| Can't hurt to maybe try this stuff out though? We could always revert back.
Here's the current idea's: - Tech Discussion -> General Discussion (also maybe Help could be a subforum for General? I know you guys don't seem to like them, I blame them for not being too wonderful in AB's, but that might not be a bad idea there. Consistently one of the smallest and slowest forums around and this day and age I think we're all pretty relaxed, so questions and such wouldn't be too out of place in General for me. But a subforum might be better). - Story -> - Classic Gaming -> If we do this those two categories would be pretty thinned out and we could probably merge them (General and Entertainment), then it'd be 5 main forums under it so it'd probably look fine. Perhaps: - Video Hut -> Crazy I for one think Debate and Sunset or worthless, but that's me...  ... I could see them merged though.
With Story moved into Art I wouldn't mind putting Sim/Discussion back on the front if it's -absolutely- needed... I mean, all those forums are quite dead thesedays to be blunt about it and that was the slowest one. |

For now I haven't exactly merged the forums (and probably won't), but if people need access to the old ones you can find them here for now. |

| He probably means that it'd be pretty easy to merge all posts from one forum to another, but after that unless we kept exact track of those posts before or exported them or something, it'd be next to impossible to un-merge them apart again.
If ... that makes sense at all and if that's what he was saying, lol. Hence, kind of the reason why I'm fine with just kind of "shutting down" those forums and keeping them separate elsewhere instead of making a potential mess. And yeah I guess Tech/Discussion is alright in General. I dunno, all I know is that was always one of the slowest forums and it's been on and off for us. Any other idea's? |

| Hm. I think oyu may be right about getting rid of Debate Shrine, but I don't know. If anything big ever comes up, it could get heated. That seems like a maybe.
Otherwise, everything looks fine, I think. The Role Play forum is fine, until it gets a lot of activity, like you said. |

| Yeah, I'm starting to like it myself. I mean yeah I did the changes and all... but sometimes this stuff even feels awkward to me. , I know a lot of people here had a "If it ain't broke don't fix it" stance on this, but I dunno. I feel like it's kind of nice to change things up sometimes to keep things a little fresh. And I think condensing the forums just a bit will make it look nicer.
We'll probably change the banner soon too. Though I'm starting to wonder, should we try and make something more original, with no real copyrighted characters on it and everything? I'm starting to think that might look a little better and give the board more original character in a way, but it'd need more creativity. Though I do like the new one Cairoi came up with. But yeah, when I look up and see a random collection of a few characters, it's kind of weird sometimes. |

| Haha. Changes can be good sometimes. This place needs some new additions after the activity. I think it adds a nice touch.
And I like the the banner, as well, but I know what you mean. I really liked his idea on having a personal banner for everyone, but why not just one banner that suits all of us? A little bit of us somewhere up there--nothing copyrighted. If that's too difficult, rotating the personal banners sounds like a good idea, if DS wanted to do it. |

| Does anyone still talk to Sparda? He did something like this years ago, I believe, made indivituals their own banner. I know he made one for me, but I'm not exactly sure who else he made them for. I also don't think they were featured on the board, I think he just whipped them up for fun and gave them to us to put in our sigs...or something.
I dunno. Perhaps I'm remembering it totally wrong. But I think doing SOMEthing with banners would be pretty awesome. I definitely like the idea of making specific banners and such in specific themes for the board. **shrugs** As far as the merges, so far so good, imo. I know I was one of the people with the "if its not broken..." mentality, and I still am, but I'm not going to show up at your house waving around an firey pitchfork in protest of what's been done. **shrugs** |

| Well, I can have a basic design one, one that tries to capture all of us into one image, or rotating ones for individuals who sign up for it.
I mean, I've gotten a pretty good idea of most people's style on here. I think the easiest would be individual ones, but a group one would not be impossible. If you wanted one with everyone in it, I'd definitely like a description of how everyone would like to be represented. |
