OOC: (It's been heard of before, the idea of more then one soul, so feel free to do so, however, be careful when your doing so, since the idea can also lead to issues when it comes toward the end of this RP.

Battle for control over one's body is never easy.

Just a quick post here. I'll be glancing over what I can and help advance the plot when I get a moment. I havn't forgotten you guys! Just slammed with work!)

OOC( Sweet...))

Synch sighed as she looked around. Her entirety seemed a bit out of it. Sync looked at Crystle. "If I may request... I would like to speak to the royal one tonight..." She said. "She and I have a long discussion ahead of us... and I want Sarah to not remember any of it.... Her little mind couldn't understand where this is coming from and I have to speak with her about something else as well..."

Crystle blinked a few times.

Raven, she asked silently, seeking an answer. There was a pause for a few moments.

"Hmn," came Raven's voice finally."It seems unlike her to ask so politely unless it is something important," more silence. "I consent to the meeting... though I must admit I am a tad worried at her graveness."

Crystle looked at Sync and nodded in agreement.

"When and where would you like to meet?"

Swirling images came about as if they were crashing ideas, forming, forcing their way straight into Crystle's head. In a short moment, all that could be see were a pair of green demon-like green eyes.

'Meet in the Kingdom of Orikan' The voice echoes significantly through her mind, and as quickly as it came, the entire image vanished.

(Dunno if John is coming back, so Ima skip the search a little bit.)

Kate sighed as she plopped herself back into her driver's seat. "No sign of him." She grumbled.

Without wasting any time openly lamenting on the issue, she turned to the other two. "Right, so does anyone need to head back to the school to get anything? Am I taking anyone home now? Or is there anywhere else we need to go?"

Crystle went a tiny bit paler for a second as the vision filled her mind. That had never happened before. Still, there was something compelling about that order.

"Orikan," she said to Sync before turning to Kate.

"I'm sure he will turn up eventually, don't worry," she gave a reassuring smile. "I have everything I need from school, so I guess you can just drop me off at home. I have a paper I need to write for English anyway."

Sync looked at Kate. "I finished Sarah's homework. The teachers gave it to her in advance because she's so far a head in all her classes." She smiled and nodded. "I will pick up my vehicle tomorrow. Sarah will just have to endure the bus...Drop me off...

"I envy you two having the ability to drive, my folks think that walking builds character. Honestly, I think it is more because they don't want to pay for a car."

Crystle rolled her eyes as she spoke.

Kaijin sat on the minor stairway that lead up to the short distance from the throne room. He looked around the large room, a smile upon his face. Soon, he humoured himself, the people in the area will be in this realm. Upon nightfall, he shall see the souls of all whom his human counterpart interacted with... All it took was nightfall when they slumbered.

"Hmm.. I wonder how many of them will acctually remember their meeting with me down here." He chuckled to noone in perticular. War was on the brink, and he was curious as to how this will turn out.

The Underworld. The place where the soul resides when the human mind wasn't in tune to it. Hell, even if they were. A place where magic, spells, and swords ran wild, and is limited to just the person's mental will power. Definently nothing like Earth.

Kata shrugged. "Driving only means the family makes me run more errands for them." she said listlessly.

With another shrug, she turned her keys to the ignition and put her car into reverse. With one arm about the back of her seat, she glanced over her shoulder to peer through her back window as she pulled from the parking spot.

"Alright..." she announced, shifting gears to drive and pulling forward. "Just give me the directions." She said with a smile.

(I'm assuming we're ready to move on to that night time crapola? Feel free to jump ahead from here, I'll go along with it.)

((join in on the night time stuff, it's fun))

Crystle gave directions to her house and sat silently for awhile during the drive. What was that weird vision? Soon, the familiar grey house came in to view. The garden and yard were the nicest on the block, thanks to her work, and the absence of cars in the driveway meant that her dad was still at work and mom was at the store.

"Sweet, no one is home, I have time to delete the message from school!"

She opened the door and started to climb out of the car but paused to look back at the other two passengers.

"Thanks for the ride. Hopefully I will see you both on the other side tonight, and if not, see you in class tomorrow."

She walked up to the door and unlocked it, waving goodbye before going inside. As she expected, the light on the answering machine was blinking. She walked over and pressed play.

"Hello, this is Ms. Dangle. Your daughter was absent from her afternoon classes today, we will be needing an excuse from you tomorrow or disciplinary action will have to be taken. Thank you."

