It's election day, for crying out loud. If you haven't voted absentee, head down to your polling place and punch that chad, ink that dot, click on that screen, put the jelly bean in that jar, or WHATEVER it is your area does for voting, JUST DO IT! I don't care which way you vote, but we need more people to let their voices be heard by this government and it's a goddamn shame that only a small part of the population decides what goes on in this country. I, unfortunately, won't get to vote until after class gets out tonight, but I will be racing to my polling place (that seems to be different with EVERY FUCKING election, what's going on with that?) to cast mine. |

| It's ridiculous, but most of the people in California who probably voted on Prop 19, only voted on that specific part of the ballot. None of them really cared about the other issues or what elected officials were better. They ignored the really important parts of voting and just check Yes on Prop 19 and turned in their ballots. I hate newly made adults who only care about not getting fined for lighting up. Ugh! | |||
