CONFIRMED! ALWAYS BET ON DUKE! So, everyone has been hearing about this game for the past 10 years. And in 2007, this trailer came out: Well, it was in late 2009 that 3D realms was no more. And Duke Nukem Forever ceased to become a reality. What you numbnuts forgot to do was ALWAYS BET ON DUKE John St John, the voice actor behind Duke Nukem said on his Twitter: "is headed for PAX Seattle tomorrow." "See you at Q&A#1 in the main theater 11:30AM Friday...ask, I'll tell almost all!" Also, Borderlands creator Gearbox Software has officially taken command of the Duke Nukem franchise. And has promised the gaming community that "It's sooner than you think" on the announcement. We will see this weekend when PAX kicks off. If there is no Duke Nukem...I swear to God the gaming world is gonna start some shit. It's been 10 fucking years people. This game sure is taking forever to come out. | The one thing that I think would make this one of the greatest games of all time, and probably won't happen, is if they included all of the previous incarnations of the game (whatever was finished) in the final release. If you've followed the news around it for the past 10 years we've constantly seen some screenshots, art, gameplay, that's been changing all the time with the years. But it would be amazing if they just threw in all the beta builds in there for an extra and we'd get to see how dramatically it's changed over the years.
Again, assuming it comes out. 
But yeah that'd probably never happen, unless 3D Realms + Gearbox = totally awesome. Oh yeah, can't forget this INSANELY amazing trailer from 08' ...