Crystle pressed the erase button, checking to make sure that it was completely gone before she went into the kitchen to grab some of her mom's stationary. She'd learned to imitate her mother's writing pretty well over the years, so giving a note excusing her for a family matter was not going to be a problem. And by the time her folks got home it would be a normal time for her to be there anyway.

Walking into her room, she powered on her computer and began writing her English paper and doing other homework. She still had that to do before she could get out to the garden and work on some of the things she was planting in her miniature green house. There was still several hours until nightfall, she had the time to kill.

Quick paces through the busy streets of the well light day filled his ears as Kaijin glanced from old market to old vendor. He chuckled to himself, greatly humored at the aspect of the event that will soon happen. (Yes, daytime in the underworld, not Earth.)
Glancing about the filled streets of the old kingdom, feeling at home as he watched the knights walk with swords and shields, arcers at the massive walls surrounding the capital, buildings surrounding the massive castle at the end. Truely, it was a sight to see, one that could leave any king speechless at the magnificant sight and beauty of the old buildings.

"I wonder" he humored "just what they'll remember after tonight. Mayhaps tiz all a dream they conjure. If not, thy memories will be puzzled, cloudy. Moreafter, tiz all too knowing to be confused from a normal human life, to see such grand, yet structures of old to be around." A grin covered his vampiric face as he looked up twoard the sun. "My word, thy exiting lives of odd fill my mind such that my old tounge is filling mouth of new."

He burst out in a laugh, with a few peopel looking at the dark figure of intimidation, puzzled, but ignored him.

"I'll have to remember to speak like they do... When they arrive. Now the question is, whom will appear. The Soul, or the Human. Either way, the form of the soul will be here shortly... After thy slumber grips tightly..."

Sarah walked to her bed room and yawned after she was dropped off.

"You okay? The teachers said that you've been working out a lot."

"I'm fine mom... I wanted to work out today... I did my homework ahead of time anyway."

Sarah walked to her bed and fell asleep not even showering. She thought she'd take care of that in the morning when she'd wake up. Sarah was interested in finding out what exactly she was dreaming about but things just weren't adding up correctly.

Sync found herself back in town. She looked up to see the castle she had to meet Crystle at. She grabbed a fist and jumped from roof to roof to get there. Her mask covered her face. Finally she landed at the entrance. The door was... open. Sync looked up. "Kyll..."

((Hey PM me later Kai))

Finishing her paper, Crystle looked out the window. Darkness, sleep time. She crawled into bed and was soon asleep.

Raven opened her eyes to find herself staring at the castle courtyard. She walked through a set of doors and towards a room with a ornate circle etched on the floor--the portal room. She grabbed a pinch of sand from a jar on the far right of a rack by the door and sprinkled it on on the circle, which began to glow. Taking a deep breath, Raven stepped into the portal to find herself in a grove with a intimidating castle looming overheard. She could hear the sounds of of a bustling city outside of the trees, but none were visible from inside the castle grove.

"Orikan... my it has been a long time since I've traveled here."

Walking slowly, Raven made her way towards the castle itself. Something made her feel uneasy, so she made sure to pay careful attention to her surroundings lest something go wrong.

(OOC: I'll change this if it's not alright, but judging from Kai's last post..."...Soul or Human...." we can come in as our "human" charries. I'm not exactly ready with a character, will be tomorrow though..it's like bad writer's block...I can't be happy with a character I create until I draw it...so yeah....tomorrow...)

Katie said goodbye to Crystle and Sarah as she dropped each of them off.

"Bastard..." she said aloud through gritted teeth. She was alone and thus free to express the feeling of worry and frustration she harbored toward her missing friend.

She made her way home, nonetheless. As she walked into the door, she was greeted by a disgruntled sibling.

"Skipped again?" Katie's sister asked.

"What's it to you?" she grumbled as she made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. She didn't even leave time to hear her sister's reply before she closed her door and locked it.

Dropping her bag on the floor, she made her way over toward her bed. Draping herself across it, she pulled aside the blind to peer out the window. Despite the room being the smallest, it was the best location. Several times she had been offered one of the bigger rooms, only to decline. The view from this window was one of the most soothing sights she had ever beheld.

She could get lost in the view for hours...

To Katie, it felt as though she only blinked, unbeknownst to the time that was actually passing. The next thing she knew, she was in what felt like a dreamlike state, only there was nothing around her...total darkness...except for the voice.

"T'will be a night to make you believe..." a cool voice cooed.

"What the hell?" Katie expressed out loud to herself.

The next thing she knew, as though she only had to blink once again, Katie found herself in uncharted territory.

"A...dream...?" She mused, glancing about. But before she could say anything else, Katie suddenly found herself to be the center of attention. As she got her bearings straight, Katie got a good look at her surroundings.

