Alastor was surprised when he saw the figure of the Vampire fall, but he was more than ready to maneuver in the air, regardless of position. He had been planning on saving the dark energy charging on his hands to dodge a physical attack, but this was just as good.

Alastor quickly aimed his left hand in front of him and shot half of the dark energy off, the force pushing him backwards, almost stopping his movement and slowing down his progress by a lot. The orbs would miss their target by a good ten meters.

However, the blast was strong enough to send him rocketing down to the earth, but with no real damage. He was used to the heat after being in the Underworld for centuries.

He used this speed boost to his advantage, though, surely to his opponents surprise. He used the last of his dark energy to align himself with Frankie, so they were falling in the same vertical line. Red energy cracked upon his sword as he flew towards his opponent. He stabbed at his enemy, hoping to impale him with the charged sword, not releasing the energy unless the sword dug in to his flesh.

The speed at which Alastor was moving due to the explosion was enough to catch up to his opponent before he hit the water, also adding enough force to pierce the armor. Dodging would be difficult, due to Frankie's circumstances. The energy, if released, would tear apart the inside of the Vampire, not killing, but mortally wounding.

Frankie looked up as Alastor was stabbing downward. Frankie extended his arms and flipped backwards Alastor's sword was now coming down. Frankie placed his feet on Alastor's sword and he pushed himself away from his attacker. Both of their bodies plunged into the lake but Frankie flew out of the water as he watched Alastor's figure beneath the water. Frankie sent orb after orb to sit and rest on the lake's surface. 'You won't be down there forever' this wasn't a friendly competition anymore.

OOC: Be specific! orb after orb implies a continuous amount, which is exhausting in your state, if I am correct. I'm going to start exploiting your posts thusly if you don't tell me how much of something.

BIC: No, not forever. But long enough.

He had moved the Rage energy from his sword to his hand, and his left hand was charging Dark energy again. He could hold his breath for a few minutes, but he didn't need that long.

Frankie would not see the energy below the water, especially with his orbs littering the surface. The Vampire would assume Alastor was simply thinking, stuck in his predicament. He was too confident. Plus, the Vampire would be weakening still, from his large attack to sending down all of these orbs to the surface. Flying would be difficult after a while, unless he focused more on hand to hand fighting.

Alastor, however, had yet to use a huge attack. He was still playing.

Frankie pushed the orbs underwater and watched as Alastor's figure sat idle. Frankie caused the orbs to spiral under the water drawing Alastor to the middle of the lake. Not only would the warrior be struggiling to breathe but the explosive orbs were now surrounding him and getting closer. The odds of escaping without being effected by the explosions of the orbs was nearly impossible. Frankie closed his fist and the orbs exploded, Alastor was in trouble.

As the orbs exploded, Alastor once again slammed his hands together, forming a dome of energy to protect him, but more than just that.

The dome pushed the explosions outwards, along with a large amount of water. As the dome expands from the point of contact on his fists, the dome is filled with air as it expands, filtering in the oxygen and out the water. He could breath, but Frankie was in for a drenching.

With the explosions and the water being forced outwards, the surface of the lake would explode, cascading the Vampire in water for more than a few seconds.

After the explosions were deflected and his energy dome subsided, Alastor swam towards the shore. He should make it with no problem, as Frankie should be disorientated and momentarily blinded if the water had hit him, which there was very little chance of dodging. Just in case, Alastor charged red energy again on his right hand, with black on his left.

While he may not have been able to attack, he had gotten away from the explosions.

Frankie cursed the dome as he was hit by the sudden rush of water. He lowered himself to the ground. He was now on the opposite side of what was left of the lake. His breathing was becoming labored and that last attack left him a bit tired. Frankie summoned up three orbs of light to use as protection while he recovered.

Alastor stood up once he reached the shore and saw his opponent on the opposite side of the lake. He smiled when he realized Frankie was exhausted.

"I'm just getting started, buddy," he mutter to himself, smiling all the while.

Alastor continued charging the energy upon his fists and began charging dark energy on both of his feet. When Frankie finally got done, Alastor would be ready. If he thought this was exhausting, he was going to lose.

Bad.

Alastor laughed out loud, swinging his sword in elegantly in a taunting manner.

"I'm not done with my first wind yet friend!" Frankie pushed off of the ground and leapt over the crater his orbs still circling around him. Frankie sent a punch powered with his energy at Phoenix's chest.

Alastor chuckled as the Vampire soared towards him. He continued twirling his sword until his opponent was close, which is when he side-stepped the punch and stabbed with his sword towards Frankie'es chest. Considering Frankie was moving with extreme speed towards Alastor, and he had been thrusting with his fist, causing more forward momentum, to dodge this would be almost literally impossible. It was almost a sure hit, and was strong enough to pierce the armor.

If the sword pierced the Vampire's chest, he would convert it to it's Dark energy form, ripping and burning his insides. Alastor made sure to avoid the orbs floating about Frankie, and was ready for quick action, the red and black still charging on his hands.

This is it.

