| This is a work in progress. In the Dreamworld, it is often unheard of for a mortal to wander upon the land. Cyrus Hawk was one of the first mortals to not only wander into the world, but the only to call it his home at the age of twenty. Most wanted him dead, especially the darker side of the realm, but many stepped in to help the man, as well. Through exposure to large quantities of magics, 'Hawk' picked up his own abilities to fight back, and soon became a leading commander in a renegade squadron dedicated to defense of their land. One of the Dream Kings, Phoenix, soon heard whispers of the mortal prodigy that had become lost in the land. Taking pity, the King went to Cyrus Hawk and offered the man a way back to his own world. Hawk eventually declined this offer, instead wishing to stay behind for the good of his newfound friends. Through the years, Phoenix and Hawk became close friends. Often times they would find each other in battle and lend an assisting hand. It came time that the small squadron of Hawk dwindled in numbers and began losing battles. Phoenix sent a request to Hawk for him and his comrades to join his own army. Hawk accepted his position as the Kings bodyguard, only to have it short lived. When Phoenix was banned, Hawk became a wanted figure in the Dreamworld, and so he fled to the Angels' domain, awaiting the day that his comrade would return and take the throne. Appearance: From being exposed to magic in high doses, Hawk retains the appearance he bore when he first stepped into the Dreamworld. He has messy brown hair, and piercing yellow eyes due to the magic. Powers: Dream Eyes: Hawk is able to see all kinds of energy around him, enabling him to see through vast dust clouds and even solid walls. Wings: Granted to him from the Angels, they are brown and white, flecked with a dark red at the ends of the feathers. Charter: All things in the world have a symbol of some sort that controls it and allows it to be. Hawk is able to use these symbols quite well, and can control many different kind of magic and energy with them. Using a large spell will exhaust him, but he is able to use smaller spells with ease, as the symbols are what forms the magic. Weapons: Being a close friend of Phoenix, Hawk was given a one of a kind sword with a blade forged from the very Holy Light that Phoenix himself uses. In the shape of a twin-edged broadsword, this blade ignores any type of non-living material, disregarding armor completely. Hawk tries to use this weapon as little as possible, keeping it as a memento of his former King. As a standard weapon, Hawk uses a simple longsword. (Last edited by Phoenix on 08-26-10 04:48 PM) |

| I hope to finish one of our other battles soon, he sounds like a great character. the doppelganger power is a bit different but, until you think of something else. Mybe Phoenix could've brought him to high mages who could teach him spells and incantations and such.

| Yeah, I was thinking about making a character that used Charter (symbols). I could do that instead. Much more versatile, also. *Ponders*

| Charter is symbols. Like a square within a triangle and the sort. He is pretty deft with forming them, but they can be drawn on most any object.
And yes, I do. He is modeled after the Red-tailed Hawk, my favorite (real) bird. But he is also Phoenix's right hand man, and will kill you on the spot. |