It was...nothing like she had ever seen before.

Well...in books and dreams, she supposed. It was like a medieval fairytale. Around her was a bustling crowd, and to the horizon, was a castle...one of the most beautiful sights her eyes had ever laid eyes on...there were armored men...well dressed ladies...and everything else in between....swords and weapons she did not recognize...

And I'm the one being gawked at?! she thought incredulously to herself.

"A dream..." She murmured, only this time it was a statement, not a question.

Convinced she was in a dream, Katie willed herself to put one foot in front of the other, hoping that she would soon wake, as she wandered the unfamiliar surroundings...

His attention snapped to the side as he looked over a shoulder, through the croud. He figured it would happen, but still he felt his nerves hit him as he was overwhelmed with joy, for things were starting to stettle into place.

Turning on spot, with a free flowing grace, and airless wind flowing his trench behind him as he marched forth in the direction he was walking. Quickly, he glanced about, getting a feel for the spark that hit him: He felt their appearence.

"Finally" He spoke softly as he approached the girl whom was lost. He peircing gaze shot to the back of her head as he stood a few feet away, not wanting to completely startle the girl. Of course, he figured it would be easier to settle the most nervous, and work his way back up.

"Feel free to turn around, and absorb your surroundings, Katie." A devilish grin slipped onto his face, even though he tryed not to, he just couldn't help it.

Katie turned with more speed than she thought she had. Grace too, since she wasn't falling all over the place as usual...

Her eyes were narrowed in an angry glare, and her fists were up and ready. As she turned, what she saw surprised even herself.

She didn't visually recognize the man who called her by her name, yet...she knew him.

"Whatever you did with Cody..." She spat angrily, the mental capacity to connect this man with Cody surprising even herself.

"I'm going to kick your ass if he isn't safe." She continued, not letting her clenched fists drop.

It was then that she heard it. That soft, almost sensual sound. A giggle.

Without taking her eyes off of Kaijin, she felt around her surroundings, a strange thing she always had an affinity for.

I'll make a believer out of you yet, child... the voice cooed.

"Dahlia..." Katie whispered the name, oddly familiar as it crossed her lips.

The anger, and calmness that routed this girl's emotions was more then humorus to Kaijin, as he let out a soft chuckle. He couldn't be angry at the threat, just means the boy finally could find some friends.

"Well now, death threats, and I just met you. I've achieved a new record, I'd dare say." He swayed his left arm behind him, as he bowed forward, letting his trench flow behind him.

"Tiz alright, child of light." He chuckled, his old accent slipping. "Mine is refered to as Kaijin. I am the soul of your friend, so please, even with my darkening demeaner may seem, I am of no threat... Not to you, atleast." He grined. This was just too much fun for him right now.

"Welcome to the world that is within worlds. The land that all seek, even yet they do not know they do. The life that all wish to know the answers to; that one spark that gives hope to something more. In your world, and here, this place is called: The Underworld." He moved about Katie with daunting speed of grace and skill, now behind her. "You have many questions, I have many answers. However, to answer question one that floats and lingers within the depts of your mind, this is no dream. And to proove so, I shall tell you a word later that you may wait patiently for tomarrow, and if you hear it, you'll know it's no dream."

Slowly pacing away from her, twoard the towering building of art and intimidation, he ventured on. "You may wish to follow."

She knew he wasn't taking her threat seriously, and that infuriated her. Despite the fact that she herself knew that she did not seem threatening, and in most cases, perhaps she wasn't threatening anyway, her pride still thought and felt on it's own.

Gritting her teeth, she closed her eyes for a second or two and forced herself to keep composure. He said he wasn't a threat to her, and that he, in a sense she guessed, actually WAS Cody...she couldn't help but trust him.

Before following, she glanced about her surroundings one more time. The stares of some passersby were still burning into her, some curious, others seemed angered. She knew that whether she liked it or not, she was safer with the one beckoning her to follow, so that was just what she did.

She kept behind him, however, for several paces. She was still trying to get her bearings straight, but wrapping her mind around it was so exhausting that she decided to deem it a minor piece to figure out later.

She was here. Where exactly "here" was, didn't matter, because she didn't know how to leave. Accepting that she was probably stuck for a little while, she followed her gut.

Despite not being the tallest person ever, Katie's uneven proportions gifted her with long legs, and being an athlete blessed her with being able to use them.

In an effortless motion, Katie was now side by side with Kaijin.

"So...what the hell is going on?" She asked, the question, though vague, seemed sufficient enough to blurt out.
