| Piratecat Tiki's jolly roger bandanna has been out on the roof for the last two weeks and no one's gone out to retrieve it. It looks all faded now.
Ninjacat Miko is always sleeping out in the open. Watched the crescent moon set while sitting out of the beach last night. I want to go out, but I'm stuck at home reading comics. Oh well.. |

I have yet to finish Left 4 Dead (even though there's no story line, anyway) because I don't feel like completing by myself. No fun 
So yeah. That is getting done, and probably some writing. I was going to go to Warped Tour today, but I'm broke. |

| I thought I made a post here, but I guess not. Pretty sure I did, though. Oh well.
I'm currently in a hotel room about 5 miles from the Mexican border, freezing in the A/C, and Comic-Con International just started. Callooh callay. Already my feet are unbearably painfully and we're low on money, but panels are free, as is talking to the guests. So it's still bound to be a great con. I've got a few interviews lined up, but I don't want to jinx them, so I'll talk about them later.  |

| SO, my last physics assignment is due at midnight tonight. I have four parts so a single question left, and I am free from this curse. I am excited, needless to say.
I might be going swimming later. I also have the urge to call several of the stores that have not called me back, but it might be too soon. I want a job. |

| Oh, wow. So I am. After this, it'll be one. I need to pick an awesome thread to post in worthy of this feat.
Also, I just got back from the beach. Overall, I had a damn good day. It turns out that I do like the sand. I think I may have been using that subconsciously as a cover, because it turns out that I am scared of drowning. Which would also explain why I usually don't go in the deep end unless my feet touch bottom. Who knew. I failed at building a sand castle, so instead I dug a giant whole in the sand which kept collapsing around the outside from the water. It never got any deeper after a while, just wider. 
But, I have horrible sunburn all over my back and shoulders. And it fucking hurts. 
Oh well. I still had a good time  |

| Nothing much better than taking your friend who's down in the dumps out to dinner at a steampunk tavern, then to a freak show club to watch a pirate band (which was opened for by another band that was like a cross between Gwar and the Aquabats but with vegetable and chicken heads), just to have her say as she gets out of the car when you drop her off, "Thanks for being cool. I feel a little better now."
Shit, I gotta write some stuff for my friends' blog. I just wanna go to sleep. Then get up as go watch the Civil War re-enacted. And then a party launching the blog.
I love being busy, and all, but... I just want some time alone, I guess. |

| Yeah, it's all fun doing something every night and all for the last week and a half, but it's been sucking either 1) dealing with crowds, 2) dealing with douchy asshole types, 3) dealing with both issues at the same time, or 4) having my friend burst into tears at the most random moments this week.
I took her to see the preview screening of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," and she calls me later that night crying about how she thinks her boyfriend might dump her and how she may kill herself when it happens. Same thing happened the next night while at another friend's party. I ended up sitting out in the stairs trying to comfort her over the phone. And then last night, we're about to watch one of the two pirate bands and she just started sobbing. And fuck, having writer's block over such an inane thing as a blog entry about going to Comic-Con is so shitty, especially when you feel like you're disappointing your friends not sending it in sooner. But on the brighter side, it's been really fun doing all these things. And it's amusing that my friend got creeped out by the clown corpse on display in the club. |
