In a weird physical sense. Finally got a new PC setup with a 22in monitor... I was using a laptop for years (17' or something maybe?).

This is crazy. A whole new world is open to me now.

22in? Damn. I can't even begin to compete in a "who's is bigger" contest. Mine is only 13 inches... And pending on what I can afford at the time, my new laptop will either still be the same (I need to upgrade, and screen size isn't the reason, sadly) it'll be 17in, max. Mostlikely 15 in though.

Damn you Xeo! **shakes fist**

Bigger is better.

Do you have one of those mini-laptops or something? That sounds oddly really small unless it's one of those.

Also I like COLORS! My laptop was more of a work/office model, so it didn't have the best "colors" ... it's great seeing how vibrant things are again.

I've turned to the DarkSide and am now using a Mac.

Was debating on just roughing it for school...but then I found Final Cut Studio and fell in love....it's editing/sound/special effects software...and only on Mac....so that immediately sold me.

And the standard Mac is 13 in. When I upgrade, I'm upgrading ram and gigs really, for Final Cut AND the Adobe studio. I might just shell out the extra 3 hundred it would cost me in the end for the Mac (I have all sorts of student credit, plus I'll get a discount, so buying a Mac is a little cheaper than usual already, plus the cost to get more ram, I might just spoil myself and get a new one. A bigger screen for my filmmaking would be badass.)

But truthfully...colors....I love 'em too. And Macs are vibrant as all hell. I love that about them, so I cringed a little less when I switched.

Well that's all an acceptable reason to get a Mac...

PLUS they do have GarageBand... hell yeah.

Right now I'm using a wide-screen 15" flat screen. When I went from using my CRT monitor to this screen, I felt then that a whole new world opened up to me since I was able to see more things. But man, 22" is huge.

I got myself a 22" monitor around a month and a half ago, it's a purty LED one too! 1680x1050 definitely blows anything else I've had out of the water, it also has a 2ms response time, making gaming and watching movies absolutely amazing.

Its nothing special, but it has great visual. Its fairly new, not that you can tell by the scratches all over the front..

...slackers.

I got myself a fifteen inch and a 20 inch, both running next to eachother as dual screens. Throw in the potential for adding in a possible two more screens, and I've got a monster.

I've got a 20inch screen, thinking about getting a second one.

Also:

Vulkar: quad screen? Graphics card supporting that out of the box? Or Cross Fire (or similar)?

My laptop supports dual screens, and I have a mount that can extend it to four. I've only tried it out with three, but so far, there are no problems.

That's the res I've got. Using this as my desktop it's like I'm sitting in front of my own little theater... lol. Just gotta get used to this!

But can it play Crysis on max settings?

(okay, I know... but that's probably what's preventing me from playing that game on a high resolution) =P

I actually did have this computer setup on my 32' HDTV, since it's got HDMI output out of the box. But my room is so jam packed and I had no way to comfortably use the computer there... ie: my mouse was on some box stacked on a magazine for the "pad", and my keyboard was on my lap. lol, was fun while it lasted though.
