| Well, my city was slammed with several nasty snow storms, I just found out I have tonsilitis, and have NO health insurance, my knee is busted up something fierce, and I've been all around feeling like shit. XD
Needless to say, I have not seen anyone in several days, due to the way I've felt, and today was no different. Which...is surprisingly nice. 
Although my boyfriend sent me a butt ton of flowers which I got yesterday. But, that's because he's in the "Ima kiss my girlfriend's ass because I made her mad enough to sock me in the face." mode. XD |

| I had to work from 9am to 10:30pm without as much as a 5 minute break, with my boss flipping out at me for the most pointless bullshit all day.
My ex-fiancee still hates me and wants nothing to do with me. I'm no longer motivated to do anything anymore. Fuck everything. Oh, this isn't the "Fuck You" thread? Whoops! |

| While I usually don't celebrate VD past getting dinner with my parents, since we didn't go out, Brandon and I ended running all over L.A. on an odd misadventure.
He wanted to watch the sunset from the observatory, which we've done many, many times before (almost every other weekend for a couple months even). But seeing as there was so much traffic to get up to the peak, we decided just to go get cookies from this one place, to which all the roads were closed (it's in a mountainy area). Since it was the day after Chinese New Year, we found ourselves in Chinatown hanging around a temple, eventually wandering over Olvera Street (the oldest part of Los Angeles) where they were having this huge celebration with Aztec and folklorico dancers. Ended up walking around Little Tokyo which was full of gothic lolitas and ravers for some reason. No flowers on this end. Just A LOT of walking in the middle of the night, with the occasional sweet. |

The day before Ben and I went whale watching and then had dinner at Outback Steakhouse for our Valentine's stuff, since we both worked on the actual day. It was fun, but no whale sightings for me... but hey, $18 for 2 hour boat ride with dolphins! He actually surprised me on the 14th by handing me a copy of Mass Effect 2 and I was kinda shocked since we hadn't planned on getting each other anything. It was sweet... especially since his reasoning was that it would take the cats longer to destroy it than a bunch of flowers. |

so. I spent the 18th to the 22nd home. I got a ton of food. But Eric and I spent the nights in a cottage for two days. =P now I'm in ft. dix nj getting ready for baghdad next week.  I feel like I came back in a worse state than I did when I first left. |

Damn people, it seems you might want to change the title of this thread to "Woe is me..."  I didn't have anyone to spend it with, but I did get a new CD player installed in my car, which I've been wanting to do since before I left Korea. Also saw a movie, which I forgot what it was. Then I had to get up and 3:30 am for formation and head out to "the field" for a two week training thing. That sucked. Mine wasn't horrible but it wasn't that great either. |
