| Preferably one with an admin panel.
I used to post on Acmlm's board back in the day if any of you recognize my username.. it's been quite some time. I'm looking to start a forum for a personal project of mine and I've always enjoyed the way that acmlmboard was set up. I've been scouring google for days and the best I can find is 1.92 .. but I'm sure there are later more stable versions that are out. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. |

| That was probably the best final release. There was the 1.A series that came after and it offered a few more features, but was a MESS with unfinished junk everywhere (but that's AB's in general I guess). Alright. I heard there was some 2.0 out or something but I dunno. I was reading about it: "v1.92.08 (12-06-05) This version was a rollback to 1.92, in favor of the original coding style and removal of many useless, badly-coded features. This had most holes patched and introduced a major change -- turning on magic_quotes_gpc at runtime. It was also the first version to include noticeably-cleaner code styles, although these were still mixed in with the original code. v1.92.900000001 (02-14-06) An arbitrary number of zeroes were appended for added effect. Attachments were added, as was avatar-uploading. v1.92.997 (6-26-06) Added collapsible forums, and Template:notes v1.92.999 (9-17-06) New skype name field, fixes to the board's IRC client, ability to send copies of a PM to 5 people at once. Also readded the client to the headlinks. v2.0alpha1 (xx-xx-07) The latest development version, as gone public with the fourth incarnation. A clean recode, but still missing some features from the previous ones. " None of that is released? Does 1.92 have a lot of openings for SQL Injections? |

If you just plan to mess around with it, it's fine. If you plan to run a serious board with it, expect to do lots of work on it. And yeah, 1.92 is pretty much the latest version release. Version '2' never was released.
