fire for all I care. OK. Not so much Andrea, but the rest... good god, I hate these people. I mean, I've read a good chunk of the comics and I know what's supposed to have happened to certain characters, but since this is veering in a different direction its hard to tell what'll happen next. And that's IT in terms of likenesses with the books as far as I've read. They're doing a lot more with certain characters than Kirkman did with them in the original works. |

| If anyone else is keeping up, what are your thoughts on all of the main characters squatting on Hershel's land, using up his resources (medication, food, cars, gasoline, etc), and refusing to leave?
Every time I see them in his house, I find myself screaming at the TV. |

| Season's over, and shockingly didn't hear anyone talking about it at all at the comic convention that was this weekend.
Well, in my opinion, the season kind of sucked, though the ending was stronger than the overall package, and Rick's family needs to get wiped out in a heinously bloody fashion already. As others have shortened the season: Carl is told to get inside the house. Carl is NEVER in the house. |