Frankie watched as Alastor avoided his attack and his orbs. He immediately destroyed the orb nearest Alastor sending his body to the left. But he wasn't quick enough to avoid the sword completely. The blade pierced his side and left him with a burning sensation inside. The blast had torn the sword out of him. Frankie lifted himself to his knee and tried to compress the bleeding but it wouldn't stop. Feeling himself get light headed Frankie charged his hand with energy and burned the hole closed. There was dust in the air so Frankie couldn't see if Alastor was hit but with the distance between him and the blast the odds of him being unscathed were slim.

Alastor was thrown to the side from the explosion, but he knew his sword had hit--he just didn't know how hard. It remained in his hands as he flew, and he rolled to his feet. Only then did the pain kick in.

A burning sensation across the left side of his body. The explosion had scorched his skin. He was used to heat, but he could still be burnt, to a degree. Some of his hair had been burnt off, but his arm hurt the most, being closest to the orb.

Frankie was not immune to his own explosions, so he would be burnt, as well. Plus, he knew his sword had hit, and it would cause internal damage.

He looked at Frankie as recovered from his roll. He saw the Vampire through the thick dust burning his wound shut, but knew the pain would still be there. As the dust settled, he rose to an offensive position, the energies still charging upon his limbs, ready to be moved if need be.

Alastor's sword was now in it's Dark Energy form, as well. He was hurt, but nothing would stop him from winning this.

Frankie's arm was burnt badly. But that wasn't where His attention needed to be. Alastor's figure appeared through the dust. Frankie charged his fists with his energy, and created another orb to replace the one he had destroyed. He then sent two of them out not at Alastor but just out to the side. He then stood grudgingly. He wanted this to be over but knew this battle would go on. "how're you fareing Alastor?"

"Better than you, Frankie," Alastor smirked. While they were still friends, this was much more than a friendly match. Alastor wanted blood, and it would not be his own.

Suddenly, Alastor slammed his foot into the ground, dirt shooting up from the force of the blow, thanks to a small amount of the energy used. Directly afterwards, Alastor threw his sword from his hands, the dark blade still made of energy shooting blade-first with tremendous speed. Frankie would be unable to see the blade coming for him due to the shroud of debris. It would pierce his torso if not dodged.

Alastor continued charging energy, and ran forwards to where his opponent was, ready for a fight.

Frankie watched as Alastor slammed his foot to the ground. He's used that trick before, Frankie thought as he leapt to the side and watched Alastor's blade fly into the forest behind him. Frankie covered his hands in energy and sent the orb guarding him into the dust. Alastor's figure was barely visible in the dust but Frankie saw him and prepared to fight.

Alastor saw the orb heading for him and quickly ran towards it, ducking and sliding. He knew Frankie had shot it from his new position, so he slid towards him.

When he saw the Vampire, he sent a kick powered by the dark energy that had been charging towards his leg. If that missed, it was most likely because Frankie had jumped out of the way. If so, Alastor would spring to his feet and send an energy powered punch to Frankie's upper chest.

His sword had been lodged into a tree, Alastor saw, and was there if he needed it later. He had his means.

Frankie saw Alastor coming towards him. He was low to the ground so Frankie jumped over him and avoided a follow up punch by flying slightly higher than his normal jump. He called the orb back to him and sent it towards Alastor. He flew past Alastor and into the forest he set his sights on something. His hands and feet becoming more charged as he entered the forest and neared Alastor's blade. "Never release your weapon if you want to keep it"

Alastor missed with his follow up punch, but used the forwards momentum to bring him down into a push-up stance, letting the orb fly over him. He jumped back up and ran towards Frankie, not a readable expression upon his face but the rush of a battle.

My sword is still in its energy form, Alastor thought simply. Not angry. Not worried. Just accepting. He was ready for this.

As he neared his opponent, he prepared for an attack, but only in rebuttal for the attack he knew was coming at him first. He launched no punch or kick, just prepared himself.

Frankie moved through the forest with his opponent giving chase. He saw the tree holding Alastor's weapon before him and using his energy charged feet he kicked the trunk destroying it and sending the sword deeper into the forest and into a plume of dust. Good luck finding it now Frankie said as he turned to fight. He charged his feet again with energy. It was time
to get personal. He sent a kick to Alastor's left thigh. They were far enough apart for a block but if it did hit the muscles in Alastor's leg would be useless.

Alastor sidestepped the kick and attempted to grab hold of Frankie's leg with both hands as it flew past. It should be an easy grab, with Frankie being on one leg and all of his momentum in that kick.

If he did grab hold, he would swing Frankie around and slam him into a tree. With the energy still charging on his hands, this would feel like swinging a wooden sword to Alastor.

If Frankie hit the tree, it would be with bone-shattering strength. Something was going to break.

While doing this, Alastor concentrated on his sword deep in the woods. Finding it was no problem, as it was made of his energy.

Now then...

Frankie leaned forward as Alastor reached for his leg. As he felt his opponent's hands on him, Frankie slammed his fist down towards Alastor's back. Alastor would have a very difficult time avoiding this at all. He was leaning down to catch Frankie's foot, so his back was clearly exposed. And the fist had incredible energy stored in it so if it hit Alastor's back it would shatter bones.
