You know that one character in the movie? Paul Edgecomb? Played by Tom Hanks?

You know what his problem was?

Yep, I got it too. And believe me, it fucking sucks.

It started the other night while I was at work. I was in the restroom when all of a sudden I kinda twitched a bit and it was like razorblades being thrown out. I did have this episode when I was younger during a camping trip with me and my buddies. It passed like two days later.

It's been about three days and now I am beginning to get worried.

I am always careful to clean my personal areas whenever I am in the shower. And I do so every other day (I like my hygiene thank you very much), not to mention I have a pretty healthy diet, and finally, I have not had sex in over two years. So I know a STD is not a part of this.

I am going to the Doctors office sometime next week if this does not clear up. I am (no pun intended) pissed off.

E- Yeah, about the whole "Next week thing". Make that today.

I've never seen the Green Mile, but it's good that you're getting this checked out.

Whether or not you clean yourself often, some kind of bacteria may be the cause of this. If you were exposed to anything recently, even without knowing, it could have entered your system and started this. It may be something that you've had forever, but You said that it's only presented itself once.

While an STD seems unlikely, it is very possible for you not to feel the side effects until later in life. HIV can wait as long as thirty years to effect you.

However, because you said you had this when you were younger, it is very unlikely that a STD in the case. Maybe a kidney stone?

In any case, going to the doctor is the best thing to do. Hope everything turns out okay.

Well, I can should mention that when I was young at the time I was bleeding. Now? I am doing the same deal. I went ahead and asked a friend of mine who is a nurse and she told me two things:

1- It could be a minor infection. It's natural, but rare for most men.

2- I still need to get it checked out. Which also means having an examination as well as other things I just do not want to think about at the moment.

Last I was examined was when I had a very rare skin disorder called Tinea Versicolor *NSFW*. It's cured now. But when I was examined (When I was I was nude and seen how it was free, they gave me all sorts of drugs for it) I was not comfortable. I don't like having the idea that I will be looked at...there. But then again the person who has to look at it is a doctor. So whatever.

The sooner this is over and done with. The better.

Yeah, it's their job to look at this but I know it can be uncomfortable. I had a minor debacle going on there last year but it turned out I just wasn't keeping hydrated and drinking enough water. Have you been hitting up the water a lot lately? It might be recommended.

Maybe it's kidney stones? I'm not really sure... whatever this could be it sounds like it definitely needs to be looked at. I wish you the best until then.

Most likely a Urinary tract infection, those things are horrible as far as I've heard. My girlfriend had one a long time ago, and scared the shit out of me by calling me in tears saying: "I'm peeing blood, I don't know what to do!"

I dunno, what Bitmap is describing sounds a little more extreme? But I guess UTI's can vary quite a bit... either way, definitely get it checked out and keep hydrated.

Well, I went to the doctor this morning to get it checked out. No examination was necesssary. Just a urine sample. Turns out I had a UTI, which she just gave me two pills and told me "Go to bed as soon as you take this. When you wake up, don't be surprised of the color of your urine. If the pain still persists; come back."

Well as soon as I got home I took the pill and went to bed. Woke up at 5PM today, went straight into the bathroom and noticed the strange urine color. However, I felt no pain! It was a sigh of relief!

But I do need to keep tabs on it for the next week. If it comes back sometime soon then I need to go back. But for now, I am flowing!

Glad it was only something minor. It would have been very hard get the same treatment that Hanks' character had.

Just like Xeios, my girlfriend gets them all of the time. Make sure you stay extremely hydrated, man. It helps a lot. I've never personally had one, but I hear that it's worse for guys.

I'm glad that it wan't something too serious, though. An apple a day

I think its safe to say it's pretty much gone. But I was very scared it was gonna be stones as well. My good friend had one about two years ago and he just could not move. His treatment costed him an arm and a leg and was a lesson learned that he should get health insurance.

Hell I can't apply for insurance for another two months. So I am holding a lot of things off until I can get my hands on it. Like getting my other Wisdom tooth out (Which by the way sucked).

But everything down there is working as normal. At ease soldier.
