| Yep, that is right, another one dropped dead. This time it was master pitchman and potential sociopath Billy Mays (the OxiClean guy). They don't know exactly how he died, but he was found dead earlier today. There is speculation that it could be tied to a head injury he received recently from stuff falling on his head during a landing in which the plane blew it's front tires, causing a heck of a lot of bumps.
Sadly, my first thought on hearing this... other than "wtf is with all the celebrity deaths?" was wondering if this means that the ShamWOW guy is going to replace him on his show Pitchmen. |

| It was sort of weird. I went into my parents' room. My dad was watching TV and during a commercial break I mentioned Billy's death to him... and then a commercial for the Awesome Auger comes on.

| The answer is, of course, Billy Mays... OxiClean for all. I half expect it to be given out at the funeral... I mean, he gave it out at his wedding for crying out loud. I bet you it's in his will or something.
Oh... and in more recent news: Fred Travalena, aka The Man of a Thousand Voices, passed away today at 66. Another one bites the dust. |
